2PM to release a best-of album in Japan

Idol group 2PM have announced that they’ll be releasing a best-of album in Japan on March 14th.

The best-of album, titled ‘2PM Best in Korea 2008-2011‘, will be available in three formats: Regular Edition, Limited Edition A, and Limited Edition B. The two limited editions will come with bonuses like special tracks or a DVD. Depending on the edition, fans will be treated to “Move On” by Junho, “Alive” by Junsu, or a DVD containing footage from JYP Nation‘s Japan concert late last summer.

2PM have been enjoying a strong following in Japan, and they’ve ranked on the Oricon charts several times. The individual members have also been scooped up for local acting projects; Taecyeon was on the popular drama series ‘99 Boku to Star no 99 Nichi‘, and Nichkhun will soon make his cameo in the movie, ‘Ouran High School Host Club‘.

2PM will also be holding their six-day concert series at the Nippon Budokan, starting from May 24th and concluding on the 31st. Tickets will be available starting March 31st.

At this time, the group continues to take Asia by storm with their ‘HANDS UP ASIA TOUR‘.

Super Junior Attracted Taiwan! Great Success with ‘SUPER SHOW4’!

Super Junior, who has been meeting the fans all over the world through the world tour, ended ‘SUPER SHOW4’ in great success in Taiwan. 

Super Junior held ‘SUPER JUNIOR WORLD TOUR “SUPER SHOW4” in TAIPEI’ at Taipei Arena in Taiwan for four days (2/2-2/5) and thrilled audiences totaling 40,000 people. 

Especially, all seats were sold out as soon as the ticket sales began and Super Junior set a new record for selling out tickets in the shortest time ever in the history of concert in Taiwan. Also, due to as explosive response from local fans, Super Junior extended the concert date. Super Junior proved themselves as the king of global Korean wave by holding a concert at Taipei Arena 4 times and drawing the highest number of people as the first foreign artist.  

In addition, on February 1st, the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport was overcrowded with fans to see Super Junior and Taiwanese media such as ctiTV, CTV, TVBS, etc. reported the scene of Super Junior at the airport. 

Super Junior performed a total of 36 songs including hit songs, album tracks and each member’s unit stages. 

Since Super Junior’s 5th album, ‘Mr.Simple (released in August),’ has been at the number one on the Taiwan’s largest music website, KKBOX,’ for 25 consecutive weeks, the stages of the songs from the 5th album received an enthusiastic response from the audience. 

Moreover, Taiwanese fans presented messages saying “♥영원한 친구♥” and “♥♥SJ┽ELF〓No1♥♥” with glow sticks and card section and made a spectacular view by flying pearl sapphire blue-colored balloons. Also, they had a surprise birthday party for Kyuhyun on his birthday, Februrary 3rd.      

Meanwhile, Super Junior will hold ‘SUPER SHOW4’ in Singapore on February 18th and 19th.

On the 5th of February, she tweeted on twitter saying, "Today on Running Man the Charlie's angels and Charlie won! received a gold championship ring as a reward!" and shared a photo of her showing off her gold championship ring.

Hyomin was a guest on today's episode of SBS "Running Man" along with Go Ara and Lim Soo Hyang and the three beauties carried out the mission like "Charlies angels". The three angels were successful with their mission and they were given golden rings as prize for being the winners on the challenge.

T-ara sign a 1 billion won contract as "Excellent Chicken" models

T-ara have been chosen as exclusive models for "Excellent Chicken".

According to T-ara's agency Core Contents Media, on the 6th, T-ara signed a contract to be models for "Excellent Chicken" for one year. They were guaranteed 1 billion won plus royalties.

"Excellent Chicken" commented, "We chose T-ara as models because of their constant hits 'Roly-Poly', 'Cry Cry', 'We Were In Love', and 'Lovey-Dovey" have appealed to all ages from teenagers to people in their 60s. They are one of the most popular girl groups and have a variety of fans and a good image."

T-ara is scheduled to shoot a variety of different ads for "Excellent Chicken" as well as take place in different events. "Excellent Chicken" will also be selling T-ara merchandise as various stores.

In addition, "Excellent Chicken" plans to expand into different markets and believe that T-ara's image as a Hallyu star will help them.

T-ara will release their third Japanese single album "Roly-Poly" on February 29th and remain to promote for one month.
