'EXO's Showtime' achieves its highest viewer rating yet especially among women in their teens to forties

EXO's popularity knows no end as their reality show 'EXO's Showtime' achieved its highest viewer rating yet, rising to #1 among cable shows in the same time slot!

According to TNms, MBC Every1's 'EXO's Showtime' achieved a 1.902% viewer rating, breaking its own record in viewer ratings and landing at #1 among competing cable channel programs.

A rep stated, "This week's episode unveiled EXO's practice room for the first time, and there was a heightened anticipation for it, so we expected the viewer ratings to increase among teens... It achieved a high viewer rating among teens and female viewers in their twenties and even forties, achieving #1 among cable channel programs. It is encouraging that 'EXO's Showtime' is relevant to various demographics of viewers."

Eunhyuk and Donghae to release 1st Japanese album 'Ride Me' + D&E concert

Super Junior's popular duo, Eunhyuk and Donghae is finally releasing their first ever Japanese album titled 'Ride Me' with a title track 'Motorcycle'.

Prior to that, teaser photos of Eunhyuk and Donghae have been uploaded on their official site and Facebook account. Both are looking neat in once concept, wearing suits and tie while the other shows their cool and chic look. The Japanese album 'Ride Me' is going to be release in Japan on February 26.

In addition to that, Eunhyuk and Donghae both tease fans on twitter that they are in the middle of preparation for 'D&E' concert in Japan.

The duo has been popular in Japan since 2012 and that's proven by their previous hit releases such as Oppa Oppa and I Wanna Dance. They've also successfully held fanmeetings and other event which certifies that they are hit in Japanese fans. Meanwhile, check out theteaser photos below:

Song Ji Hyo and Choi Jin Hyuk have a sweet kiss for 'Emergency Man and Woman'

tvN just released 2 new photos of Song Ji Hyo and Choi Jin Hyuk from "Emergency Man and Woman". 

The photos were taken in a church, where Oh Chang Min (Choi Jin Hyuk) and Oh Jin Hee (Song Ji Hyo) had their wedding, and the couple shared a sweet and passionate kiss. 

"Emergency Man and Woman" is revolved around a divorced couple who later has a reunion after 6 years in an emergency room at ahospital. The first episode will be broadcast tonight at 8:40pm kst.

Heechul talks about sexy girl groups + likens celebrities to products for consumers

JTBC aired a new episode of 'Ssul Jeon' on January 23 and talked about the recent trend of sexy girl groups, such as Girl's Day and AoA.

Kim Gu Ra said he watched Girl's Day's dance for "Something" and thought they were on the ground more often than they were standing.  Kang Yong Suk brought up the main point of their choreography in which they slip aside the skirt with the long slit down the side to reveal one leg.

Heechul gave his own thoughts on this recent trend.  He said, "Girl groups these days almost all have sexy concepts.  What became a controversy was AoA's part in their 'Miniskirt' dance when they pull up the zipper on their mini skirts.

Ailee's 'U&I' to become the official theme song for the '2014 S/S Kobe Collection' and 'Tokyo Collection'

Ailee is scoring big in Japan!

Her hit song "U&I" has been chosen as the main theme song for Japan's biggest fashion events, '2014 S/S Kobe Collection' and '2014 S/S Tokyo Collection'. Both fashion shows open in March, and it just goes to show how popular Ailee's getting in Japan. The Kobe Collection brings in about 12,000 people, and the Tokyo Girls Colleciton brings about 16,000. About 100 models and celebrities will be showing fashion from about 30 brands.

Ailee will be coming on stage at the Kobe Collection and at the Tokyo Girls Collection stage to sing "U&I" in Japanese as well as her other hits "Heaven" and "I'll Show You". 

Her Japanese label said, "Ailee's explosive vocal ability and confident, intense performance are getting a lot of interest from young Japanese women. She sang about a woman's confidence in 'U&I', and her personality fits well with the two collections that are highlighted as the best by young women, so we decided to choose her song as our main theme."

SHINee's Key and Infinite's Woohyun to form a new sub-unit

Both SM Entertainment and Woollim confirmed that Key and Woohyun will form a sub-unit and have a debut around next month. 

From a representative they said both of them will come out and show a distinctive music and performance which is different from both groups usual styles. 

Woollim Entertainment merged with SM C and C last August and later renamed to Woollim Label. For Key and Woohyun collaboration both the agencies said this will be their first official sub-unit ever since they merged together. 

An official source said,"The album is likely to be released around February, and latest will be around March-April. They haven't decided on the team's name yet and currently preparing to record for the album. Please look forward to their collaboration". 

SHINee's Taemin releases MV for 'Prime Minister & I' OST 'Steps'

SHINee Taemin's OST 'Steps'  for KBS 2TV Mon-Tue drama 'Prime Minister & I' released its official MV today.
