T-ara delivering fan service while promoting "Gisaeng Spirit" nationwide

T-ara are making surprise visits with fans all across the country.

T-ara will and has gone directly to hold surprise events at movie theaters showing "Gisaeng Spirit" until August 15th. There, they are signing "Gisaeng Spirit" movie posters and CDs as a gift, along with taking Polaroid pictures with fans.

Today T-ara will be at one theater at 5:00 PM for 20 minutes and then move onto the next theater at 6:00 PM and meet with audiences for 25 minutes.

"Gisaeng Spirit" is about the spirit of a child that possesses another person's body and commits gruesome murders. Lee Hyungseok, Han Eunjung, and Hyomin play the lead roles.

Krystal of f(x) is overwhelmed at the highest score in the history of Kiss and Cry

In the episode of Kim Yu Na’s Kiss and Cry that aired on the 7th, the fifth competition that picks the best four teams took place. In the competition, the partipants performed with the step technique.

HyunA revealed to weigh 39 kg during her “Bubble Pop!” promotions

It was recently revealed that HyunA had lost up to 5 kg (11 pounds) to reach a weight of 39 kg (89 pounds) for her latest comeback track, “Bubble Pop!”.

An agency representative stated, “HyunA (164cm) was normally around 42-44 kg, but she went down to 39 kg due to stress and exhaustive training for her second solo promotions.”

Although she threw in a lot of hard work, HyunA’s “Bubble Pop!” promotions was forced to conclude prematurely as the Korea Broadcasting and Communications Review Committee (KCC) ruled that HyunA’s choreography and outfits were “too sexually suggestive” for public broadcast.

“I wish they had viewed the performances as just performances. K-Pop is quickly trending around the world and this, along with the limits to its genre, may lead to restrictions in freedom of expression.” said her agency. Other representatives of the popular music industry also added, “We can’t understand why her song suddenly became an issue when it was in the middle of its promotions.”

Meanwhile, it was announced that on August 10th, the PDs of the three public music programs will be given a chance to express their own opinions about the issue of sexually provocative material on music shows with the committee members of the KCC.

“On the 10th, we will be exchanging opinions with broadcast representatives regarding this matter. PDs and other broadcasting staff are also allowed to participate; who will represent the companies is solely up to the choice of each. Instead of actively taking part in the discussion, people can also choose to send in written documents of their opinions. There is no obligation to participate.”

The Korea Communications Standards Commission marked 4Minute’s Hyun Ah as being seen as sexually suggestive on the stage. Hyun Ah lost weight down to 39kg once when she was preparing for the song.

An official of Hyun Ah’s agent said, “Her weight is usually 42~44 kilograms, but when she was preparing her song, she worked so hard and lost some weight and weighed 39 kilograms.”

Hyun Ah’s first solo ‘Change’ was a big hit and she wanted her second solo to be more successful than ‘Change’.

Despite Hyun Ah’s hard work, Hyun Ah was flagged as being sexually suggestive. Her agent said, “We hope that they look at this performance as a performance. K-POP is now very popular all over the world, and this kind of limitation will stifle free expression.”

Meanwhile, the Korea Communications Standards Commission said, they will listen to the opinions from producers of three land-based music programs.
