T-ara’s Eunjung, miss A’s Suzy show off their friendship on set

T-ara’s Eunjung and miss A’s Suzy revealed two adorable shots they took from the set of the highly-anticipated “Dance of the Year” competition from KBS’s “Dream High.”

The pictures were released by Eunjung’s agency and they highlight the girls’ real-life friendship, which differs greatly from the catty rivalry they share in the drama.

The staff revealed that the two can often be found on set, laughing and sharing acting tips.

Look out for their two teams for the dance battle scheduled for February 1st at 9:55 PM KST.

“Dream High” to host ticket giveaway for their mini-concert

Earlier, allkpop reported that the cast of KBS 2TV’s “Dream High” would be holding a special mini-concert on February 24th. Well the producers have some very exciting news for fans – “Dream High” will distribute free tickets for the event!

Considering how the OST concert for “Secret Garden” concluded with great success and profit, it’s unusual that the “Dream High” staff decided to proceed with a free concert.

Representative Yang Geun Hwan explained, “We have no thoughts on making money through a concert.” He explained that their goal is to return the love they’ve received from the viewers through this concert.

That’s not to say that they didn’t consider making a profit. Yang asserts that if they did go down that route, they would’ve used the profits garnered to buy instruments for students who are like the Kirin Arts High School students. Ultimately, however, the staff decided that free admission was the best way to go.

Starting February 10th, the producers of “Dream High” plan to distribute tickets through a lottery system after viewers register on their official website.

The ‘Dream High Concert’, which will be held at Goyang Aram Nuri Hall, will feature 2PM’s Taecyeonand Wooyoung, miss A’s Suzy, T-ara’s Eunjung, and IU. Naturally, the concert will also guest non-singer idols as well, like actor Kim Soohyun, producer/singer/actor J.Y. Park, and actor Uhm Ki Joon.

Producers are planning to film the concert and use the footage for the special broadcast on March 1st.

Han So Ah, the Victoria look-alike, releases new songs

Singer/songwriter, and Victoria look-alike, Han So Ah has been gaining interest for her song, “I Need Time”.

Han So Ah released her song, “I Need Time”, on January 28th, and it has been ranking at the top of various music charts. Despite strong competition from TVXQ and Secret, her song refuses to budge from its current ranking.

The song “I Need Time” is about the feelings a couple gets right after they decide to breakup. The song boasts of famous musicians, such as the famous ‘SHINee rap teacher’ JQ, guitarist Go Tae Yong, and bassist Park Soon Chul.

In her other song, “Even Today You”, Han So Ah reinterperted comedian Kim Ki Wook’s “Thank You for Laughing” with her own feelings so that listeners could hear the thankfulness and warmth towards love. It is said that Han So Ah has personally written both of these songs.

Han So Ah’s representatives stated, “To go against the idol singers and the sexy female singers, we decided to dominate with only vocal skills. We created this single so that the song matches with Han So Ah’s voice. We hope to approach the public with a fresh feeling.”

MBLAQ’s Lee Joon cheers on 4minute’s Gayoon

MBLAQ’s Lee Joon, who is participating in MBC’s New Year’s Special, “Idol Swimming and Track Championships“, has been gaining attention by cheering on 4minute’s Gayoon.

4minute’s maknae Sohyun tweeted on January 31st, “It seems a little forced but thank you for cheering~kk. I hope the current MBLAQ album is daebak kk. 4minute also fighting!”

In the picture included with the tweet, Lee Joon is wearing a tracksuit with striped sandals, while sitting on the floor holding a sign, “I love you Huhkakka“, rather unwillingly.

This picture has been taken playfully, as 4minute asked Lee Joon to cheer on Gayoon, who was participating in the “Idol Swimming Championship” on the 31st.

Fans commented, “I love you Huhkakka? Is our Changsun (Lee Joon’s real name) throwing fans away? ㅠㅠ“, “Lee Joon was a 4minute fan? kk“, and “I’m so looking forward to watching the idol swimming championship“, showing their anticipation for the special.

2PM, SHINee, Super Junior, Big Bang, KARA, After School, f(x), and other top idol groups have flown to Pattaya, Thailand!

For the upcoming Lunar New Wear, SBS has filmed its New Year’s Special, “King of Idols“, in Pattaya. In “King of Idols”, the idols get to pick the the idol King and Queen through various games.

Also in the broadcast, the idols’ unique airport fashion is revealed, everything from the “dandy English boy look” to the “no-bottom look” that’s getting quite popular.

After School’s UEE, who was a competitive swimmer throughout high school, also reveals her fantastic freestyle and swimming turns, and her dives and mermaid-like swimming techniques have gotten praises from everyone.

“King of Idols” starts by capturing the idols’ airport fashion, and reveals bare faces, private talks, and dance battles, while airing the breathtakingly competitive games and never-before-seen sides of the idols. Looks like we’re all going to have a quite exciting Lunar New Year!

T-ara’s Eunjung tries to sleep anywhere

T-ara’s Eunjung revealed another set of pictures of her dozing off in various locations through herTwitter.

The actor/singer previously headlined for similar pictures, showing off her hectic work schedule, and although she was determined to “stay awake and show only her prettier sides,” it seems she was unable to escape the demands of her busy “Dream High” schedule.

Netizens expressed their concerns by commenting, “How tired must she be to sleep like that?” and“She must be working really hard for the filming.”
