SHINee members receive “senior” treatment from ‘Brave Rascals’ comedians

SHINee were caught off guard by “senior” treatment from the ‘Brave Rascals‘ team of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Gag Concert‘.

Comedian Park Sung Kwang posted on his Twitter March 30th KST, “At KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank’ bowing to seniors SHINee.” The ‘Brave Rascals’ have just begun promoting their own single “Wait and Prepare“, which technically makes them SHINee’s “juniors” in the music world. The comedy group visited SHINee backstage, and apparently, the SHINee boys weren’t exactly comfortable with the treatment as they responded quickly with their own bow. Member Onew seemed to find the situation funny as he raised his arms above his head, mimicking the pose made popular by the ‘Brave Rascals’ comedians.

Followers commented, “Onew’s variety skills shine here too. Adorable,” “SHINee members! They’re so personable,” and “It’s funny that the SHINee members are your seniors.”

The ‘Brave Rascals’ are officially promoting themselves as singers with their single “Wait and Prepare”, which was released on March 26th KST.

SHINee releases "Sherlock" dance tutorial

Following the dance rehearsal video and dance version MV, SHINee has unveiled a dance tutorial video for their latest title track "Sherlock."

On March 30th, SHINee released its dance lesson via SM Entertainment's official Youtube channel. The members take you through the main points of the choreography of "Sherlock". Check out the video below!

2PM to host the fan meeting, 'The true charm of 2PM'!

Group 2PM will be meeting their fans at the official fan meeting, ‘2PM’s The Hottest Party’.

2PM is to host the fan meeting to be with the official fan club, HOTTEST, on this coming April 1st.

2PM, with Junsu-Taecyeon-Nichkhun-Junho-Chansung-Wooyoung, is the best performance boy-band group who is being loved with their diverse characteristics, and showing their charisma on stage. Also, 2PM is showing off their thousand charms and excitement on-air. Recently, 2PM has proved their fierce popularity with selling out every concert of their Asia tour.

This coming ‘2PM’s The Hottest Party’ is the fan meeting prepared by 2PM for their official fan club HOTTEST 3rd batch members, which are full of TV program parodies going over various genres and the fabulous stage wanted by the fans. Therefore, this will be a moment and the place where 2PM could be in unison with the fans.

2PM’s fan meeting will be held at Peace Palace in Kyounghee university on April 1st from 4PM.

Eunjung unevenly cuts her bangs off?

T-ara member Eunjung revealed a rather unique hairstyle.

On March 29, T-ara’s Eunjung shared a photo of herself with a new hairstyle. She tweeted, “I’m in big trouble...really...” and attached the photo above.

In the photo, Eunjung can be seen wearing an uneven bowl style haircut. She showed off a surprised and shocked expression, staring at her unbalanced bangs.

Junho to collaborate with Vanness Wu for 'Tiamo Chocolate' OST

2PM’s Junho will be collaborating with popular Taiwanese singer Vanness Wu for a Taiwanese drama’s OST album.

2PM's Junho and Vanness Wu have recorded the track “Invincibility” for the drama ‘Tiamo Chocolate’. According to reports, soon after the album is set for release, the duo will begin shooting the music video locally in early April.

Vanness Wu is an actor and a singer who has debuted brilliantly as the lead of Taiwanese ‘Hanayori Dango’ and was beloved all over Asia, centering Taiwan.

‘Tiamo Chocolate’, Taiwanese drama which Junho has sung the OST with Van Ness, is the hi-teen drama with heartbreaking love story where Van Ness takes the lead.

Vanness expressed, “I worked my hardest on my production with 2PM’s Junho, and I’m really looking forward to the music video filming as well.”

Junho added, “I’m glad to be able to work with Vanness through music, and I’m also looking forward to the music video filming.”

Recently on the 30th of March, T-ara member So Yeon updated her twitter account saying, "I love you mama, please stay healthy, I love you mommy" and along with her affectionate post to her mother she also shared a selca.

On her selca, she can be seen posing with her mother. You can clearly see the striking resemblance between the mother and daughter and its also touching to read So Yeon's loving message to her mother. SHINee's "Sherlock" featured on French TV

Idol group SHINee made a strong comeback with 4th mini album “Sherlock.” Not only did the boys blazed its way in South Korea, they made an international recognition as well!

On March 27th, French channel CANAL Plus talk show ‘Le Petit Journal’ introduced SHINee. The news corner of the program featured SHINee’s “Sherlock” music video.

On this broadcast, MC Yann Barthes introduced SHINee as the leader of the K-Pop wave, and talked about partial translations for the lyrics of Sherlock, the kick dance which appears in the chorus and the strong walk that the members dance out in their performances with their arms crossed.

‘Le Petit Journal’ is a popular French talk show that is broadcast every day and covers political, social and culture issues.

Hara continuously gets cut out on Japanese television

It seems KARA’s Hara continuous to be cut out on Japanese Television. Recently, a netizen compiled a couple of photos of Hara with KARA where they appeared on Japanese television shows and on the screen caps you can see Hara’s face covered with the logo’s on tv.

In particular, Hara’s pretty face was also covered with logo’s on tv in Korea a couple of times also and it seems that her unfortunate circumstance did not stop in Korea but continued in Japan. Netizens commented, “Aigoo, her pretty face got covered”, “She needs to transfer to another seat”, “She’s still pretty no matter what!”. 

KARA's 'Super Girl' expected to surpass 1 million sales mark

KARA is close to selling over 1 million copies with its second full-length Japanese album ‘Super Girl.’ The group will be re-selling this album in light of their upcoming Japanese tour on April 11.

According to DSP Media, KARA has sold over 800,000 copies of their album so far. The album sales slowed down towards the end of last year due some problems with the supply. However, the numbers are expected to spike again with the girls’ new tour.

A representative stated, “When the albums were being sold extremely well, the sales numbers went over what we expected so we did not meet the demands. We believe that fans will be highly anticipating the re-sale of KARA's ‘Super Girl’ since it was sold out before.”

‘Super Girl’ has surpassed the sales record number of 750,000, earning them a Triple Platinum status with the Japanese Record Association. KARA is the only Korean group to reach this status with just one album in Japan.

Nickhun gets nominated in Thailands Kerd Awards

2pm's very own NichKhun was nominated to the famous award ceremony Kerd Awards in Thailand. The Kerd Awards has seven categories, Born to grasp the main scene, Born to be famous, Born to be a comedian, Born to be pop, Born to giver, Born to be together, Born to be hot and they will also award the elite title of Kerd of the Year.

Only the most influential figures in Thailand were nominated and fans alike can vote for their own candidates through SMS. NichKhun is already very well known in Thailand as a member of 2pm and as an individual, he already endorsed various products in Thailand and also took part in a movie.

NichKhun gave his thanks for the nomination and said, "Its an honor to receive an invitation to the awards show and Im even more thankful for the nomination. I am very happy and nervous at the same time, It's very overwhelming. Thank you to all those who supported me, to our fans, Thank you very much.". NichKhun is scheduled to attend the awards ceremony on March 30 and have their first fan meeting in April 1.

Amber to exit Invincible Youth 2 due to overseas activities

It has been confirmed that Amber of f(x) will be leaving KBS “Invincible youth 2”. On the 29th of March, SM Entertainment official made a statement saying, “Due to overseas activities and schedules, it is inevitable for Amber to leave invincible youth 2 since it is difficult to coordinate her overseas schedule with the filming schedule for the show”.

 Amber is part of G8 of the 2nd season of invincible youth and with her upcoming busy schedule with oversees commitments she has no choice but to leave the show. Meanwhile, Invincible youth 2 has been garnering poor ratings even after it’s 3 months of broadcast on television, it has been garnering 4 to 5% viewer rating only.

KARA arrives in Taiwan!

KARA arrived a little past noon in Taiwan. Taiwanese Kamilias were there to give the girls a very warm welcome. KARA greeted the fans with affectionate smiles. It was also in the article that they said they wanted to try Taiwanese cuisine aside from the Fan Meeting and charity events planned.

Yesung takes a selca with his good looking younger brother

Super Junior‘s Yesung and his equally handsome little brother took a selca together, proving that good looks must run in the family.

On March 29th, Yesung uploaded the selca on Twitter, and wrote, “I visited with my good looking (?) little brother Jong Jin, and then went to Heestory. Heechul hyung, I kept my loyalty [to you].” Fans were surprised at the similarity between the two brothers with some commenting that they could be twins.

Followers commented, “Good looking brothers. Your parents must be proud,” and “Without his glasses, Yesung would look exactly like his brother.”

SHINee Open Up on Fasting Rumors & Extra Member!

The SHINee members opened up on some funny rumors they had heard about themselves through their handwritten resumes. The members wrote out their own resumes for the live open studio broadcast of Mnet’s Wide Entertainment News on March 29. 

In the resume, they had to write down basic information about themselves, a self-introduction, interests, strengths, weaknesses and rumors. Their answers for the weirdest rumors they’ve heard and their explanations were especially entertaining.

Key and Onew answered, ‘Fasting rumors’ and ‘Don’t you ever eat? Yes, we do eat’. Minho and Jonghyun answered calmly, ‘Not much’ and ‘There’s no need to explain rumors’, while member Taemin wrote, ‘That SHINee has six members’.

SHINee will be appearing in the open studio located in the first floor of the CJ E&M Center in Seoul. The members will talk about their resumes and answer questions in the Talk Bingo section.

As the open studio is literally open to the public and only has a glass wall separating the stars from the fans, many fans usually crowd around to see their stars when there is a shoot. Many are looking forward to seeing how many fans will gather outside to see SHINee.

SHINee recently made a comeback with its new mini album Sherlock, and after appearing in Wide Entertainment News, it will perform for M Countdown.

SHINee studies Japanese for their upcoming Japan Tour

On top of their busy schedules in the middle of the 'Sherlock' promotional period, SHINee has been practicing Japanese for their upcoming tour. The members divulged that although they have learned some Japanese already, they are aiming to become more fluent for the tour to be able to get closer to their Japanese fans.

During a fansigning event that happened yesterday, Taemin said, “We're disappointed that our Korean promotion period is short, but after our Japanese activities, we plan on releasing an album later this year, so please wait for us. We are both practicing for our Korean promotions and prepping for our Japanese tour next month. We will try our best to impress on the Japanese stage, so please anticipate our performance.”

SHINee will be touring Japan for ‘The First Japan Arena Tour: SHINee World 2012‘ starting April 25th, and the tour will run all the way until the beginning of July.

Leeteuk has shapely legs like Ha Ji Won

Super Junior's Leeteuk shows off his perfect pair of legs.

On March 29th, Leeteuk tweeted a picture with the caption, “It seems similar but different feeling~ I have a lot of time on my hands.” 

In the black and white picture, the leader's face was pasted onto sensual picture of a female model. His one leg stretched out on a desk while wearing only a jacket and giving an erotic gaze.

However, the picture reminded the netizens of Ha Ji Won's recent still cut from MBC’s series The King 2Hearts. In the picture, Ha Ji Won has her legs on a desk while sitting on a chair, similar to Leeteuk's pose.

Netizens commented on the picture saying “Leeteuk unnie isn’t this too sexy?” and “I totally burst into laughter.”
