Super Junior Kangin, 'I fell for Hyoyeon at first sight 14 years ago'

Super Junior Kangin confessed he fell for SNSD's Hyoyeon.

On August 15, Kangin appeared as special MC on JSTV 'The Ultimate Group'. When MC ZhouMi asked, "Do you remember SNSD's debut?",Kangin responded, "I remember the debut appearance of 9-member SNSD." He continued, "During that time when SNSD were preparing for their debut, I was also busy for Super Junior debut preparation."

In response to MC Jo Hye Ryun's question 'Who's the most beautiful member when you first saw SNSD?', he replied, "When I went to SM, I saw Hyoyeon first. When I see Hyoyeon's dancing appearance, I fell for it."

When asked, "So when was the last time you met Hyoyeon?", Kangin answered, "14 years ago," and caused laughter in the set.

'Fashion King' rep responds to rumors suggesting that Sulli won't join promotions for the movie

Although 'Fashion King' reps previously assured fans that f(x)'s Sulli has been committed to her filming schedule for the upcoming movie, even after the announcement of her temporary halt on her activities and confirmation of her relationship with Dynamic Duo's Choiza, another report surfaced to suggest that it is likely that Sulli will not join promotions for the movie. 

However, the movie's rep responded to the rumors to say that no such talk has even taken place yet as the movie is still only in the early stage of planning out the promotion schedule.

The movie's rep told TV Report on the 28th, "We recently approximated the premiere date of 'Fashion King'. At the earliest, the movie is set to premiere early October... We are in a situation where we still have to discuss with the cast concerning their schedules... We haven't contacted Sulli's reps yet and Sulli's reps haven't notified us of any absence. It is something that we still need to discuss more."

'Fashion King', based on the popular webtoon of the same title, portrays the story of a male student who becomes interested in fashion and tries to become the most handsome and best dressed man around. Joo Won will play the male lead role of Woo Ki Myung, and Sulli will play the female lead role, Kwak Eun Jin.

Davichi to take over as special DJs for 'Volume Up' radio August 28, 2014 @ 3:02 am

Davichi (Kang Min Kyung and Lee Hae Ri) are taking over KBS Cool FM's 'Yoo In Na's Volume Up' radio show as special DJs!

The radio show's rep stated on August 28, "Davichi's Lee Hae Ri and Kang Min Kyung will be special DJs together this weekend on August 29-31." On top of hosting the radio show as DJs, Davichi are set to perform live on air and get fans to know them better. The duo will be filling in for Yoo In Na, who is busy filming the tvN drama 'My Secret Hotel'.

Tune into 'Yoo In Na's Volume Up' radio with DJ Lee Hae Ri and Kang Min Kyung on August 29-31 at 8 PM KST!

Baek Ji Young to have a solo concert in the US

Baek Ji Young will become the first K-pop singer to perform at the Avery Fisher Hall at the Lincoln Center in New York.

The singer will be holding her "Sentimental Memories" solo concert at Nokia Club in L.A on August 28 and Avery Fisher Hall in New York on the 30th. She is set to perform many of her hit songs, including “My Ear’s Candy”, “Good Boy,” along with OSTs such as “That Woman” from the SBS drama “Secret Garden” and “Don’t Forget” from the KBS drama “Iris 2.”

Baek Ji Young shared, "I think there is nothing else I can do but to give a good performance. I’ll do my best not to disappoint the audience".

After her two concerts in the United States, the singer will come back to Korea to start her national tour “2014 Baek Ji Young Show - That Woman” on September 20. The concert will start from Seoul and then move to Busan, Daejeon and Cheonan.

Super Junior release highlight medley for 'MAMACITA'

After dropping their two MV teasers, Super Junior follow up their 7th album's highlight medley for fans to get previews of their upcoming tracks.

The 10 tracks vary from jazz, reggae, RnB, ballad and more titled "Midnight Blues", "Evanesce", "Raining Spell for Love", "This is Love", "Let's Dance", "Too Many Beautiful Girls", "Mid-Season"  and title song "Mamacita". One track 'Shirt' is said to be composed by Donghae.

The album will be released online on August 29 ahead of the physical release on September 1. Listen below:

SHINee's Taemin opens up about his dating experience on 'Sunny's FM Date'

SHINee's Taemin opened up about his dating experience on the August 26th episode of MBC FM4U's 'Sunny's FM Date'.

DJ Sunny of Girls' Generation mentioned, "If you like someone, are you the type of person to confess first? Or do you watch them from afar because you're unable to express how you feel?" Taemin responded, "If I really like her, I think I'll confess first. I'm on the hasty side."

He added, "How should I say, I think I lack experience. Dating is such a far off memory to me. I don't even remember." Sunny commented, "Is it that you lack experience? Date a lot while you're young and pretty." 

Taemin didn't take the bait, however, as he stated, "I'll do it with my fans." 

In other news, Taemin recently made his solo debut with "Danger".

Super Junior have released the highlight medley for their upcoming album 'MAMACITA'!

Fans have been waiting for Super Junior's seventh album ever since their comeback was announced earlier this summer, and the group's matador-cowboy concept has raised the anticipation another level!

Although the physical copy of the album will drop on September 1, ELF will be able to hear the full songs earlier as the online release will take place on August 29 at midnight KST! The boys will then head on to perform their comeback stage on the same day.

'My Lovely Girl' gives a peek at Krystal and Rain's chemistry in first teaser

The first teaser for upcoming SBS drama, 'My Lovely Girl,' has now been released, giving a glimpse at the chemistry between f(x)'s Krystal and Rain!

Short and sweet, the teaser shows a hardworking Krystal toiling away while Rain soaks in the sun - that is until clouds cover the sky and Rain romantically shields Krystal from the rain (ironically enough) with a shirt tied around her head.

Super Junior Kyuhyun cast for 'The Days'; making it his 3rd musical this year

Super Junior Kyuhyun is getting musical casting one after another as he is confirmed to perform for 'The Days' musical which will open in October.

This year alone, Kyuhyun has successfully finished his musical stages for 'The Moon That Embraces the Sun', and the most recent 'Singin' in the Rain', where he both played the lead roles.

In addition to this growing list of musicals, Kyuhyun is announced to play the role of 'Mooyeong' for the musical 'The Days'. His character description is witty and free-spirited Blue House security guard and a friend of Jeong Hak.

Here's the list of main characters and the actors:
