JCE decided to apply an summer update to their game, for which they declared 4minute as the perfect fit.

Stills and video taken on set were recently shared on Internet community boards; the CF itself was filmed in selca fashion and took an entire day to record.

KARA's new song Go Go Summer could set a new record next month. They have only released 4 songs in an 11 month period, but already have the potential to surpass BoA's record.
Kara has officially 3.2 million downloads for the digital sales of their first three Japanese releases: Mr., Jumping and Jet Coaster Love. This is an amazing achievement considering they debuted just last August.
BoA who currently holds the highest downloads for a Korean singer, who through 11 years and 7 songs has achieved a record of 3.65 million downloads. Kara has almost reached that landmark with just 3 songs. Everyone is anticipating for the official records to be published for their 4th song Go Go Summer which was released on June 29.
This song, on Japan's biggest music website Rechoku for July's monthly chart, for ring tone full version, ring tone, video hits, free melody, reached 1st on all four categories. And also scored high on other categories as well. Once the official records for Go Go Summer's July's achievements are recognized, it is only time that a new record would be set.
As for other Korean artists that follow, SNSD has 1.65 million downloads with 4 songs. DBSK / TVXQ has 1.55 million with 5 songs.

Following its first script reading a few weeks ago, MBC’s newest sitcom ‘High Kick 3, Counterattack of the Short Leg‘ will officially begin filming on August 10th.
According to a representative from the show, PD Kim Byungwook has been working non-stop with both staff and cast members to perfect the acting and the script.
The cast consists of Ahn Nae Sang, Yoon Yoo Sun, Yoon Kye Dang, Seo Ji Suk, Hong Sun Chang, Lee Jong Suk, Krystal, Park Hasun, Kang Seung Yoon, Julian Kang, Park Ji Sun, Lee Juk, Yoon Gun, Go Young Wook, Baek Jin Hee, Kim Ji Won, and many others.
While the cast has already drawn a high level of interest for ‘High Kick 3′, it’s been revealed that the drama will be filming in New Zealand. Although the main cast members will not actually take part in the filming abroad, netizens were surprised nonetheless since there haven’t been many daily sitcoms to invest in international shots like this.
The show’s predecessors, ‘Unstoppable High Kick‘ and ‘High Kick Through the Roof‘ have both been big hits and so viewers have high expectations for ‘High Kick, Counterattack of the Short Leg.’

Popular SBS variety show, ‘Running Man‘, will be airing a special episode featuring members of Korea’s hottest girl groups.
The special, which will air over two weeks on August 7th and 14th, will star miss A’s Suzy, T-ara’s Jiyeon, and f(x)’s Sulli and Luna.
PD Cho Hyo Jin of SBS’s ‘Running Man’ spoke through Star News and revealed, “‘Running Man’ was recorded with girl group members that are currently in high school for the past two days at the Wootdali Model Village.” This female high school student special features a ‘pairing race’ where the ‘Running Man’ members get paired with girl group members while wearing uniforms from the 60s and 70s.
‘Running Man’ PD Jo Hyo Jin remarked that the cast members welcomed the guests with open arms. “Their faces shone because of the girl group special,” he said. “The filming carried on with a happy atmosphere. Song Ji Hyo put up a great performance, as well.”
Netizens already received a hint about the episode’s shenanigans through fan-taken pictures, which revealed the girls getting piggyback rides from the ‘Running Man’ cast members. Looks like SBS managed to create yet another heart-pounding episode for this urban-action variety show!
When asked how the idea came about, PD Cho said, “The movie ‘Sunny‘ has been making waves so we came up with an idea of bringing back things we did back in the day so that the whole family can watch and enjoy together. We have a lot of fun scenes planned with missions where the members will definitely feel the generational differences with each other.
He ended by saying, “There’s also a surprise reversal in the end, so please look forward to it.”
On SBS’s “Strong Heart”, f(x)’s Krystal revealed a shocking story about how she almost killed her figure skating partner, Lee Dong Hun, while practicing for “Kiss & Cry.”
Krystal stated, “While practicing, my partner could’ve been killed.”
She elaborated, “For the lift, there is a technique in which the guy lifts the girl up and turns her. It’s called a Necklace Lift and you have to close one leg around the partner’s neck and body to turn around. While practicing for this maneuver, the blade of my skate came across his neck.”
She continued, “The blade is as sharp as some knives, but my partner luckily felt the blade as it crossed over and immediately avoided it, preventing a disaster. If I had applied just a bit of pressure, it would have been a horrible accident.”
In response to the news of this accident, Lee Dong Hun only stated, “As a reflex, my neck avoided it.”
When addressed with the topic of the partners’ disagreement, Krystal said, “That really happened because we have a good and comfortable relationship, but no one wants to believe that.”
Hopefully, no injuries occur during their next practices as they continue to bring out excellent performances!
