T-ara’s Hyomin as…Mickey Mouse?
Earlier today, T-ara’s Hyomin posted a series of cute photos showing off her Mickey Mouse hairstyle.
In the photos, Hyomin is seen in a van wearing a black and white polka dot cardigan while sporting a twin bun hairstyle that makes her resemble the friendly cartoon mouse that we all know and love.
She posted,
“Mickey Mouse? I think my cuteness has gotten more extreme lately…. I haven’t lost my mind. The reason is…. I don’t know either >0<>“

KARA’s Jiyoung rejects 2AM’s Changmin’s affections
KARA’s maknae Kang Jiyoung rejected 2AM’s Changmin’s proposal to her on the January 8th episode of KBS 2TV’s “Entertainment Relay.”
Reporters met with KARA and actor Juwon at the set of their fashion photoshoot. The topic of Jiyoung’s recent selcas was brought up, and the reporter mentioned that netizens were amazed with her beauty. Jiyoung shyly explained, “They were just one out of 20 pictures I took.”
Regarding Changmin’s statement about waiting for her until she graduates from high school, Jiyoung replied, “It’s nice, but it’s okay. I like people that sing well and are fun, but I think there is someone out there who is a bit more fun and sings better.”
T-ara at Inkigayo
2011 has finally opened up, and Inkigayo promises to be another fun and exciting show filled with amazing performances from the top singers of Korea.
Due to Jung Yonghwa’s involvement with CNBLUE’s Japanese concert, F.T. Island’s Lee Hongkiwill be taking his place as MC today.
The Take 7 nominees were GD&TOP (‘High High‘), Seo In Young (‘Into the Rhythm‘), Park Hyoshin (‘Hungry For Love‘), Brown Eyed Soul (‘If It’s the Same‘), T-ara (‘Yayaya‘), SISTAR(‘How Dare You‘), and KARA (‘Jumping‘). Unfortunately, Seo In Young, Park Hyoshin, Brown Eyed Soul, and KARA were not present today.
TVXQ, SECRET, INFINITE, and JOO made their comebacks, while newcomer Dal Shabet debuted andF.CUZ returned with their follow-up promotions. Other performers include GD&TOP, T-ara, SISTAR, IU,JJ, Tim, December, $unny Side, and Jung Jae Wook.

KARA Leader Gyuri "Acting by using both Korean and Japanese was fun"
On the 7th, 5 member Korean girl group KARA were guests on TV Tokyo’s news variety program “MADE IN BSJAPAN” (BS-JAPAN). Leader Gyuri did PR for their drama “URAKARA” (TV Tokyo), which starts on the 14th,“Acting by using both Korean and Japanese was fun. It’s not something you can see every day; you can see a new “KARA” through this drama!”
“MADE IN BSJAPAN” is a variety program that has started with K-POP and does various entertainment news stories from throughout Asia. This day was titled “KARA kara Otoshidama Special!” [A New Year’s Gift From KARA Special!”]. The 5 members of “KARA” were guests and had various talk segments and games. The 5 girls showed the dance to their 2nd Japanese single “Jumping”, after that, they did some drama recording as well. The program only announced the girls would be on the show through twitter and their fanclub, but there were still around 300 fans standing outside the studio in the freezing cold to get a glimpse of the girls.
“KARA” debuted in Korea in March 2007. The 5 members are: the leader Gyuri, Seungyeon, Hara, Nicole and Jiyoung. In August of last year, they debuted in Japan with their single “Mister” and released “Jumping” in November. Both of those songs, as well as others, such as their best album and Blu-ray disc were in the top rankings for amount sold. This popular group is becoming a symbol in the K-POP boom.

2PM Nichkhun's older brother, Nichan, has become an extracurricular teacher for 4minute. Nichan, who is an active VJ and MC in Thailand, went to South Korea on the fifth of this month. By transforming into 4minute's Thai extracurricular teacher for cable channel E Channel's new TV program '4minute's Mr. Teacher,' he has made his official debut into the public entertainment world of South Korea.
'4minute's Mr. Teacher' is a reality program declaring 4minute's overseas advancement, and in order for them to become perfect Hallyu stars they will have handsome teachers from Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, and other nations teach them their country's language. As their Thai teacher, Nichan plans to act like 4minute's secret lover. Nichan stated, "I'll of course be playing the role of a teacher spreading awareness about Thai culture, but I'll also be revealing stories about my younger brother Nichkhun."

On KBS 2TV "Entertainment Weekly" aired on January 8 (MC Shin Hyun Joon, Lee Si Young), Kang Ji Young stated, "I like someone who can sing well like Chang Min Oppa, but I wonder whether there's someone better out there."
Chang Min once showed his affection and said, "I only wait for Kang Ji Young to graduate from high school." Kang Ji Young faltered a bit then said, "It's fine but no, thank you. I like people that sing well and are fun, but I think there is someone out there who is a bit more fun and sings better."

Yoon HyungBin -- who became famous for his character 'Wang BiHo' on his Gag Concert corner -- revealed that out of every idol he had made a remark against, he was the most apologetic towards 4Minute's HyunAh.
On January 4th, Yoon HyungBin featured on KBS 2TV's 'Fresh Sources' and confessed on his corner of KBS 2TV's Gag Concert 'Garden Balsam School' he was "the most apologetic to 4Minute's HyunAh for making her cry once by the end of his remarks" during his role as Wang BiHo.
June of 2010, HyunAh was a guest along with her fellow 4Minute members when Wang BiHo made the comment "You've already withdrawn from Wonder Girls, just withdraw again from 4Minute."
