Goo Hara doppelganger impresses on Mnet’s ‘Serenade Operations’

On November 9th, a female college student named Shim Hyun Jung (21) participated on Mnet‘s ‘Serenade Operations‘ to recapture the heart of her ex-boyfriend. She surprised the audience with her tall figure (172 cm) and her striking resemblance to Kara‘s Goo Hara.

Singer Kim Jin Pyo ,who guested on the show confessed, “She’s a person you can’t help but stare at because of her pretty looks… What kind of man would dump a woman like this?”

With the help of professional musicians and dancers, Shim Hyun Jung prepared a performance of SISTAR19‘s “Ma Boy“. She impressed the audience with her singing and dancing skills, and her performance was labeled as the sexiest serenade to have come out of ‘Serenade Operations’ so far.

Mnet’s ‘Serenade Operations’ is a variety show where selected applicants put on the perfect serenade (with the help of experts in the fields of music and dancing), in hopes of conveying their love for someone special in their lives.

4minute’s Gayoon to cameo in upcoming drama, ‘I Am a Flower, Too’

With anticipation building for MBC‘s upcoming drama, ’I Am a Flower, Too‘, expectations got kicked up another notch when staff revealed that 4minute‘s Gayoon will have a short cameo in the first episode.

Gayoon will be playing the role of a high school student who has a short exchange with ’Cha Bong Sun’ (Lee Ji Ah). It will be her first attempt at acting. The role required her to don a school uniform, and Gayoon expressed a student-like enthusiasm for her role.

“Since my labelmate Kikwang put a lot of effort into it, it was something I was looking forward to,”Gayoon said. “I wore a school uniform for the first time in 3 years and it was a different feeling. I hope the drama gains much love, just like its loveable plot.”

The first episode of ‘I Am a Flower, Too’, starring Lee Ji Ah, B2ST‘s Kikwang, and Yoon Si Yoon, will air on November 9th.

T-ara releases dramatic MV for “Cry Cry”!

Despite the saturation in the K-Pop scene these days, T-ara managed to rise above their competition with music dramas that broke the mold of the conventional music video.

After impressing the public with a 10-minute mini-drama for “Roly Poly“ earlier this summer, these girls are outdoing themselves with a music drama for “Cry Cry“.

Fans have been buzzing about the dramatic plotline previewed in the video teaser, as the girls ditched their cutesy act for fierce females with guns.

Towards the end, you would be greeted by a teaser for their other title song “Lovey Dovey” which will be released at a later date to avoid confusing the fans as it’s a totally different song genre, accompanied by another 15 minute music video to wrap up the mini drama.

T-ara is set to release their fourth album later this month, and is scheduled to make a comeback on November 18th via Music Bank.

T-ara releases Cry Cry Music Video!

T-ara finally releases their mini drama movie through their Cry Cry music video.

The 1at part of their 30min MV publicly released today. The MV was filmed in Busan. T-ara and Cha Seungwon acting skills in this MV is receiving praises and positive feedback.

The 2nd part is expected to be released this weekend.

T-ara's "Cry Cry" music video shot over 96 hours being revealed today

T-ara's "Cry Cry" drama-format music video will be revealed online to the public today.

The first 15 minutes of the "Cry Cry" music video will be revealed today, November 9th, at 1:30 PM KST. The video was shot in Busan and follows the design of a real drama. Cha Seungwon, Ji Changwuk, Jiyeon, Qri, Eunjung and Hyomin all act in the video, as well as Lee Jaeyoung.

The music video will be revealed in two parts with the first part of "Cry Cry" today and the second part being revealed online over the weekend.

T-ara and Cha Seungwon had a tough schedule for shooting the video. The shooting was over the course of 4 days (96 hours) with only 2 hours of sleep overall in a hotel. Cha Seungwon even praised the T-ara members acting skills despite their state.

The "Cry Cry" music video will be released in 2-parts, and T-ara will reveal a music video a month later for "Lovey-Dovey" which is a 180-degree different from "Cry Cry".

Meanwhile, T-ara's "Cry Cry" is about a sad farewell to a lover with a strong representation and meaning from the heart. The strong guitar sounds mixed with the passion combines to make a brilliant song.
