Yoo Chun had a warm meeting with fans



JYJ's Park Yoo Chun held a fan meeting on a cold winter day.

On December 02, Park Yoo Chun has special events with Japanese fansHe received warm applauses from the fans when introducing his new drama 'Missing You' as well as the behind-the-scene stories. 

In a small part of the fan meeting, he used the items which were appeared in his previous dramassuch as hanging clip, yellow umbrella and winter couple gloves to take pictures with fans, leftspecial memories in fan's heart.

This time, the fan meeting intended to accommodate about 1200 people but the actual fansparticipating were 3 times bigger, justified the popularity of Park Yoo Chun and the drama"Missing You" in Japan.

2PM to release “Masquerade” in Korea



Idol group 2PM will be releasing its latest Japanese single “Masquerade” in Korea!

According to JYP Entertainment, 2PM will release its 5th Japanese single “Masquerade” in Korea on December 6th at 12PM KST. The single was first released in Japan on November 14th and made a marvelous record on both Tower Records and Oricon’s charts.

“Masquerade” has recorded #1 in Tower Records Singles Sales Chart for 2 weeks in a row and consistently placed within the Top 5 of Oricon’s Daily and Weekly Singles charts for weeks.

Victoria to release travel essay book on her Hong Kong and Macau trip



f(x)’s Victoria will be releasing her own travel essay book!

On December 4th, it was revealed that Victoria will be releasing a book titled “Victoria’s Hong-Ma ( Hong Kong & Macau)” which includes the singer’s recent travels in Hong Kong and Macau. The travel essay book contains pictures and various episodes that Victoria took during her trips as well as travel information and tips.

In the book, Victoria will also introduce her favorite spots in Hong Kong and Macao. A scannable QR code is included as well, allowing the readers to hear Victoria’s clear Chinese pronunciation of some locales, foods and landmarks.

Yunho cast in upcoming SBS drama



TVXQ’s Yunho has been cast in the new SBS drama, ‘Yawang’!

According to SM Entertainment, Yunho will be teaming up with Hallyu stars Kwon Sang Woo and Soo Ae in new Monday and Tuesday drama ‘Yawang’. Yunho will be attending the script reading sessions and start filming on set in the near future.

For the drama, Yunho will play the character Baek Do Hoon, an ice hockey player and a son of Baek Chang Hak from the Baek Hak Group. He possesses both a masculine charm as well as a truthful yet subtle personality. 

‘Yawang’ was adapted from Korean cartoonist Park In Kwon’s 21-part comic book ‘The President.’ It is about a woman, who overcomes poverty and becomes the first lady, and a man who sacrifices everything for her and the stories of love, betrayal and desire.

Helmed by producer Cho Nam Kook of ‘The Chaser’, the SBS hit series from 2012, the forthcoming drama will air as a follow-up to the ongoing SBS TV series ‘The Lord of Drama.’

1. Like The First Time. I was absent for one week and there was a lot I didn't know. So a new lead was put in. We also did rapping and it was brave feeling I enjoyed.

5. I bought six shoes. They're the same design. Stars, Wakka, Sonica (brands), I bought all of them.

Minho and Patti Kim practice their aegyo together on the Patti Kim Show



SHINee appeared as guests on the most recent episode of Patti Kim’s Show. The boys dressed in black and silver clothes, showing off their charisma as they performed one of their hit songs, Lucifer.

After a heated performance, they sat down for a talk with Patti Kim and host Shin Dong Yup. The chat started by praising the veteran singer Patti Kim. Key, who spoke last, said that Patti has a beautiful mind and earned a flying kiss from her. Taemin got to display his beautiful voice after being asked to sing Patti Kim’s “Once the April”.

The conversation continued to Minho’s aegyo. The members boasted about his aegyo sets, which Minho denied being good at. Minho then demonstrated a cute bbuing bbuing to Patti and received a bbuing bbuing back from her.

Near the end of the talk, the male host asked Patti Kim which member she would choose if she were to be young again. Patti Kim cleverly answered she would choose Key for Monday, Minho for Tuesday, Taemin for Wednesday, Jonghyun for Thursday, and Onew for Friday. The whole set exploded with laughter.

The talk ended with SHINee thanking Patti Kim for letting them become a part of her show. SHINee ended their appearance by performing their hit track Sherlock.

Leeteuk and Sangchu recruited to National Defense Public Relations


Super Junior‘s Leeteuk and Mighty Mouth‘s Sangchu have been recruited as workers in the National Defense Public Relations department.
Both Leeteuk and Sangchu were recruited first from the Ministry of Defense. The two did not formally participate in the auditions for the selection of the 4th round of National Defense Public Relations Workers, but were recruited directly from the Ministry of Defense.
Leeteuk will be leaving his original post on the 6th, and will be active as a National Defense Public Relations Worker. One of his new tasks will be working on the musical ‘The Promise‘ with Ji Hyun Woo and Kim Moo Yeol.

Super Junior ranks #1 on Japan’s Tower Records K-Pop Top 20 list for 2012


Super Junior has ranked #1 overall on Japan’s Tower Records ‘2012 K-Pop Top 20‘ chart. While2PM charted #1 on the singles chart, and Girls’ Generation charted on top of the DVD chart.
Tower Records released a total of 31 charts on December 4th for the year of 2012, including genres such as K-Pop, Japanese music, Western music, and Classical music. The charts were calculated with data collected up to November 30th. Tower Records commented, “In 2012, K-pop advanced not only in Japan and other parts of Asia, but all across the globe. Concerts were held all over America and Europe, and the popularity of the artists’ has increased.

Ailee and comedian Shin Bora sing “When You Believe” at ‘Healing Concert L’


Ailee and comedian Shin Bora held a collaborative stage on December 3 at Seoul’s Olympic Park.
The two vocalists performed “When You Believe” from Dreamwork‘s ‘The Prince of Egypt‘ soundtrack at ‘Healing Concert L‘. The concert was planned to show the true meaning of Christmas and included other singers such as, Kim Dong GyuKim Jo HanLee Seul GiJin Jung HoonKim Ha JoonHeritage Mass Choir, and more.

Yoochun has surprise meeting with Japanese fans



JYJ’s Park Yoochun had a surprise fan meeting with 1,200 Japanese fans in Yonsei University.

A representative of the agency said that “Japanese fans seemed to know the contents before it has even been broadcast in Japan. They responded actively to major scenes of the drama that were replayed in the fan meeting.”

Yoochun’s fans visited the shooting scene of MBC drama ‘I Miss You’ on the 1st before the fan meeting and encouraged the staff on the production team, giving them snack food and beverages.

C-JeS Entertainment said, “We thank fans for all their constant support of Yoochun and the drama.” Yoochun also said, “I'd like to express my sincerest thanks to the fans who made it all the way here in a cold weather. It was a great time together.”

Meanwhile, Yoochun currently plays detective Han Jung Woo in the Wednesday-Thursday drama series, ‘I Miss You’.

Poster for Super Junior Leeteuk’s new musical ‘The Promise’ revealed



On December 4, the official poster for the upcoming military musical ‘The Promise’ has been revealed. Asreported earlier, Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk has been confirmed in the upcoming production alongside actors Kim Moo Yeol and Ji Hyun Woo, who are also currently serving their mandatory military service.

‘The Promise’ will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Korean War. It is based on actual historical events and figures, such general Baek Sun Yeop and war correspondent Marguerite Higgins. The musical is scheduled to open in January 2013 at the National Theater of Korea.
