“Dream High” ranks at #1 for its time slot

KBS 2TV’s “Dream High” has ranked on top as this week’s most popular drama for the Monday/Tuesday time slot.

Analysts AGB Nielsen Media Research revealed that ”Dream High” pulled in a 17.6% viewer rating, a 0.9% jump from last week. It’s speculated that the stat increase was due to Suzy and Taecyeon’s surprising kiss scene.

A high viewership rating is also expected for next week’s episode, as fans are curious to see which direction the love triangle between Suzy, Taecyeon, and Kim Soo Hyun will take.

T-ara’s Eunjung takes selcas with a bloody ‘Jason’

Thanks to the show’s all-star cast, fans are treated to many behind-the-scenes photos and selcas from the set of KBS2TV’s “Dream High“.

On February 7th, T-ara’s Eunjung revealed a photo of herself with her castmate 2PM’s Wooyoung. She tweeted,

“With Jason, who has great presence. The [drama] site belongs to him kekekekeke The staff and I couldn’t tell whether it was a gag concert or a drama kekeke

I got Jason’s approval. Uploading one more picture *-_- keke“

Fans commented, “Jason & Baek Hee?? Where’s Pil Sook?? ^__^” and “cool girl & handsome guy~~”

Though we don’t know why Wooyoung’s head is bleeding, we’ll be sure to find out in a future “Dream High” episode.

4minute’s Hyuna pulling up f(x)’s Krystal’s shirt sparks lively discussion

A picture involving 4minute’s Hyuna and f(x)’s Krystal has been firing up the internet.

Involving a recent set of photos uploaded on an internet discussion board, netizens have been battling each other by arguing in favor of either idol, as the photos in question show Hyuna pulling forcefully on Krystal’s shirt.

The photos were taken during the filming of Lunar New Year’s special, “King of Idols“, and the two girls are wrestling each other for a game that was played in a swimming pool.

Netizens are questioning the reason behind Hyuna’s action of trying to pull off Krystal’s shirt. In the pictures, you can see that Krystal’s shirt has been taken off halfway, unintentionally revealing her bikini. They commented, “Hyuna doesn’t seem to have sound judgment. Why is she doing something like this? I don’t understand”, “She’s not just clutching on her shirt. She looks like she wants to take it off”,and “Isn’t it hard to judge Hyuna’s action based on the pictures that were taken momentarily?”

Past photos of f(x)’s Krystal revealed

If there’s one thing that netizens delight over, it’s when they discover old photos of their favorite celebrities.

Netizens found some shots from Krystal’s child modelling days, and immediately noticed how her younger self looked very much the same.

One netizen jokingly commented, “This isn’t a recent photoshoot, right? She looks exactly the same!”, while others added, “She looks like a doll!,” and “The Jessica and Krystal siblings were lucky with their genes!” The shots were from a self-help book created for elementary school students.

KARA to revive their Korean schedule

After returning to their Japanese schedules last week, KARA has announced that they’ll be tending to their Korean activities as well, starting with leader Park Gyuri’s attendance at the “Alpha & Omega” press conference on February 10th.

After meeting with DSP Media on January 27th, the group decided to fulfill the commitments they’ve made prior to the dispute. The continuation of the team, as well as the status of the lawsuit, will be discussed at a later date.

On February 8th, a representative confirmed, “Gyuri will be attending the interview at the press conference on the 10th.“ The girls will also be participating in fan signings, CF recordings, and many other activities over the coming weeks.

4minute’s HyunA and After School’s Lizzy to graduate from high school

4minute’s Hyuna and After School’s Lizzy will be graduating from their respective high schools on February 9th.

Earlier today, Lizzy tweeted,

“Tomorrow is my high school graduation ㅜ.ㅜ…. It’s bittersweet…. that it’s already my graduation….“

Meanwhile, Cube Entertainment has confirmed that HyunA will be part of the 25th graduating class from Seoul Korea Art High School. Unfortunately, the idol won’t be able to receive her diploma in person due to her schedules in Thailand.

Cube Entertainment revealed,

“HyunA is very sad that she was unable to attend her high school graduation due to her overseas schedules, which were planned in advance… She will immediately be given her diploma when she returns from Korea.”

HyunA was accepted into Konkuk University’s College of Art Culture and will begin her freshman year soon.

Brave Brothers calls and applauds T-ara's Hyomin as a 'beautiful girl.'

Brave Brothers revealed on the 7th through his Twitter, "I've thought of wanting to work with T-ara's Hyomin and this time we got to work together. Hyomin truly is a Beautiful girl!"

After the posting on Twitter, netizens commented, "I want to hear the Hyomin and Brave Brothers song," "I want to work together, too," and expressed envy.

Meanwhile, Hyomin and T-ara were anointed as a partner to work on the Brave Brothers fifth special project. Brave Brothers and T-ara's single "Beautiful girl" will be released through online music sites on the 10th.

T-ara Hyomin’s review and photos of her experience of the musical ‘Tears of Heaven’

T-ara’s Hyomin has left a raving review of her experience of popular musical ‘Tears of Heaven‘ accompanied by a couple of self taken photos of her experience there.

Hyomin held the interest of many fans as she simlply tweeted the words ‘Tears of Heaven’ onto her twitter. Revealing her love of the musical, Hyomin then expanded on her earlier tweet. “‘Tears of Heaven. I came to the National Theater to see the first performance of the musical! I watched the performance pushing down my feelings of anticipation because people told me that anticipation only brings great disappointment…But as expected, it was was well worth all the anticipation! If i had to summarize my experience in one line, it would be ‘I received a taste of Tears of Heaven’”.

Hyomin also added,“Also, yesterday, I even got the chance to meet the composer Frank Wildhorn and Yoon Gong Ju unnie face to face. As I saw them, I became overwhelmed with memories of being a high school student and listening to their music while studying vigorously.”

Concluding her review, Hyomin tweeted,“Anyways… The genre of ‘musical’ is so charismatic/fascinating. There is no reason for people to not like this musical, they simply have no choice but to fall in love with it.”

Hyomin also tweeted pictures of her experience at ‘Tears of Heaven’.

Among them were photos of her ‘Tears of Heaven’ brochure as well as proudly taken pictures of her alongside Frank Wildhorn and Yoon Gong Ju.

Many celebrities along with Hyomin such as Lee Yo Won, Goo Hara, and Lee Boram have seen ‘Tears of Heaven’, which has been pulling in much interest and popularity among many.

T-ara’s Hyomin to collaborate with Brave Brothers

Earlier, we reported that T-ara would be collaborating with hit composer Brave Brothers for a new digital release. Recently, Brave Brothers posted additional details through his Twitter, which revealed that the collaboration was actually just between him and T-ara member Hyomin.

On February 7th, he tweeted, “I’ve always wanted to work with T-ara’s Hyomin once, and finally received the opportunity to. Hyomin is truly a ‘Beautiful girl!’”

As soon as his tweet was posted, fans of both the idol and producer have been buzzing over whether the new single would be titled, “Beautiful Girl“.

Looks like we’ll just have to wait for the single to drop on February 10th in order to find out!
