Hara has a tweet fest with her fans

KARA member Hara spent some time tweeting with her fans.

On March 28th, Goo Hara wrote on Twitter, “I will make some time to tweet.  Is there anyone who hasn’t gone off to dream land yet?”

Fans who saw her tweet responded by saying, “Me, me!  Noona what are you doing?“, “I can’t sleep because of work,” and “I am not sleeping yet, and I’m alive.”

Hara responded to the tweets of each of her fans. To a fan who wrote, “I am depressed so I cannot fall asleep,” she asked, “Why are you depressed?“  To another fan who tweeted, “Hara, can you mention me?” she responded with a burst of aegyo. Finally to a fan who tweeted, “Wow, a chance to get mentioned by Koo Hara.  But I need to go to sleep,” she responded, “You are so cool.”

KARA recently released their new Japanese singles ‘Speed Up‘ and ‘Girl Power‘, and are actively promoting them. 

Jiyeon shows her cute puffy cheeks

Jiyeon of the girl group T-ara revealed a cute selca of herself.

On March 28th, Jiyeon updated her personal Twitter saying, "Because the weather is good, my mood is good too~♥", along with the photo above.

In the photo, Jiyeon is seen staring at the camera with her big smoky eyes and puffy cheeks. Her flawless beauty and cute expression have touch the hearts of her male fans.

Wooyoung and JOO’s tweets get their followers talking

Tweets sent between 2PM’s Wooyoung and singer JOO are garnering attention among their followers and fans.

On March 28th JOO wrote on her personal Twitter, “It was such a sensation.  The show goes on until April 20th so you must all go check it out.  I fell in love with the actors.”

Wooyoung saw the tweet and responded, “JOO, I want to watch it too,” to which JOO replied, “Let’s go!  I can watch it 10 more times.”  Wooyoung sent back another tweet saying, “Alright, then let’s make some time for it,” making many wonder if they really will go watch the musical together.

Followers who saw the tweets commented, “It’s nice to see their close friendship,” “Seems like a scandal will be made,” and “Go by yourself!”

2PM and JOO are both label mates under JYP Entertainment.

Junho is a well-mannered gentleman with Kim So Eun

2PM‘s Junho showed that under his ‘beasty idol’ image, he was a true gentleman.

On the March 24th episode of MBC MUSIC‘s ‘Music and Lyrics‘, Junho drew viewers’ attention, proving to be quite the gentleman with Kim So Eun.

The two were extremely bashful from the moment they met, but the way Junho thoughtfully looked after So Eun throughout their date became a hot topic amongst viewers.

When walking together, Junho paid special attention to So Eun and led her with his hand behind her, while also always remembering to open the door for her, and covering her with his umbrella when it began to rain.

During the company dinner, the staff members pressured the two into taking a ‘love shot’. But seeing So Eun’s full glass of beer, Junho remarked that it may be too much for her to drink, and quickly switched her glass with his own.

His thoughtfulness and considerate manners towards So Eun not only melted So Eun’s heart, but tugged at the heartstrings of his nuna fans everywhere.

His fans, who were blown away by his mindful behavior, wrote online, “King of manners, Junho! His gentleman-like demeanor is stirring my heart“, “He knows how to treat a lady!”, “Where can I find a boyfriend like him?”, “Jealous of So Eun“, and more.

KARA extends their Japanese contract with Universal Music Japan

Top Hallyu girl group KARA has solidified their ‘Hallyu Princesses’ status by extending their Japanese contract with Universal Music.

A representative from KARA’s management company DSP Media was quoted saying, “KARA’s initial contract with Universal Music Japan was signed in August of 2010 and is set to expire this August. We have successfully extended the contract by a year and four months, meaning that the contract will run until December of 2013.”

Furthermore, as a testament to their continual popularity in Japan, KARA recently sold out all the seats to their upcoming Japanese tour.

The DSP representative explained, “Starting with Yokohama on April 14th, the tour will take place in five different cities for a total of 10 performances. There were 100,000 available tickets for the tour, which all sold out upon its opening sale. In response to this explosive interest, we added two additional performances for May 26th and 27th at the Saitama Super Arena, which seats 15,000 people.”

In related news, KARA is currently busy preparing for their Japanese tour while they promote for their 6th Japanese single, “Speed Up/Girl’s Power“.

Shinhwa and 2PM gain interest for having many similarities

Original idol group Shinhwa and 2PM are gaining interest from fans for their similarities.

On the March 26th broadcast of Mnet‘s ‘Wide Entertainment News,’ it was revealed that there were many parallels between sunbae (senior) group Shinhwa and hoobae (junior) group 2PM.

The first point of parallel between Shinhwa and 2PM that the show uncovered was titled the “3 2 1 law,” and it involved the birth years of the members of each group.

In Shinhwa, 3 of the members (Eric, Hye Sung, and Dong Wan) were born in 1979, 2 of the members (Minwoo and Jun Jin) in 1980 (Although Minwoo was technically born in 1979, due to an error on his birth certificate, his birth year is legally listed as 1980), and 1 member (Andy) in 1981. 2PM has similar groupings according to birth years, as 3 of the members were born in 1988 (Nichkhun, Junsu, andTaecyeon), 2 members (Junho and Chansung) in 1990, and Wooyoung by himself in 1989.

Also, Shinhwa debuted in 1998, and 2PM debuted exactly 10 years after them in 2008. Although there was a decade difference between their debuts, the two groups have followed the same path in their careers.

Another point of similarity is the number of members from overseas in each group. 2PM has 2 members from overseas (Nichkhun and Taecyeon), as does Shinhwa (Eric and Andy).  Also, viewers were surprised when it was revealed that the maknaes of each group (Andy from Shinhwa, and Chansung from 2PM) were also maknaes in their families as well.

The netizens who found out about the parallels between Shinhwa and 2PM left surprised reactions, such as, “It’s amazing how the two groups have similarities that match up numerically,” and “There was a reason why I thought Shinhwa and 2PM were similar.”

Other points of similarities between Shinhwa and 2PM that drew the interest of fans and netizens were their acrobatics, their “beastly idol” concept, and their connections with actress Kim Tae Hee.

Leeteuk wants to start working out again & surpasses 1 million followers on Twitter

Super Junior‘s leader Leeteuk shared a new photo that showcased a more edgy side of him that’s different from his usual bubbly self.

On March 27th, Leeteuk posted the photo above via his official Twitter account and wrote, “I was pretty toned back then. I will start working out again after coming back from France.”

The cut in Lee Teuk’s abs as well as his pectoral muscles that peeked through his jacket in the photo reminded fans of the ‘beasty idols’ 2PM, and netizens were mesmerized by his chic expression which brought out his masculine charm.

“So different from now,” netizens wrote, in addition to “So attractive,” and “A little different from the way he looks now.”

3月27日，某门户网站公告板出现了“姜智英·李民浩，不像是偶然吧”的帖子和相关照片。 照片中姜智英身穿可爱的小狗T恤出现在自己代言的某服饰品牌画报拍摄现场，她T恤内搭衬衫，下身搭配超短热裤，完美演绎了“零下衣”时尚，李民浩则穿着同款T恤，一副明朗少年的造型。 网民们纷纷表示“两人年龄也相仿，真般配”、“两人这是互赠礼物吗”、“我穿上是不是也和姜智英情侣装啊”等，反应热烈。 


姜智英正出演KBS2电视台的《青春不败2》节目，李民浩则正出演SBS周三周四剧《屋塔房王世子》。
