f(x) ''We are the healthiest girl group''

The most interesting things during the interview with f(x) was “We are the healthiest girl group.”

When Luna was asked about her nick names like ‘Wane Luna’ ‘Horse Thigh’, she answered, “I’m not that cool to those nick names but it’s getting better. My friends told me like healthy beauty and members also told me that muscle is one of my attractiveness and it is comforting.”

She stated, “But I don’t want to shed light on my legs” and smiled with saying, “I thank to members not to tell about it. I like it because it shows I’m healthy and it seems not too bad.” Then told, “As one of my nick is muscle, my legs are mostly taken the photos. I don’t know what I should do.”

We thought they seem to have pressures about losing weight. Different with the expectation of severe diet, f(x) said, “We’d rather to be healthy rather than to lose weight. We also had experiences of losing weight without eating. While we had a rest, we even got massage.”

Moreover, “Our health is getting worse due to diet, irregular meals and short sleeping time. So we are trying to focus on health rather than diet. We suggest vitamins for other members.” Luna added, “When we look too much healthy, we asked like ‘Will we control a little bit?’”

It’s been a year to release new album and a long time to have same stage with Amber. Krystal expressed her feelings, “I’m really proud of our first regular album not single or mini album. And I like to show our upgraded music. I want to perform on the stage as soon as possible.”

Their title song ‘Pinocchio’ ranked first on the charts. They were asked if they have any confidence of wining over TV music programs, they said, “We want to do.”

As the reporter told Luna and Victoria will be likely to cry when they got first prize, Luna said with looking like dreaming, “I think I’m going to cry. Still I feel like my heart is too full for words when I hear about members. I think I will be really impressed if we got the first prize.” On the other hand, Victoria responded, “I don’t know because still I have no sense of reality.”

Lastly, f(x) stated their nervous feeling with having their come-back stage ahead on the 22nd. f(x) also said, “As it’s been a long time to have same stage with these five members, we feel like making debut” and expressed their strong ambitions, “It’s really heart fluttering and nervous. But we will not make you feel disappointed.” though their faces seemed strained.

4Minute says: "As a group, we'd love to be like a Hot Pot

When 4Minute released their title track songs for their album, namely, 'Heart to Heart' and 'Mirror Mirror,' their fans were at first puzzled about the real concept they wanted to present.

They did not give much expectations on the album, nor thought of getting higher rankings because of the tight competition. "Producers would often listen to the sound of the songs and then after 3 days or so, they can tell whether the song will be successful or not. It is hard to survive most especially when new songs come out so quickly," one explained. 4Minute says, "In our music industry, we thought that in order to be popular, we should sing catchy songs which are new to the ears of the public and at the same time, answer public's high expectations. Fans would also tell us the very same thing."

However, the "opposite" of their thoughts happened to be materialized. 4Minute's title track, 'Mirror Mirror,'eventually swept different music charts and soon enough, reached the top. Critics would say, "4Minute's charm is on their live performances. Whenever 4Minute performs on stage, they give off this powerful and dynamic charm which made the song more attractive to the audience, and later on, caused its success on different music charts."

On a recent interview with 4Minute, they expressed their worries about gaining less interests from the public.

"After receiving some unexpected comments, I just thought that they might change their ideas about the song once we start performing it on stage," Kim HyunA exclaimed.

"Fans would usually tell you the truth; thus, we decided to do much better in every stage performances, so that we can get more favorable response." (Nam Jihyun)

4Minute also got into numerous controversies, particularly, the issue which concerns about the "spread-leg dance." There had been unstoppable debates with regards to its sensuality which eventually made the members of the group, sad and disappointed.

"I never thought that this dance would be such an issue," Kwon Sohyun revealed. She continued, 'Our dance choreography was all over different forum-discussion boards. Slow-motion version of our videos were circulated all over the internet that made the issue become more of a bigger topic. We were really disappointed; however, we just tried to think positively telling ourselves that through that, the song received more attention. I guess, people really focused more into our performances than our song."

Korea's music industry has been facing "Massive Girl Group Debuts." However, 4Minute confidently says, "We all think that we have our unique color; yet instead of just always showing you our cool and powerful image all the time, for now, we would also want to show everyone that we're pretty." Heo Gayoon admitted, "When I learned about the 'Mirror mirror on the wall' concept, I thought like we'll just have to sing prettily, but later on, I realized that as we grow older and be more mature, our color would eventually change. This song allowed me to feel like I'm performing more like of my real age."

Last year, in May, right after releasing their songs: "HUH" and "I My Me Mine," they instantly went into a long-year hiatus in Korea's music industry; thus making their comeback more frustrating and burdensome. According to their initial plans, they were supposed to do their comeback at the beginning of the year; however, with their aims of recording their songs perfectly and meeting their fans with a surprising and successful comeback, they had to push it 'till April. Their hard work has obviously been paying off for 'Mirror Mirror' continues to be a big hit and constantly receives good results.

When the group was asked about their future plans, the girls gave a unique answer by saying, "As a group, we would like to be more like of a hot pot made of stone."

The girls were asked to explain and this is what they said, "As a group, we won't like to be just the normal pot. Like a stone pot being heated slowly, we'd like to experience that warmth of love within the group in a slow manner but a longer period of time."
