2PM lands on cover of Japanese magazine ‘Hanako’ for 3rd year in a row

2PM has landed on the cover of popular Japanese magazine Hanako for the third year in a row.
What’s especially notable is that the popular weekly women’s magazine has only featured people on its cover a few times. The 2PM members were the first Korean artists to grace the cover of the yearly ‘Korea Special Edition’ in 2011, which sold out. Last year, 2PM and their brother group 2AM were both featured on the cover.
The upcoming 2013 ‘Korea Special Edition’ featuring 2PM will be released on February 14th, making 2PM the only artists to have ever made Hanako’s cover for three consecutive years.
Hanako’s editorial department commented, “2PM are loved for their Korean albums as well as their Japanese music, and each of the six members have fans of different ages. In the third year since their Japanese debut, 2PM have confirmed themselves as a talented group, and they’re making a boom here. With their Tokyo Dome Concert coming up in April, many are looking forward to 2PM’s growth as artists.”
JYP Entertainment stated, “The fact that 2PM has graced the cover of Hanako for the third year in a row indicates their hot popularity there. Considering K-Pop is popular in Japan, we’re happy that 2PM became the first Korean artists to be featured on the cover, especially for three years. We’d like to express our thanks to the fans who love and support 2PM.”

TVXQ's Yunho Does Seven Takes Of Wire Action Without A Stunt Double For 'Queen of Ambition'

Jung Yunho took part in a wire action scene, regardless of the risk of injuries.

For the car accident scene in the episode of SBS’ ‘Queen of Ambition’ that aired on the 22nd of January, Jung Yunho volunteered to take part in the wire action scene himself.

On this day, Baek Do Hoon (Jung Yunho/U-Know Yunho) hears that his ice hockey team was broken up and goes to confront his father Baek Chang Hak (Lee Deok Hwa). Though Baek Do Hoon blocks his father’s car to talk about it, Baek Chang Hak doesn’t listen to him. Baek Do Hoon, who chased after Baek Chang Hak’s car on foot, gets hits by a car and gets his body thrown in the air. Later, Baek Do Hoon hears that he isn’t able to play sports anymore because of his accident.

According to a representative, Jung Yunho volunteered to participate in the wire action scene himself. He stated, “For the car accident scene, Jung Yunho participated in the wire action scene seven times,” and “Though most actors prefer to let a stunt double take over because there is a risk of injury and because wearing the equipment is uncomfortable and painful, Jung Yunho took on the scene himself, showing a passion for acting that befits a rookie actor.”
