MBC Music Core is back this week, featuring all your current favorite hits and its new batch of MCs!

It was surely one jam-packed music Saturday!

[News] Music Core performances from October 30th

MBC’s Music Core returned with their weekly broadcast today, this time with a brand new look as viewers finally got to see permanent MCs in place for the first time since SNSD’s Yuri and Tiffany left their posts a few months ago.

So let’s give a big welcome to SHINee’s Onew and Minho, T-ara’s Jiyeon, and miss A’s Suzy, as they will form the new four man MC team for Music Core from today’s episode onwards.

There were comeback stages today for SNSD, 2AM, and Psy. Elsewhere, F.T. Island, SHINee, B2STand Se7en had their goodbye stages, while rookie group Co-Ed had their follow-up stage.

[Interview] Advance 3 months in Japan Kara '5 members' Energy was impressive'

Even on street in Shibuya fans shouting "I Like you guys" or "I wanna look like you guys" Oricon Greed? That's the attitude!.. Japanese fans enthusiastically said "Hope you get in Kohaku.. Really want to see you(Kara) to perform on Japan's Best traditional stage"(*Some of Japanese Fans Testimonies*)

Exclusive Interview was conducted on 23 October evening at Seoul Jamsil stadium while waiting(at waiting room) to perform for 2010 Asia Song Festival.

The concern about whether or not they will have success for their debut in Japan last July suddenly turned into confidence. This is due to the fact that they successfully entered the Oricon chart top 5 which makes them crowned as first foreign girl group to be in top 5. Members suddenly have the confidence and want to be able to perform at Kohaku uta Gassen.

Sports Seoul conducted an exclusive interview to resolve the curiosity about Kara's success, excitement emotions and their Japan activities.

How do you feel about your popularity in Japan?
If we walk along the street in Shibuya, I began to realize that a flock of fans started to gather to see us. Because of tight schedule in Japan, we don't even have spare time to watch TV. Very often when we happen to turn it on and we are on it, we realized that there are indeed many people like us and we feel excited about it. (SeungYeon)

Second Single is greatly anticipated.
Actually to do promotional activities in both Korea and Japan at the same time has become a burden, but we're looking forward to it. This time a new song is to be released first in Japan then Korea. Nevertheless, the song will still be fresh and new in Korea. We are afraid but also curious about what kind of results that will come out in both Japan and Korea (Hara).

What do you(all members) think are the factors for your popularity in Japan ?
This is always what people are most curious about. We did ask Japan's side (officials) about this and they said the energy is overwhelmed when 5 distinct characters are together as one. This kind of group is hard to find in Japan. Japanese fans don't just "LIKE" us but we often heard they want to "LOOK ALIKE". The fans are also very interested in our fashion styles. Or in other words, they want to be as close(similar) as us in all ways. (Gyuri)

How do you compare Korean Fans and Japanese Fans?
Japanese fans is considerably more on the active side (outgoing and direct). Because they can't see us that often, they tend to be quite straight-forward. For example, when we have event they would come and wear the exact same clothes as our stage performance outfits. That may be Japanese fans culture but we're quite surprised to see how skillful they are as the way they dressed is really like how we dressed on stage as if you can just perform on stage with that outfit. Big expectation to top oricon chart at #1?
We do not have in mind that we have to or must get #1. We are just as good as newcomer. We are still new and at learning stage. (Jiyoung)

Even so, it seems like you have set a goal for Japan activities.
We have mentioned that we want to be in year end kohaku uta Gassen (Year End Japan NHK special program which usually best stars appear/invited). It seems to have become a symbol wanting to secure a place in order to perform in Japan's Traditional stage. We hope korean fans will cheer for us if we are able to stand and perform on that stage. [News] T-ara has received three invitations to foray into the Japanese market

T-ara has an impending deal with one of Japan's largest agencies, it was said.

Kwon Changhyeon, the director of media for T-ara's company Core Contents Media visited Japan on the 28th to meet with one of Japan's largest agencies. There, he discussed T-ara and foraying into Japan. T-ara is already very popular in Japan, and their agency has been contacted three times from different Japanese agencies and companies concerning advancing into Japan.

Media director Kwon Changhyeon said, "T-ara members are busy with individual activities in movies, dramas and CFs, so coordinating a time for a Japanese advancement is difficult and is currently delayed. But for now, each member is doing their individual activities (movies, dramas) and they'll all be finishing soon for their 2nd album promotions, which is in the final stages and they are preparing hard for. After that, we will decide on Japan."

T-ara's 2nd album is almost ready, but their members have been busy with personal activities. Jiyeon is in the drama, "Jungle Fish 2" and Eunjung is in the movie "White" and then shooting a drama called "Dream High" (tentative title). T-ara recently changed from 6 members into 7 members with the addition of Ryu Hwayoung.

[News] T-ara to debut in Japan

With the recent news of various Korean groups expanding into the Japanese market, you can add another to the list as T-ara is now planning to debut in Japan.

Earlier today Core Contents Media stated in a press release that they’re currently working a contract with a yet unnamed major entertainment label to expand T-ara into the Japanese market. Core Contents Media plans to make an official announcement once the contract is sealed and the girls are close to wrapping up their second album.

With both KARA and SNSD enjoying much success in Japan, it’s a good time for Korean girl groups to expand into Japan.

[News] Presents from KARA Santa, invitation to the LIVE show through au project

au Cellphone Running Support Service 「au Smart Sports Run＆Walk」, will use KARA to promote 「au Santa Letter of Challenge」, starting November 1st.

「au Smart Sports Run＆Walk」 is a cellphone service using a GPS function which is able to record time, mileage, and calorie consumption. The 「au Santa Letter of Challenge」 which about to start is a project in which customers who use the service can get various presents based on lottery, the type of the present is based on each distance with up to 100 types of present available.

During the campaign, KARA members will dress up like a Santa Claus offering the users with various contents. They will also open a "Challenge LIVE" Twitter account for the users to post support messages to. Follow this account, it will report the distance completed at the 「Run＆Walk」 event for 19 days starting Nov. 1^st, at the beginning of December 15 pairs-30 persons will be be invited through the lottery to attend the Limited KARA LIVE Event. [News] HyunAh thinks she's "Irreplaceable"

If you can still remember, it was announced that 4Minute's Kim HyunA, alongside with Kim Taewoo andSNSD's Sunny will make a visit to Invincible Youth, the show they're all formerly casting in, in celebration of the show's anniversary.

While having a good time bonding with with the new and original members of the show, one of the casts asked HyunA about how she view the new members of the show. Witty as she truly is, Kim HyunA jokingly stated: "I still think that no one can replace my character," that caused laughter amongst people from the set.

The show started sweetly and dramatically as the former members were hugged and welcomed by the original members of the show. However, some conflicts with the new and former members cannot be avoided.

While quietly standing beside Sori, HyunA blurted out a statement and said: "On stage, I thought you're very cool and sexy, but it seems like its not. Anyone who joins Invincible Youth becomes the same." Having her saying it without hesitations made all the cast laughed so hard once again.

HyunA also gave some clothes to the popular dog known as "Poochi" which garnered a lot of interest.

On the other hand, Sunny also expressed her joy upon know that "Pureum," the show's infamous cow, was already pregnant.

After School's JooYeon also uploaded photos of the happy 'Invincible Youth' family on her Cyworld, expressing her happiness.

Meanwhile, let us all look forward to watching this fun episode, and perhaps, wish that she could really return on that show because, no matter what happens, our Maknae PD's cute and straightforward character is really"Irreplaceable."

[News] Teaser photos of Nichkhun & Victoria revealed from TV show

Korean broadcasting company MBC has unveiled a teaser photo of Nichkhun and Victoria from an upcoming episode of reality TV show "We Got Married."

The photograph showed four separate pictures of the two singers smiling and making funny faces taken at a beach in Incheon.

Known as "Khuntoria" among fans, 2PM member Nichkhun and f(x)'s Victoria became a make-believe married couple on season two of "We Got Married" starting June 26, joining couples, Brown Eyed girls' Ga-in and 2AM's Jo Kwon and CNBLUE's Jung Yonghwa and Girls' Generation's Seohyun.

Nichkhun, whose full name is Nichkun Buck Horvejkul, is a Thai-American singer who was discovered and trained by JYP Entertainment. He made his debut as one of the rappers for six-member boy band 2PM.

Victoria, a Chinese-born singer is the leader of the five-member girl group f(x). The group made their debut with the single album "LA chA TA" in September 2009.
