SHINee takes #2 spot on Billboard’s ‘World Album’ charts with ‘Dream Girl’!

SHINee‘s third album ‘Dream Girl – The Misconceptions of You‘ has placed in the top 2 on Billboard‘s ‘World Albums‘ chart! ‘Dream Girl’ is currently #2 following Celtic Thunder‘s album ‘Mythology‘.

Ever since the album’s release on February 19th, it has been doing very well on music charts, even taking the #1 spot for Gaon‘s weekly category. The amazing success of the group’s comeback attests to the many fans who must have been waiting to see SHINee bring back their musical colors to the K-Pop scene.

In related news, SHINee’s ‘Dream Girl’ is charting on weekly music charts around the world as well.

T-ara’s Jiyeon and Hyomin are worlds apart?

Though T-ara‘s Jiyeon and Hyomin are both in Japan, fans are saying they look worlds apart in recent photos.

On February 28th, Core Contents Media revealed pictures of Jiyeon standing in the snow and Hyomin filming for her upcoming Japanese movie ‘Jinx‘. Jiyeon was in the middle of 3 feet of snow in Sendai, while Hyomin enjoyed the warm weather on the set of ‘Jinx’ in Fukuoka.

After seeing Hyomin in warmer weather, Jiyeon commented, “I miss warm places, and I want to see unnie really soon.”

Netizens responded, “Jiyeon and Hyomin’s pictures are funny“, “Cold and warm“, and more.

SHINee’s Taemin thinks he gained too much weight?

SHINee‘s Taemin ruffled feathers with a comment about his supposed “weight gain.”

On the latest episode of ‘SHINee’s Wonderful Day‘, Taemin went on an amazing 4-day trip to Switzerland to try out some extreme sports. During his trip, he found a public phone box that was completely different than the ones in Korea and tried to get in. However, there was so much snow around the phone box and he wore a padded jacket, so he had a hard time getting it to open.

In the end, Taemin joked, “I got stuck in the entrance because I gained too much weight,” which annoyed a few viewers. Since Taemin is well-known for his incredibly thin body, his comment made fans say, “If you gained weight, what does that say about me…“, “Can you please actually gain weight?“, “Stop being ridiculous“, and more.

Song Ji Hyo is positively lovely for ‘Yesse’

Song Ji Hyo set aside her tough and carefree image as the ‘Running Man‘ ‘Ace’ to become a lovely, feminine Ji Hyo that we don’t get to see too often these days.

The pictorial comes ahead of White Day (March 14th), which is a day that the boys give the girls candy in return for the sweets they received from the girls on Valentine’s Day. To match with the special day, the actress adorns feminine dresses and skirts, accessorized with bows, while she holds up props that remind us all to share the love.

This set of photos are actually from ‘Yesse‘s 2013 Spring collection and the actress perfectly pulls off the ‘romantic chic’ concept. The bright colors of the pictorial also highlight her cute charms making the “lovely” illustrations in the background seemingly unnecessary, given the obvious.

KARA stretch and work out in CF for K-Swiss

Earlier in the month, we reported that the ladies of KARA were selected as the new endorsement models for sportswear brand ‘K-Swiss‘. Now, the first CF featuring the KARA members was released and the girls set an example of what you should look like at the gym.

The ladies managed to look sexy and gorgeous even when they were stretching and working out. The CF listed their ages, and it’s hard to believe Gyuri’s already 26 when she still looks so young.

Super Junior’s Yesung and Kangin share a friendly new photo

Super Junior‘s Yesung and Kangin showcased their friendship with a new photo.

Yesung uploaded the photo above through his Twitter account, tweeting, “Two woon“.

The two look friendly in the photo and appear to be dining out for the night. Fans described the photo as a “charismatic two-shot” as the two idols look great.

Upon seeing the new photo, netizens commented, “The ‘cold’ charm of two men~“, “The two of them are eating together?“, and “If the seat next to them is empty, I’d sit there.”

On February 28, KARA released new album covers for their 8th Japanese single titled 'Bye bye happy days'

There are 3 cover photos for their new single. The girls dress in blue, white and yellow dresses, show off their sweet and lovely charm. With vintage background, fans are now curious what music genre they'll bring to us this time.

'Bye bye happy days' is planned to release on March 27.

SHINee becomes the new face of ‘Skechers’

SHINee, who recently came back with their new song “Dream Girl”, has been selected as the new face of sportswear brand ‘Skechers’ for its vivacious image. 

Skechers is popular between youngsters as the total sports brand since 2009. With SHINee as the model, they are planning to approach to customer with new and younger image. The group recently wrapped up shooting the advertisement, which will be aired starting March 7.

The sports brand, popular especially among young people, has launched the new line of of running shoes ‘GO RUN’, LIV’ highlighting light yet active features.

T-ara reveals Bunny Style MV!

After a long time of waiting, T-ara has finally released the music video of 'Bunny Style'. T-ara is back with another animal-themed concept, a bunny concept after Bo Peep Bo Peep's cat concept which was a big hit back in 2011.

                     The single will be released with 10 different versions and will be out in the market on March 20th.

SHINee to have "Dream Girl" Fansigning Event

SHINee will meet their ‘Dream Girls’. To commemorate their third album ‘Dream Girl’, the group will have a fansigning event which will be held at Shinsegae Department Store.

Date: March 3^rd 2013, 8:00 PM (KST)

Venue: Incheon, Nam-gu, Gwanggyo-dong, Shinsegae Department Store, Floor 5

100 ‘Dream Girls’ will be able to get their albums signed by SHINee on the fansigning event. The winners will be decided through lottery.

What does SHINee like to do during their free time?

                                                Idol group SHINee members revealed what they do in their free time.

During an interview, they were asked about the things they like to do when they are not doing anything related to their work. Key started with "I like recycling my clothes. Since I like fashion, I rip my shirts, and pants to make it more stylish and add details to it." 

Jonghyun revealed what he likes to do "If I have free time, I drive. Listening while driving is my thing." and followed by leader Onew "I need to improve my concentration so I do things that need focus. I play Rubik's cube or darts." 

Taemin then said "I spend my free time playing soccer with my friends at dawn. We talk about things that we haven't talked about since I am busy." Minho concluded the question with his answer saying "I usually play cellphone games. I play with Kyuhun hyung and I keep winning over him! We do really care about our ranks." revealing his passion for cellphone games.
