TVXQ Changmin films promotional clip for Konkuk University

Recently, it becomes a trend for idols to promote their universities.

The latest would be TVXQ's Changmin who recently seen filming a promotional video for Konkuk University. He was seen with other students at the filming site in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul on June 29.

Changmin is enrolled as a movie major in Konkuk University's Arts and Design School.

Meanwhile, SHINee Minho and Dal Shabet's Subin also became publicity model of the said university.

SHINee releases the making-of-footage for their OST song "Green Rain"

SHINee released a making-of-footage for their OST of MBC's 'The Queen's Classroom' which used "Green Rain" as its song.

This is literally a joint effort among them because SHINee asked the help of the cast of the show to star in the video with them.

Super Junior's Siwon appears topless on 'Infinity Challenge'

Super Junior's Siwon made a surprise appearance on the latest 'Infinity Challenge'.

If that's not enough to get fans going, he did it topless. The June 29th episode was a 'Minority Report' special, and while the cast was looking for a hint for their mission, they came across the Super Junior members playing basketball.

Luckily for viewers, it was a hot day and Siwon had his shirt off. When the other Super Junior members noticed the cameras, they hurriedly put their clothes back on. However, Siwon was definitely not embarrassed to show off his amazing body, taking his time to put his shirt back on.

The 'Infinity Challenge' cast members commented, "Siwon was the last one to put on his clothes. Usually, the people with the best bodies do it last."

Taemin gets jealous over Na-Eun's past kiss with another guy on 'We Got Married'

SHINee's Taemin got more than a little jealous over Na-Eun's kiss from the past.

On the June 29th episode of 'We Got Married', the A Pink member admitted that she received a kiss on the cheek before from her costar on 'Childless Comfort', Lee Do Young.

Taemin responded, "Who was your costar and where does he live?" Na-Eun tried to distract him with a comment about his hair, but he insisted, "Don't change the subject. Who is it? Is he the guy you shot the wedding pictorial with? How old is he?"

The maknae SHINee member revealed during his solo interview, "I'm a jealous and selfish person. I didn't know [about the kiss], and when I found out, I got angry. It was like sipping a drink and before finishing it all, having someone else just take it from you."

Super Junior's Heechul joins Instagram?

Super Junior's Heechul is no longer on Twitter but no worries as it appears ELF can now keep an eye out for him on Instagram!

Heechul updated his Instagram profile picture with a never-before-seen-photo of him with his cat. So, how do people figure that it's really Heechul? B2ST'sJunhyung and Son Dam Bi are both following the Instagram account, which gives some credence that it's the real Heechul.

SHINee treated us to their OST of MBC's 'The Queen's Classroom' yesterday, and although the MV is still not here, we're getting a look at the making-of footage!

As mentioned a few times before, these charming boys will be featuring in the MV of "Green Rain", their song for the drama. They've recruited the help of the cast of the show to star in the video with them, making  this a special joint effort.

[Single Review] 4minute "Is It Poppin?"

After their monster hit "What's Your Name?", 4minute asks away with their latest questionnaire single "Is It Poppin'?". In what appears to be a move to ride off the success of  "What's Your Name?", this track, released all by its lone self, is a solid continuation of their last track in terms of sound and concept.

When 4minute first released their teaser for "Is It Poppin?", we were all pretty thrown off because of the ambiguous track title. Literally the track's title translates to either "(Do you) Like Water?" or "Is the Water Good?". In context of the song's lyrics, it's the latter. So how does this relate to the "Is It Poppin?"? Well, the phrase itself "Is The Water Good?" is a slang expression used by Koreans to ask if a particular place, in this case a club, is a place where cool and attractive people hang out. The idea behind that is where there is "good" water, you'll find "good" fish. So the analogy here is good water : good fish :: cool club : hot people. 

A ha! That teaser with Sohyun fishing at a lake wasn't so random after all! 

Well, that's where "Is It Poppin'?" comes from. The idea behind is quite cool because they're able to take that phrase literally in Korean and splash all sorts of aquatic imagery along with their concept.

For a track called "Is It Poppin?", you, like me, probably expected a club banger. If that was the case, then you were trolled, too. Here we have a stripped back, mid-tempo and almost melancholic pop song. The girls are actually confronting their love interest and urging him to choose them over a poppin' club. 

Brave Brothers (Kang Dong Chul) does not make the most cutting edge music. He's a bit basic in terms of composition, but he is an excellent pop songwriter. Whereas many of his competitors have their music rely on done-to-death "oohs" and disjointed lyrics, Brave Brothers is capable of writing very conversational lyrics. He writes in such a way where it almost seems like dialogue cut out of a script from an everyday young Korean. It's no wonder that they've become so successful with their music. Their music is so relatable to Koreans. "Is It Poppin?" takes it a step further and makes use of popular slang. 

In terms of performance, 4minute are on top of their game. Once upon a time, it would have been somewhat acceptable to label 4minute as 4+HyunA a.k.a. ForHyunA, but not anymore. (Blame the game, not the players.. Cube, we looking at you.) As of "What's Your Name?", I've learned all of the members' faces and names who aren't HyunA, and they're all just as beautiful and talented, too. Just kidding, guys, I practically suffocate myself with K-Pop.

A part of me still misses the distortion heavy pop styling of "I My Me Mine" and shoe-pointing screamo-pikachu pop like "Hot Issue". But this 4minute is way better, and it looks like "Is It Poppin'?" is poppin' its way on becoming 4minute's one-way ticket to top tier-dom.

Donghae and Eunhyuk's music video for "I Wanna Dance" tops China's YinYueTai V-Chart

Donghae and Eunhyuk topped China's YinYueTai V-Chart!

Their music video for their Japanese single, "I Wanna Dance" was released back on June 18. Despite tough competition, it ranked at #1 for the week of June 17 to June 23 for YinYueTai's Korea chart. The video accumulated a score of 98.56 for the week and received 7.4 million views on the site.

T-ara N4 and Chris Brown reveal a gist of living a "Countryside Life"

T-ara N4 and Chris Brown's collaboration is one of the much-awaited western-eastern fusion.

cr-KNOTCH (aka TIMELESS), the producer, teased the netizens with a 15-second preview video of Chris Brown and T-ara N4's "Countryside Life".

4minute, Sistar and Super Junior to appear in Happy Together 3

4-minute's Hyuna and Gayoon, SISTAR's Soyu and Dasom and Super Junior's Kyuhyun and Henry are going to appear in the Idol Special of Happy Together 3.

A KBS representative revealed, "Hyunah, Gayoon, Henry and Soyu participate in the recording of Happy Together 3 on June 28 along with others."

He added, "This is an "Idol Special" episode with the theme "dark horse member of idol groups". Guest idols of this episode are 4-minute's Hyuna and Gayoon, SISTAR's Soyu and Dasom and Super Junior's Kyuhyun and SJ-M's Henry."

"Since this is the first time since debut to appear in the show, it's being anticipated a lot. Soyu and Gayoon were together during their trainee days. Aren't you curious about the behind the story that is going to be revealed?"

He also shared that during the topic of the "dark horse in their groups", stories that aren't revealed in other shows will be tackled on the episode.

This special "Idol Episode" of Happy Together 3 airs on July 4.
