T-ara says goodbye to their Aircrew staff

On the Dec. 15th episode of Mnet's T-ARA 'Dream Girls', T-ara finally said goodbye to the international aircrew that has mentored them.


For their 'International Air Crew Challenge', they went through various training for Emergency Water Response, English Language, Attending to a customer, and paragliding.

After they have successfully passed all the tests, their mentor held a party for them. Tears poured as T-ara realized they had to say goodbye to their seniors who took care of them and taught them well. After going through rigorous training over the span of 2 months, their mentor has commented on them.

"We were worried at first how T-ara will handle the training, after-all they are just beginners. But after seeing them concentrate and work hard, we were moved by the passion that they were showing. We knew then that they werent taking it lightly and that they are decided to finish the training course" said their mentor.

T-ara said, "We were immersed in the training program and now we know how hard it is to work in this line of job. We admire the aircrews who attend to every passenger's needs kindly. Now we understand the hardships that these men and women go through. "


The producer even weighed in, "I'm amazed by T-ara and the determination they show. Even if they make mistakes, they brush it off and recover from their mistakes, learning from it."

KARA’s Jiyoung and Supernova’s Sungje’s “Merry Love” MV released!

A few days ago, we reported that Supernova’s Sungje and KARA’s Jiyoung would be releasing a new Christmas single. Well, the music video for their duet, “Merry Love”, has finally arrived!

Produced by Park Geun Tae, the song has a bright, festive tune, which is well complemented by the vocal harmonization of Ji Young and Sunje.

The 2010 Melon Music Awards was held on December 15th at the Hall of Peace in Kyunghee University, and many top K-pop artists were in attendance.

The awards show begun in 2009 and took its place as one of the big four music award ceremonies in South Korea, alongside Mnet Asian Music Awards, Golden Disk Awards, and Seoul Music Awards.

The “We Got Married” website has released another clip of the Khuntoria couple today.

Nichkhun had directed a “NU ABO” music video recently for his younger sister, Sherleen, to learn the steps, and it was shown in last week’s episode of “We Got Married.”

Netizens find Tiara's bright orange outfit on YAYAYA performance racy and embarrassing

Tiara are once again having another controversy and the center of attention.

On their comeback performance last 11th of December at MBC "Music Core" they performed their title track "YAYAYA", along with their performance they performed in a bright orange costume which is attracting a lot of attention.

Their costume was bright orange and was body hogging which was also a short shorts that clearly showed their body lines, it seemed to be awkward to watch the girls dancing with their tight outfits.

netizens commented, "Their outfit was very racy and embarrassing", "Doesnt the bright color and tights burn your eyes?" showing their negative response towards Tiara's performance and outfits.

T-ara cries during their goodbye air crew party on “T-ara Dream Girls”

During the recording of the last episode of the ‘International Air Crew Challenge’ segment on “T-ara Dream Girls“, T-ara broke down in tears as the last successful candidate was revealed.

For this challenge, T-ara received water emergency response training, English lessons, customer relationship skills training, and paragliding training. After making clumsy mistakes in every episode, the members expressed, “After directly having a try at it, it is most definitely not an easy job to do. Those in this workforce are admirable.”

The members became attached to their mentors, who helped them and took care of them during the tough training these past two months, and couldn’t help but cry during the goodbye party with their sunbaes.

Their air flight sunbaes expressed, “At the beginning, we were worried that the unprepared T-ara members would think lightly of life as part of an air crew. We were moved when we saw T-ara change and saw them passionately working hard.”

They continued, “We hope this was an opportunity for them to understand a different life to theirs, and hope that through this, their mind for taking care of others will have expanded. We will always be supporting T-ara and they can always call us to buy them food.”

Many viewers have been anticipating the results of who the last standing air crew candidate would be.“They made lots of mistakes, but having received English lessons from John Park, they all took the air crew test enthusiastically and the members are looking forward to the results,” stated the producer.

The episode is set to broadcast on the evening of December 15th.

MV teaser for KARA’s Jiyoung & Supernova’s Sungje “Merry Love” revealed

Recently we reported that Supernova’s Sungje and KARA’s Jiyoung will be releasing a new single titled “Merry Love” on December 16th. Recently, a video teaser for the upcoming MV was released.

Supernova’s agency, Maru Entertainment, stated, “On the 16th, Sungje and Kang Jiyoung will reveal their duet track, ‘Merry Love.” The track was reportedly produced by composer Park Geun Tae.

The two groups have been busy promoting in Japan, both ranking on Japan’s Oricon Singles chart and achieving a high level of success.

The two members added, “We wanted to prepare a special year-end present for our fans. Through this unique opportunity, we’d like to spread the potential of K-POP.”

There’s no official word yet regarding plans of promoting on Korean music shows, as Supernova will be heading back to Japan on the 21st for their individual concert.

f(x)’s Victoria on the possibility of becoming a real couple with 2PM’s Nichkhun

Fans of the ’Khuntoria’ virtual couple all want these two idols to date for real, and the sentiment exploded after 2PM’s Nichkhun revealed on an earlier episode of SBS’s “Strong Heart“ that he often wanted his time on “We Got Married” to not just be for show. In short, Nichkhun admitted that he would be happy to have Victoria as his girlfriend!

But what are her thoughts on being a real couple with him?

During a recent appearance on “Strong Heart”, Victoria confessed, “Honestly, I’m happy.”

When asked about the possibility of her actually dating Nickhun, Victoria replied, “He’s charismatic and has manners, plus he’s handsome. If such a guy were to be your boyfriend, who would say no?”

Yet MC Kang Ho Dong was dissatisfied with her answer, and demanded a straight-forward response. Victoria pouted, ”Oppa, why do you always do things that don’t exist?”

The celebrities continued their round of questions by asking whether the two contacted each other outside of “We Got Married” recordings. Victoria answered, “When we’re performing at the same venue, we text each other to be careful on stage,” earning the envy of the rest of the studio.

f(x)’s Victoria shows off her flexibility

f(x)’s Victoria showed her ‘folder-like’ flexibility on a recent episode of SBS’s “Strong Heart.”

Victoria revealed, “I attended a world-famous dance school that was extremely hard to enter. I first auditioned for it in elementary school. One of the judges asked me to give them my leg, so I did. They stretched my leg up to my ear and then took my other leg and stretched it to my other ear. They then asked me to fold my back, so I did. That’s how I passed the audition.”

She concluded, “I sometimes sleep while doing the splits.”

She continued, “When I first joined f(x), my Korean wasn’t that good so I used formal speech with everyone. I even told Sulli to have a good night in formal speech even though she is seven years my junior. One day, I was sleeping with my legs stretched out, my back bent, and my eyes open. I could see Sulli’s bed from my position and she randomly caught my gaze. She got so scared, she almost cried. Since then though, we got a lot closer.”

4minute releases first full Japanese album, “DIAMOND” + audio tracks

On December 15th, 4minute released their first full-length Japanese album “DIAMOND“.

The album contains Japanese versions of their Korean hits ‘MUZIK‘ and ‘I My Me Mine’, as well as four new tracks, ‘Hide and Seek’, ‘Can’t Make Up My Mind’, ‘Already Gone’ and ‘December‘.

“We view this full album to be a good turning-point of 4minute’s popularity in Japan, as the first ever Korean girl group to advance into Japan,” stated Cube Entertainment.

4minute will soon begin active promotions for their album in Japan.
