‘KOICA’s Dream’ releases photos of Nichkhun and Taecyeon volunteering in Tanzania

Last month, 2PM‘s Nichkhun and Taecyeon had left to Tanzania through MBC‘s ‘KOICA’s Dream‘ in order to participate in volunteer work.

The two 2PM members were there with other KOICA members from the beginning of October for about 20 days. The team performed various volunteer tasks such as fetching water, creating wooden vessels to move emergency patients, creating fog collectors, solar panels, fixing up the elementary schools, and looking after the health of the local residents in Tanzania.

Taecyeon joined Nichkhun a little later, but the two were so busy that they could barely greet each other. Nichkhun greeted Taecyeon with a shovel and pushed him over to the solar panel installation sites when he arrived. Nichkhun had hidden himself from the general public because of his accident, and he took up the opportunity immediately when he was recruited. He said, “I couldn’t go anywhere and I was home for 2 months. When I was recruited, I accepted immediately. I was able to understand why people look for this kind of hardship.

When asked if he was planning to return to broadcast with his community service, he said, “No, I don’t have any special plans to“. He added, “For a while, if chance permits, I want to do community service where people won’t be able to see or know about.

Nichkhun spotted with fellow 2PM members in Thailand

Although Nichkhun will be joining the rest of 2PM for their upcoming ‘What time is it?‘ concert in Shanghai, Nichkhun was recently spotted with the rest of his fellow members at the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand.

Earlier today, 2PM arrived in Thailand as they’re scheduled to film advertisements for Thailand’s dictionary program “Easy Dict“. Nichkhun was joined by his fellow members and member Wooyoung was also spotted sporting a new red hairstyle.

It’s good to see Nichkhun with his fellow members once again.

SHINee looking back to their first concert of arena tour in Fukuoka through LOVE FM interview

SHINee had a special showcase for Dazzling Girl event in Fukuoka few days ago and DJ Anna from Stylish Life of Fukuoka LOVE FM met them afterwards for a short interview. The recorded interview was aired on 6 November.

Before airing the interview, DJ Anna shared her thought on the boys as there was around one year gap since she last see them. She said that SHINee didn't change a bit as they're still the same boys with great attitude. Not only just with good manner, despite having the interview right after their event ended, they seemed to be in high spirit and answered her questions earnestly.

Parts of the recorded interview:

How do you feel after finishing the first event?
Onew: It was enjoyable.
Key: I was quite worried as this is our first day but there is really a lot of fans that came so I think I had enjoyable time.

The fans were so happy to have you back in Fukuoka. Did such thought ever reach to you?
Jonghyun: We're glad to be here. Fukuoka was the first place where we held the concert for arena tour so it's a memorable place for us. We even talked among us about coming back here, so we're excited to be here.

The last time you're in Stylish Life was when you had just released Japan debut single, 'Replay - you're my everything-'. Then you had various activities including releasing singles and having a Japan Tour. You experienced so many things in a short time.
Jonghyun: Within that short time we were able to have a few releases and got the chance to meet our fans. We'll be working hard afterwards as well and wish to meet our fans again.

Is there anything about Japan that you particularly like?
Jonghyun: Surely, it's none other than food.
Key: During arena tour, we were able to have a taste of famous food for each region that we went, so that's something that we really enjoyed.

Memories from the first stage of arena tour in Fukuoka.
Taemin: Many fans came and supported us. I still remember them singing to our songs and I am grateful to them.
Jonghyun: During the first stage, we're really nervous, worrying on how fans would react to us. But then we're really happy to see so many fans came, so we managed to give our best for them.

Was there anything that change between concerts in the tour?
Key: Personally, it'd be my hair style. We had the tour around two months, my hair was different for almost everyday. I tried all kind of hair styles. Since I will participate in musical in Korea, my next hair is going to be blonde.

Performing at various stages, was there any episode or happening that you'd like to share?
Taemin: The staffs prepared a surprise event to celebrate our first year anniversary which made me realized that it's been a year already. A lot of memories came back to me at that time. Then I thought that I should work hard from now on as well.

Is there anything else that you'd like to share?
Onew: On 12 December, our new single "For 1000 years, always be by my side..." will be released. Please look forward to it.

The interview ended with Key introducing the coupling song, 'Run With Me'

Key and Minho's most needed item for a live performance were revealed!

During the guesting of SHINee in Happy Music, SHINee’s interview with the two MCs was continued after it left off with Jonghyun’s answer that water is his most needed item for a live performance.

The video clip opened up with SHINee’s Key revealing that soju (Korea’s version of vodka) is what he needs the most. The MCs could not hide their surprise and asked, “Won’t you get drunk by drinking this?” However, the mischievous Key expressed that soju did the opposite for him and explained, “Because when I drink, it makes me relaxed.”

Following that, Minho revealed that his most needed item (or food actually) was beef don (beef with rice)! The most athletic member out of the five expressed that the meal helps him to maintain his energy on stage, which is a must.

The MCs then wittily commented that though the beef don is a simple meal, for Key it could just be an appetizer; an appetizer for soju!

To find out what Onew and Taemin need the most for a live performance, watch out for next week’s broadcast! Also, do not forget to catch SHINee’s appearance on Happy Music Live, November 10th at 3pm! For more information, please refer to this thread.
