f(x) makes their comeback on M! Countdown

After a long absence, f(x) is finally back with their brand new first studio album, “Pinocchio” and starting promotions once again on tonight’s Mnet’s M! Countdown.

Their electronic pop dance track features a powerful yet restricted beat with a unique guitar sound that brings out the diversity in f(x)’s voices.

Their lyrics also add an interesting element to the performance in that it compares the process of getting to know their crush to the process of constructing their own Pinocchio doll.

DSP Media reaches a compromise with KARA’s Nicole, Seungyeon, & Jiyoung

KARA’s Nicole, Seungyeon, and Jiyoung have officially reached a compromise with DSP Mediatoday, finally putting an end to their months-long lawsuit.

On April 28th, a representative of the industry spoke through SPN and stated, “Under the arbitration ofTae Jin Ah, the lawyers of KARA’s three members and DSP Media have reached a final compromise.”

Tae Jin Ah said, “I have received signatures agreeing to a compromise from both parties; please congratulate this achievement. I would like to thank all of the fans that have worried over the situation.”

DSP Media announced, “All disputes between DSP Media and KARA’s three members have been resolved, and we have all reached a compromise where KARA will be able to continue promoting as five.”

They continued, “We discussed mainly about KARA’s future, and an agreement was reached where the three would drop their lawsuit without any conditions. We would like to thank our fans for supporting the girls without change, and promise to work hard to show improvement.”

The girls took a photo at the backstage of M! countdown earlier today and it was shared on M! Countdown's official Twitter account.

Beast, 4Minute, Sistar and more face off in the National Idol Sport Championships

Korea’s top idol stars gather together to face off in the National Idol Sports Championships in honour of their hometowns.

Beast’s Lee Kikwang, T-ara’s Jiyeon, 4Minute’s HyunA and other idol stars consisting of 48 participants in total took part in KBS’s National Idol Sports Championships held on the 20th of April at Bucheon Stadium.

These 48 idol stars were divided into teams depending on their hometowns like Seoul Team, Gyeonggi Team, Kangwon Chuncheon Team, Cheolla Jeju team and many more. They competed in various events ranging from physical fitness to athletic sports.
Participants who competed that day come from Beast, MBLAQ, 4Minute, T-ara, Sistar, Miss A, Z:EA, Teen Top, Dalmatian, Dalshabet , Jewelry and more. Lee Hyun , Tim and Kim Sang Hyuk also took part.

Events included sit ups and holding on to horizontal bars for the longest time. These events bring back school day memories. There were also 50 m dash events, inline skating and relay races. Idols participating showed off true competitive spirit ,all hoping to win a medal.
Although they do not come from the same groups, they come from the same hometowns. This made the idols show stronger friendship towards each other and give each other moral support. This touching scene become a positive topic of discussion after the recording.

With the desire for victory and competitive spirit of 48 idols, along with hosts Park Myung Soo, Kim Shin Young, Kim Tae Hyun and KBS announcer Lee Kwang Yong, this program has been made even more interesting.
The National Idol Sports Championships will be broadcasted on the 30th of April at 5.10 PM KST.

4Minute's Kim HyunA on MTV K'S Top 10 Sexiest Female Idols

MTV Korea has just released their official list of Top 10 Sexiest Korean Female Idols.

4Minute's sexy icon, Kim HyunA, prosperously managed to take the 5th spot on the list. Other artists including soloist, Lee Hyori, and co-CUBE artist, G.Na Choi also managed to take high ranks on the said list. Here's the complete copy of the ranking:

T-ARA Released BTS Video for 'Heva Clonia' CF!

Fans stunned by graceful BTS photos from Victoria & Sulli’s “Smoothie King” CF shoot

On April 27th, internet community boards began circulating photos of f(x)’s Victoria and Sulli at the filming site of their CF for “Smoothie King“.

Dressed comfortably in shorts and a T-shirt, Victoria can be seen holding her leg high above her head in a way that netizens thought made her look like a graceful ballerina. Meanwhile, Sulli expressed a jubilant charm that brought a bright feel to the photos.

T-ara’s Soyeon & Ahn Young Min release duet MV, “Song For You”

After the release of their teaser earlier this week, composer Ahn Young Min and T-ara’s Soyeonhave finally released their duet, “Song For You“.

The track is a part of his signature album, ‘A-Family‘, which represents the five years he trained to become a singer. Although he’s a composer now, he revealed that it was because he had such strong foundations that he was able to reach the position he in now.

“Song For You” was, of course, composed, written, and arranged entirely by him. The song features a combination of a warm acoustic guitar with a piano melody to create a soft folk and medium tempo ballad track.
