HyunA and Gyuri show their hot tempers during ‘Running Man’

Kara‘s Gyuri and 4minute‘s HyunA recently released their inner rage during a quiz game on SBS‘ ‘Running Man‘.

On the May 13th broadcast of ‘Running Man’, HyunA, Gyuri, Kara’s Seungyeon, Miss A‘s Suzy, andf(x)‘s Krystal guest-featured on the show.  The members partnered up with the original Running Man members and participated in the ‘Wedding Race’ game.

During the race, the coupled-pairs entered an electronic department store to play a quiz game.  Participants were directed to stand in a horizontal line and run towards the producer who had the beeper in front of him.  The first couple to press the beeper button would have the privilege to answer a quiz question first.  Prizes for answering the questions correctly included a smart LED slim TV, air conditioner, coffee maker, and more.

Kwangsoo and Gyuri, who were partners had an urge to win.  When the chance came for them to answer a question, however, they spoke unclearly due to pressure and had to go back in line.  Out of frustration, Gyuri unleashed her anger and yelled, “Aish! [crap!]” and flung her wedding gloves across the room.  Kwangsoo became a little startled by her action and Yoo Jae Suk playfully commented, “Everyone is so angry right now“.

4minute’s Hyuna also showed frustration when she and Kim Jong Kook mis-answered a question.  The producer hit the xylophone to signal that their answer was wrong.  Out of frustration, HyunA made an angry expression and yelled, “Ah! My ear hurts!“.  Nearby members cracked up at her cute tantrum.

The winner of this week’s Running Man ultimately went to Gary and Krystal.  Krystal received a gorgeous crown as her prize, which evoked much jealousy from the other female idols.

Super Junior, “We still have a long way to go to match TVXQ’s popularity”

Hallyu superstars Super Junior recently gained attention as they commented on their increasing popularity in the Japanese market.

On May 13th, Super Junior held a press conference to mark the ‘Super Show 4‘ concert at the prestigious Tokyo Dome. During the conference, leader Lee Teuk shared his thoughts on Super Junior’s popularity by commenting, “I think we benefited greatly from the Hallyu Wave“.

When asked about the comparisons to label mates and fellow Hallyu superstars TVXQ, Lee Teuk replied, “Many people compare our popularity to TVXQ’s, but we really have a long way to go. TVXQ’s fandom is beyond imagination. TVXQ’s popularity is the result of hard work that began at performances in front of only 500 people.”

He continued by explaining, “In comparison, we never had any real promotions or activities in Japan but we received a lot of love as a result of the K-pop boom. We are considering creating a unit in Japan in order to repay the love that we received.”

In related news, Super Junior held their ‘Super Show 4′ performance across two nights at the Tokyo Dome. The concert was a resounding success, as each performance played to a crowd of over 55,000 and grossed over $14 million dollars in revenue.

The next leg of the ‘Super Show 4′ tour is scheduled to be held in Seoul on May 26 and 27th.

2PM’s ‘The Avengers’ poster revealed

Last week, allkpop presented its own poster version of the highly popular movie, ‘The Avengers‘.  Now, it looks like boy group, 2PM has one of their own.

On May 13th, 2PM’s Chansung uploaded 2PM’s Avenger poster and tweeted, “The sync is daebak!!!!  Avengers 2PM Version!!! kekekeke  It looks like Jin Young hyung gathered all of us. Muhaha. Chanthor! kekeke Ok-Hulk keke JunHawkEye kekeke“.

‘The Avengers’, Marvel’s latest blockbuster movie made history earlier today, as it accumulated over $1 billion in gross sales, only 19 days after it began rolling out in designated markets.  Although, this is an edited version, it’s very impressive, nonetheless.  The smooth embedment of the 2pm members onto the poster makes it look very authentic and professional.  For those who aren’t familiar with the characters,Junsu represents Iron Man, Junho as HawkEye, Taecyeon as Hulk, Nickkhun as Captain America, Chansung as Thor, Wooyoung as Black Widow, and Park Jin Young as Nick Fury.

Fans were extremely intrigued and commented, “Wow, this looks awesome“, “I need to go and watch this movie“, and “Junsu looks sick in that armor!”

Kang Min Kyung has a rocky start to her MC debut on “Immortal Song 2″

Kang Min Kyung made her MC debut stage on May 12th’s airing of KBS‘ “Immortal Song 2“. Although she has appeared on the show before, she looked nervous since this was her first time being on stage as an MC.

Her nerves were shown through her ‘out of the blue’ questions. Not paying attention to the flow of the show, she asked questions that came to her mind such as asking about “thoughts on having the first stage” and “thoughts after seeing a performance.”

Even the veteran MCs Jun Hyun Moo and Moon Hee Jun seemed thrown off by her mc-ing style.

But this wasn’t all. Kang Min Kyung interviewed the guests too quickly and the other MCs asked her, “Why are you interviewing them so quickly” and Kang Min Kyung pointed at Sonya at the other side of the room as she answered, “I wanted to get a chance to interview Sonya.”

The guests couldn’t help but laugh as Kang Min Kyung chose to interview one by one instead of directly addressing the person she wanted to interview in the first place.

Although she has proven herself as an artist, she was still a rookie MC and seemed a little tense as she spoke very clearly.

The others laughed as she enunciated every words as she asked Sung Hoon, who has been maintaining his undefeated title for 5 weeks in a row, “I’m excited for what Sung Hoon will show on stage today.”

It was a little awkward since it was her first time, but the viewers could see that MC Kang Min Kyung was trying hard. The show became more entertaining thanks to her awkward mc-ing and her hate-love romance with Huh Gak.

5月13日下午5时，在日本东京巨蛋，Super Junior唱着他们第五章专辑中的《Super Man》登上了舞台。5万5000多名观众的欢呼声立即充斥了整个东京巨蛋。演出现场亮起了象征SJ的蓝色荧光棒。 当天，SJ在东京巨蛋举行了他们第4次世界巡演的“Super Show 4”。原本东京巨蛋能容纳5万多名观众，但当天在看不见舞台的5000多个座位上也坐满了观众。 在当天的公演中，SJ演唱了《Sorry Sorry》、《美人啊》、《Mr.Simple》等热门单曲。另外，成员们还相继登上舞台，表演了钢琴演奏、舞蹈表演、架子鼓演奏等精彩的节目。成员们扮演的Chuckie（艺声）、Marilyn Monroe（晟敏）、超人（始源）、Steve Jobs（圭贤）等也将演出推向了高潮。 成员们在表演过程中全部使用日语，还用起重机等巡视整个演出现场，与粉丝们进行面对面接触。


粉丝们挥舞着荧光棒，高喊着“我爱你”、“我喜欢你”等，还跟着哼唱韩语歌词。8米高的喷水秀，华丽的激光秀等也是舞台的一大亮点。演出时间长达3小时30分。成员们在演唱了37首歌曲之后，演出才落下了帷幕。从大阪乘坐了8个小时汽车赶来的Kotani Mayu(22岁)说“完美的舞蹈和歌曲让整个舞台充满了梦幻感，他们为粉丝而努力的样子特别帅”。 去年11月19日，SJ在首尔开始了他们的“Super Show4”世界巡演。在日本（大阪）、台湾、新加坡、香港、泰国、法国、中国、印度尼西亚举行完演出之后，SJ来到了日本东京。5月12~13日在东京巨蛋举行的两次公演中，共聚集了11万多名粉丝。据悉，10日、12日和13日流行歌手Lady Gaga在琦玉超级体育馆（埼玉 Super Arena）举行的公演中共聚集了4万5000多名（每场1万5000多名）观众。 


之前，SJ在日本发行了三张单曲专辑，但并没有举行参加演出等特别的宣传活动，而后却登上了日本最大的公演场“梦的舞台”。回顾过去的世界巡演，SJ至今共到过10个城市，参加过22场公演，共有35万4000多名观众参加过他们的演唱会。在演出前举行的记者招待会上，李特说“我们的下一个目标是在能容纳8万多名观众的中国北京奥运会主体育场举行演唱会”。 


5月26~27日，SJ将在首尔奥林匹克公园体操竞技场举行Super Show4 的返场演唱会。

The movie ‘Jackal is coming,’ which attracted the attention of the public by casting as leading roles JYJ Kim Jaejoong, hallyu star that has explosive popularity across Asia, and actress Song Jihyo who received much love from the viewers as an ace of SBS’s variety show ‘Running Man’, had a gosa ceremony wishing for great success on May 9^th at Nomad Film located in Chungmuro Film Center of Dongguk University, Seoul.
