Leeteuk expresses his hope for Super Junior to follow in Shinhwa’s footsteps

 

Super Junior‘s leader, Leeteuk, showed his respect for Shinhwa, and his hope to follow in their footsteps.

Earlier, Leeteuk tweeted, “Shinhwa hyungnim! ^^ You guys are so awesome. We will also care for our members and love them! Be nervous! Super Junior is catching up to you guys! ^^”

This seems to come after the news of Eric revealing that he rejected an offer of a hefty sum to keep Shinhwa, the longest running idol group to date with a 14 year history, together. Although Super Junior hasn’t been around as long, they have also bypassed the critical five year period without breaking up due to their loyalty and friendship with one another.

After seeing Leeteuk’s tweet, the fans showed their support by saying, “I hope Super Junior will last as long as Shinhwa“,”We’ll cheer you guys on! Hope you guys last really long..“, and “Please be like Shinhwa~”

Song Ji Hyo talks about ‘Running Man’ and her image

 

Actress Song Ji Hyo, who’s been previously voted as the star fans most want to have coffee with as well as the star fans want as their childhood best friend, recently met with Cosmopolitan for their April issue.

In an interview with the magazine, Song Ji Hyo commented about her comedic character on the variety show ‘Running Man‘ and the image she has to uphold as an actress. She stated, “‘Running Man’ is a project as well, and I think of it as ‘mine’… Because ‘Running Man’ makes me happy, I don’t have worries like that.”

Song Ji Hyo continued, “To be honest, I find make-up and dressing up extremely annoying.” Apparently, the star immediately cleaned off all her make-up after the photo shoot with Cosmopolitan, and seemed relieved as she smiled bare-faced.

Kim So Eun and Junho share a romantic piano date

 

Actress Kim So Eun and 2PM’s Junho had a romantic date playing the piano together when they first met.

On March 24th, MBC will broadcast a music romantic reality program titled, ‘Music and Lyrics‘, and Kim So Eun and Junho will be the second couple to appear on the show.

The same aged Kim So Eun and Junho sat next to each other and played “Chopsticks” on the piano together.  They set a very care free vibe and showed their romantic and sweet nature.

Staff members who watched them together said, “Even though it was the first time they met they looked really good together.  We feel that the future broadcasts will also be filled with romance and fun,” raising anticipation for the love song that the two will play together.

Netizens who saw the photo of the two responded, “Piano date~?  It is Spring.  I am envious!“, “So Eun’s and Junho’s eye smile looks the same.  They look good together“, and “I am really looking forward to this couple!  I will make sure to watch the original broadcast.”

‘Music and Lyrics’ puts together a male singer and a female actress, and the two create a love song together.  The program will follow them throughout this process.  The first couple was Yoon Gun andPark Shin Hye.

MBC’s music romantic reality program, ‘Music and Lyrics’ will air on March 24th at 11:00 p.m. KST.

T-ara’s Jiyeon wished fellow group member Boram a Happy Birthday!

On March 22nd she tweeted, “Our Rambbo(Boram) unni happy birthday. From now on I will listen to you better.” along with a playful picture of the two.

Also, fellow member Eunjung tweeted, “Loving Rambbo unni. Happy birthday to the one that we can easily go to because of her warm heart. I love all your emotions. Your spirit is like a pillar. Stay healthy and always be strong.”

T-ara‘s Hyomin showed off her perfect doll-like legs.

On March 21st, Hyomin uploaded pictures on her Twitter with the description, “Wizard Ram-bbo(Boram) used magic to make my legs look like rubber! Gomu Gomu~ (‘Rubber Rubber’, reference to manga ‘One Piece’)“.

On the photos, Hyomin is wearing shorts with an orange knit, while revealing her long and attractive legs. After viewing the photos, netizens commented, “Hyomin’s legs are the best“, “I think she has the best body out of all the T-ara members“, and “Her outfit is so cute!“.

Heechul snaps a photo with a dog

 

Super Junior member Heechul released a photo he took with a dog at a restaurant.

On March 23rd, Heechul uploaded a photo on his Twitter with the word, “Dogface.”

Although the lighting isn’t very bright, Heechul’s eye catching good looks have drawn the gaze of fans. Even with his short hair he, “looks prettier than a woman.”  In front of Heechul and the dog is a meal that has been finished off.  It seems he and his new friend were both quite famished!

Celebrities are no strangers to dieting, and some develop bizarre eating habits to prep for their acting roles.Davichi's Kang Minkyung has proven that she is no exception, especially when it comes to crash dieting

Kang revealed that by eating just half a sweet potato a day, she lost six kilograms (13 pounds) in just two weeks before shooting advertisements for the vitamin drink Miero Fiber.

“I love chocolates and cookies, but instead of snacking, I would have a bite of an uncooked sweet potato instead,” Kang said on SBS’ “Night of TV Entertainment” on March 21.

Her second secret to weight loss: “black food.” The singer said that she saw actress Lee Mi Sook have a concoction of black sesame, black beans and black rice blended with milk, and decided to try the concoction for herself. The two co-starred in the drama “Smile, Mum” in 2010.

Sulli ‘Pink Wings Campaign’ photos for Vogue Girl revealed

 

f(x)‘s Sulli recently took on the ‘Pink Wings Campaign‘ for Vogue Girl.

The ‘Pink Wings Campaign’, is already endorsed by other female celebrities such as Yoo In Na,Hyuna, SISTAR, and more. The campaign aids families where due to circumstances, the grandparents end up taking care of their grandchildren. The products endorsed through Sulli’s pictorial will be sold at the Pink Wings Pop-up Store and all profits from these products will be donated to the families of the ‘Pink Wings Campaign’.

Sulli’s photoshoot was themed just in time for Spring as she portrays an innocent and girly image while managing to create a different atmosphere for each photo.

2NE1 - L 'Official Hommes Korea Magazine!

 

2NE1 has worked with Will.I.Am for a year now, and during that year they completed 10 songs. L'Officiel Hommes had a chance to interview girl group 2NE1 who is planning to make their entrance in US.

Read the interview below.

We'd like to ask some things about producing with Will.I.Am. What was it like working with him for your American debut?

2NE1: We didn't make 10 songs to complete a 10 song album, but we made tons of songs. Sometime pick and choose which songs we want to include, and sometimes we put old songs into new albums if they weren't released. We are continuing to work hard on is album because we want to make it better, even if it's just through little changes. Nothing is set in stone yet, and the results will be out when we feel it's right.

There were probably a lot of fun moments while working wi Will.I.Am. Can you share some with us?

Minji: It was cold in Korea so he asked us how to say "cold" in Korea. We taught him how to say "choowuh choowuh" and it was fun to see him try to say it. 

Sandara: Will is very interested in fashion. He always looks at our shoes and tell us they're cute and asks where we got them. The way he says "that's dope!" is very cute. 

Bom: I was really nervous to work with will for the first time, but he kept playing around. (In the recording booth,) I would sing a tune and a different tune would be playing on the monitor. I was scared because I thought I wasn't doing well, but it turns out Will was fooling around. 

CL: Will would invite us over and cook for us. We would talk about music while eating and these memories are very fond to me. We shared our interests in James Brown and R. Kelly, so it was fun. 

2NE1 has worked with amazing people in Korea, but this time the level is a bit different. What was distinctly different?

Minji: Will is crazy about music. His whole life is a path with music. I think that's all I can say!

Sandara: The first time, I was really curious to see what it would be like to work with him. He is very famous and I really like him as an artist. I was nervous but working with him was extremely enjoyable. If he comes up with something, he writes a song right there in a blink. His ways of producing are very interesting and fun. He really is amazing, 

The time of production of Will's solo album seems to overlap with your album. Was it difficult in terms of time and distance?

2NE1: Working with Will is always fun so whenever we meet we are very happy. We didn't have much difficulties producing together because we grow in terms of the music aspect.

2NE1 is gathering attention especially for winning the MTV Iggy Best New Band which took place in America. Is there anything you are sure to present to the American market?

2NE1: We plan on doing what we always do by having fun on stage freely. Rather than showing something special, we want to have fun on stage and interact with the audience. 

Sandara: We didn't have much experience with promoting overseas, so it was a new feeling. But with the IGGY performance in Times Square, I felt so good! I felt passion coming out of my body.

YG Entertainment seems to focus on iTunes, YouTube, and concerts rather than fixated promotions, but does this mean you try to look are reactions of people?

Sandara: I can't really say anything for sure, but I do want to show more active promotions in Korea. 

Minji: I personally think it is important to keep an Internet based communication. 

WIll.I.Am's upcoming concert seems to have Britney and Justin Bieber. Can we also see 2NE1?

2NE1: That will happen someday right? We think 2NE1 is like an iguana that always changes because we are so unique. It would be such an honor and we would be really happy. I think not just us, but other Korean artists will all reach a day when we can spread around the world.

Your Japanese album release on 3/28 is coming up. People are looking forward to your US album, are there plans to release it soon?

2NE1: We haven't decided anything for sure yet. But we want to wait until we have material that can match the expectations. We want to look at America more before we debut.

The stage with Will at MAMA was really amazing. I bet CL practiced a lot. Was it difficult?

2NE1: We are very proud of CL for putting on such a good stage even though she didn't have much time to practice. In the artist seats, the three of us were very excited, riding the rhythm, and enjoying the performance it was like we were all performing together.
