4minute’s Jiyoon snaps a few selcas while en route to Las Vegas

On November 24th, 4minute‘s Jiyoon shared some cute selcas with her fellow members while waiting for their flight at Incheon Airport.

Jiyoon tweeted, “Las Vegas, Let’s go!” before attaching one picture each with Gayoon and maknaeSohyun.

All three girls wore minimal makeup for the flight, and seemed quite excited about performing at a huge concert in Las Vegas on November 25th and 26th.

Netizens commented, “You guys are so pretty. Have fun at Las Vegas”, “Hope you do well~ Fighting”,and “Jiyoon, So Hyun and Gayoon all look really cute. Hope you give a great performance.”

T-ara’s Jiyeon causes fans to worry over mysterious tweet

Recently, T-ara members Jiyeon and Soyeon were caught having a mysterious Twitter conversation.

On November 24th, Jiyeon posted the incomprehensible tweet, ” ㅇㄹㄷㄱㅈㅇㅈㄷㅁㄹㅇ ㅁㄷㅈ ㅈㄷㅎ.. ㅈㄱㄴㅁㅎㄷㄷ..^^ㅁㅇㄷㅁㄷ..ㄷㅁㄱㅈㄷ”, which was a sentence comprised entirely of initial consonants of each word. In response, Soyeon replied in the same format, “ㅇㄹㅁㄷㄷㄱㅇㅈㅅ”.

As we all know by now, it was only a matter of time before netizens were able to decipher their strange tweets. They guessed that Jiyeon’s tweet actually read, “I could die at this rate, everything should be done in moderation.. I’m so tired right now^^ It feels like my mind and body is gonna break.” Supposedly, Soyeon’s tweet said, “Let’s all submerge underwater.”

Many fans and netizens are suspecting that Jiyeon and Soyeon’s tweets were referring to the group’s strenuously stressing schedules. Some fans commented, “Soyeon once posted a similar tweet, too.”

As the fans’ concerns began to escalate, Jiyeon tweeted, “The post that everyone interpreted negatively was only just for fun. I won’t write a tweet like this again.”

发布消息的同时公开了《Trouble Maker》的封面照，照片中，张贤胜和泫雅以华丽的私人派对为概念，展现了完全黑色的时尚服饰，人引关注。 结合了Beast和4minute的表演主力，从定型的偶像舞台中摆脱出来，演绎出各自感觉最大化的高完成度舞台，将献上具有挑衅性又干练的表演。

Mnet to air English version of M! Countdown

Mnet revealed a special treat for foreign fans as they announced to expand their weekly music show to the United States. They will be broadcasting an English version of M! Countdown which will be aired through Mnet America.

The English version will feature the same comebacks and performances as the original M! Countdown. However, three English-speaking MC will grab the mic to guide the viewers throughout the show. The especially selected hosts will include U-Kiss members Eli and Kevin along with the 14-year old member of rookie group Chocolat, Tia.

As Hallyu wave making its way across the globe, M! Countdown English version aims on making the program more accessible to foreign fans by breaking down the language barrier.

On November 24th T-ara's ulzzang Qri tweeted the photo above with a caption "with my dongsaeng Kim Macaron (?)"

She took a photo with Soyeon and Qri called her Kim Macaron.

Kara's "Super Girl" ranks #1 on Oricon chart

Girl group Kara snagged another feat with their latest released second full-length Japanese album.

On November 23rd, "Super Girl" debuted on top of Oricon's Daily Music Chart, selling a total of 73,094 copies on its first day. Last week, Kara released the album on digital form and dominated Japan's iTunes store in terms of downloads.

Kara's debut single "Girl's Talk" claimed Gold Disk award with sales over 10,000 copies during the first week of release. Fans continue to snap it up for almost a year making the album surpassed the 500,000 mark in records sold.

Also, the girls recently claimed gold record accreditation on their latest single "Winter Magic", and has beennominated for the most coveted Excellence Award at the 53rd Japan Record Awards on December 30th.

There's no stopping for Kara's success in Japan. Congratulations ladies!

4minute HyunA & B2ST Hyunseung to form duo unit

4minute's HyunA and B2ST's member Hyunseung will be teaming up to form a duo unit "Trouble Maker".

On November 24th, Cube Entertainment announced the collaboration through their official website. The agency also unveiled the unit's album jacket photo for their self-titled mini album "Trouble Maker".

The photo features a private-party concept which showcases HyunA and Hyunseung dressed in their classy black suits.

"Trouble Maker" will contain both dance and ballad track that diplay Hyunseung's vocals and HyunA's rapping skills. The album is set to release on December 1st.

The unit's first teaser photo will be revealed through their teaser website tomorrow.

T-ara and Davichi to appear in Roly Poly Musical!

T-ara's Ji Yeon, Hyo Min, and So Yeon will appear on a musical, Our Youth Roly Poly, with Davichi's Kang Min Kyung.

The production team of the musical, Our Youth Roly Poly, has planed to release the musical in Southeast Asia. Lots of people will expect to meet the members of T-ara and of Davichi at stage.
The musical describes a lovely school days. The seven girl students have fun with each other, sharing their friendship.T-ara and Kang Min Kyung will take the role of the students. The actresses who will play the role of the adults has not been announced yet. An official of the production team said, "The actresses for the role of the middle-aged women will be all-star cast just like those for the role of children.

He added, "The cute and young students grew and became mothers, wives, and the normal middle-aged women. You can expect their brilliant performances."

On November 14 and 15, the audition for casting actors was held and about 20 competitors were selected. They will start practicing starting on November 24.

The musical, Our Youth Roly Poly, will be released from January 13 to February 25, 2012 at Opera House in Seong Nam Art Center.

Davichi and T-ara’s Jiyeon, Hyomin & Soyeon to star in ‘Roly Poly’ musical

T-ara members Jiyeon, Hyomin & Soyeon will be starring in the ‘Our Youth Roly Poly‘ musical along with Davichi‘s Kang Minkyung.

Even before production of the musical, producers knew they wanted to perform the musical on stages all across Asia. International fans’ expectations for ‘Our Youth Roly Poly’ are higher than ever as it is being put on by Hallyu stars T-ara and Davichi’s Kang Minkyung who has previously showcased her acting skills in a drama series.

The musical will tell the stories of seven older women, and their past experiences with love and friendship. T-ara and Kang Minkyung will be playing the roles of the women in their youth, but the characters who will play the roles of the older women have yet to be revealed. The staff remarked, “We assure you that the cast to play the middle-aged women will be just as glamourous as the girls who will play the younger roles“.

“In the musical, the cute and sassy schoolgirls grow up and turn into women of society. They become mothers, wives, and professional career women. We hope everyone will look forward to the cast members that will be fulfilling the latter roles“, they continued.

Twenty new actors and actresses were selected at the second round of auditions which took place on the 14th and 15th, and official practice for the musical begins on the 24th.

‘Our Youth Roly Poly’ will be performed at the Sungnam Art Center Opera House starting January 13th 2012 through February 25th, 2012.

KARA’s ‘Super Girl’ debuts at #1 on Oricon Chart

Last week, the ladies of KARA released their second Japanese full-length album, ‘Super Girl‘ in the digital form and it placed first on iTunes Japan. On November 23rd, the ladies released the physical album and ‘Super Girl’ has topped the Oricon Daily Album Chart on the first day with a sales figure of 73,076.

KARA’s first Japanese full-length album, ‘Girl’s Talk’ received the Gold Disk award by selling over 100,000 copies during its first week and has sold 500,000 copies to date. It seems the girls are also following a similar sales path with their second album.

Congratulations to the girls for their continued success in Japan.

Kara surpasses 500,000 sales mark with Japanese debut album

Girl group Kara continue to enjoy sweeping popularity in Japan as their debut single album "Girl Talk" has sold more than 500,000 copies in the country.

On November 22nd, DSP Media revealed, "More than 500,000 copies (501,999) of Kara’s Girl Talk, which was released last December, have been shipped out as of November 18."

"Girl's Talk" was an instant hit with sales of over 10,000 copies during the first week of release, claiming a certified gold. Fans continue to snap it up for almost a year making the album surpassed the 500,000 mark in records sold.

Continuing the heat of Kara's popularity, their second Japanese album "Super Girl", which was released today, has received more than 360,000 preorders. In addition, the album recently ranked first on Japan's iTunes store in terms of downloads.

The new album will include their current single "Winter Magic" and the previously released singles "Jetcoaster Love" and "Go Go Summer".

Meanwhile, Kara has been nominated for the most coveted Excellence Award at the 53rd Japan Record Awards on December 30th.
