f(x)’s Krystal thanks fans for providing ‘High Kick 3′ staff with lunch

Fans are demonstrating that when it comes to their idols, they no longer want to give stuffed animals or small items — they’re concerned for their idols’ health, and seek to give them strength through good deeds, health supplements, and lunch trucks.

f(x)‘s Krystal was the latest celebrity to receive such a thoughtful gift, as fans visited her on the set of her sitcom, ‘High Kick 3‘, with an elaborate lunch truck for her fellow cast and crew.

On October 16th, Krystal updated her Me2day with two photos and thanked her fans for the support. She wrote, “I ate the food deliciously~~ Thank you so much ♥ Our fans are the best!!:)”

The banner over the truck says, “Whether you have long legs or short legs, come on over! Maknae Soojung is treating you to lunch!!!!!!!”

Fans spammed the comments section with the sitcom’s popular aegyo catch phrase, “Bboo-ing, bboo-ing!”

Hyomin speaks out about T-ara’s attitude controversy

T-ara was recently put on the chopping block for their disrespectful attitude at while performing at an event. A controversy swirled online and Hyomin decided to clarify once and for all what had really happened that day.

To recap, on October 14th, a netizen on an online community board had written, “Really disappointed in T-ara. They came to perform at a festival in Woori, and all they did was laugh and chat on their own while lip-syncing. Their mouths didn’t match up to the words at all… They really didn’t have any care for the performance.”

The netizen continued, “In the second picture, Jiyeon is staring at the floor and Qri is looking as if she doesn’t care while the MC is talking…”

T-ara’s Jiyeon was criticized earlier during the KBS ‘7080 Concert‘ for similar reasons.

Hyomin took to her Twitter to clarify, “For our ‘Why Are You Like This‘ performance, there are gestures we’ll make where it looks like we’re talking to each other. That is a part of the choreography. For ‘Roly Poly‘, we tried to make the stage look as fun as possible by laughing and playing jokes on each other. It’s a part of the performance. I think those things have caused such a misunderstanding.”

She continued, “ Although we are not perfect when we stand on stage, we are always grateful for the people who come to watch us. We know that we still lack a lot of things, so we promise to work hard. Please don’t misunderstand us.”

L’Arc-en-Ciel’s hyde reveals he accidently confessed his love to KARA’s Nicole

On October 14th, KARA performed on Asahi TV‘s ‘Music Station‘ with their latest single, “Winter Magic“.

Rock star hyde of L’Arc-en-Ciel sat down with the girls for a brief talk session, and shared an experience where he accidently confesse his love to Nicole.

hyde stated, “I met with quite the predicament when I was on the show last time with KARA. Nicole was in front of me and I accidentally bumped into her. In Korean, I was going to say, ‘I’m sorry,’ but I instead said, ‘I love you.’ I actually didn’t know until a while later about what I said. I was really embarrassed!”

Nicole responded, “I was surprised as well to hear ‘I love you’ after I said I was sorry for bumping into him. I was wondering what was going on but just brushed it off, thinking I heard wrong and that he didn’t mean to say it towards me. I was surprised as well!”

Hallyu stars rank high on Japan’s calendar sales chart

Hallyu is reaching all sectors of the Japanese entertainment market. Alongside the achievements made on the Oricon charts, Hallyu stars are also making their into the calendar market.

With everyone busily preparing to start a new year, fans are scrambling to purchase calendars of their favorite artists. According to Japan’s ‘Narinari‘, AKB48 is currently topping the Japanese calendar rankings with ‘AKB48 Official Calendar Box 2012 Cheer Up‘.

In second place is KARA with ‘KARA 2012 Calendar‘, which is comprised of pictures during their stay in Paris, France. Jang Geun Suk ranked in third and eighth with ‘Jang Geun Suk 2012 Calendar‘ and with his SBS drama, ‘You’re Beautiful‘. He’s the only star to have his name ranked twice in the top 10.

Eunjung experiences an embarrassing moment in public on ‘We Got Married’

T-ara‘s Eunjung experienced an embarrassing moment as a celebrity while visiting a street market on MBC’s ‘We Got Married’.

On the episode that aired on October 15th, after wrapping up their music video filming, Eunjungwanted to set aside a day to restore their health and called it ‘couple health day.’ She claimed that she could make a special tea to “restore her hubby’s health” and suggested to head out to the street market to get some ingredients with her husband, Lee Jang Woo.

As the young couple walked through the street market, the owners and workers paid much attention to both Lee Jang Woo and Eunjung.

Lee Jang Woo especially was quite popular among the women due to his handsome appearances on daily dramas. On the other hand, however, Eunjung faced an embarrassing moment. When Eunjungasked a lady, “Do you recognize me also? I’m in T-ara!“, she immediately responded back, “T-ara? Who is that?“, creating an awkward and humorous moment.

Eunjung then replied in disappointment, “My hubby is so popular but it appears I lack public recognition and popularity… I should try harder with more efforts.”
