Lee Jong Suk and f(x)‘s Krystal have been added on to the growing list of celebrities showing their support for college hopefuls today.

On November 9th, Lee Jong Suk wrote on his me2day, “Chung Duk High School students and all of Korea’s students taking the college entrance exam today, the Ahn siblings pray for your success!! Please show your love for High Kick too!! Sincerely, Ahn siblings,” and uploaded the photo above.

In the photo, Lee Jong Suk and Krystal are seen making the ‘Ppu-ing Ppu-ing’ pose, which was recently made popular by their ‘High Kick 3‘ sitcom. Fans and netizens alike were captivated by theaegyo and thoughtful support the two co-stars showed for exam takers.

Hyomin practices T-ara’s choreography on the set of ‘Gyebaek’

T-ara‘s Hyomin is leading the busy life as she pulls double-duty as an actress and a singer. Recently, she shared a photo via Twitter of herself practicing the choreography for T-ara’s new track, “Cry Cry“, while on the set of her historical drama, MBC‘s ‘Gyebaek‘.

Hyomin is seen dressed up in a colorful outfit while practicing her moves with a focused expression.“One week before ‘Cry Cry’ comeback. Practicing my choreography while waiting for ‘Gyebaek’ filming. There’s no time,” Hyomin said.

T-ara to skip year-end award ceremonies for overseas activities

It’s just been announced that girl group T-ara will be absent from all year-end award ceremonies in order to focus on overseas activities instead.

Agency Core Contents Media revealed on November 10th, “T-ara will not be attending this year’s ‘Melon Music Awards‘, ‘MAMA‘ or ‘Golden Disk Awards‘. Instead, they will be heading overseas for activities in Japan, China and Taiwan to meet with their fans.”

T-ara is facing a very packed schedule as they prepare to release their new mini-album, “Black Eyes“. Furthermore, members Hyomin and Eunjung are also busy with filming their respective sageukdramas, and it was reportedly difficult to coordinate their schedules.

In related news, their “Cry Cry” MV has generated a huge amount of interest thanks to its dramatic storyline. Fans will be delighted to know that a re-edited version will be released on the 10th.

KARA member Kang Jiyoung’s packed schedule around college entrance exam

Kang Gun Wook, the father of KARA member Jiyoung informed OSEN on the 9th, “I’m worried because Jiyoung has had very little time to properly prepare for her college entrance exam… but she says she feels very confident taking the Japanese portion of the test. She usually aced the Japanese exams when she was in school.”

He continued with a laugh, “I think she will major in something related to entertainment, but I just hope she does well on the exam.”

Unfortunately, Jiyoung has had very little time to study for the exam, as she has had an extremely tight schedule and will be busy before and after the exam. The singer who is currently promoting with the other KARA members in Japan has flown in to Korea on the 9th, and will be taking the exam on the 10th with very little time to rest or prepare.

Once the exams are over, Jiyoung will he be heading straight to the airport to attend MBC‘s ‘KPop Music Fest in Sydney‘ in Australia on November 12th.

She won’t have much time to celebrate when the exams are over like the other students, as she will also be heading to the set of KBS ‘Invincible Youth 2‘, and also film her Japanese drama on TV Tokyo.

T-ara’s “Roly-Poly” to be made into a musical

T-ara‘s über-popular “Roly-Poly” received a remake with “Roly-Poly in Copacabana“, and now it’s being made into a musical.

“Our Youth Roly-Poly” is the combined effort between T-ara’s agency Core Contents Media andCulture Action, who’ve put together projects like ‘My Mother‘ and ‘I Really, Really Like‘.

The production company stated, “Our goal is to offer nostalgia to the generations of people who want to revisit their youth. We will offer them the music, the places, and the stories they saw and heard in their younger days.”

The musical will be directed by Han Jin Sub, who’s directed ‘Mamma Mia‘, ‘Gambler‘, ‘I Love You‘, ‘Dae Jang Geum‘, ‘Kiss Me Kate‘, ‘Duet‘, and more. He will be using the MV of “Roly-Poly” as the foundation of his play, adding different stories and events to bulk up the content.

Meanwhile, the choreography will be put together by Kang Ock Soon, who’s worked on the choreographies for ‘My Mother’, ‘March of the Youth‘, and ‘The Blonde is Too Much‘ in the past.

The show promises to be a well-rounded performance offering versatile entertainment, and features some new musical actors who underwent two-day auditions for their parts.

今天11月10号 T-ara 所属经纪公司Core Contents Media表示道“T-ara将不会出席今年(Melon Music Awards)，(MAMA)甚至是(Golden Disk Awards)”等等重大年末颁奖典礼。

T-ara will skip end of the year award shows!

T-ara's agency revealed they'll be skipping the various end of the year award shows this year.

On the 10th, a Core Contents Media representative revealed that T-ara will be absent at the award shows because of foreign activities.

T-ara is currently preparing for their comeback with their mini album "Black Eyes" and will be meeting fans in Japan, China, and Taiwan, thus resulting in them being gone during the end of the year award scheduling.

Meanwhile, T-ara will have their comeback stage on the 18th at Music Bank.

"Cry Cry" audio being revealed this weekend, 2nd part of MV next month!

Unlike most groups going for the usual approach of simultaneously revealing their song and then music video, T-ara have done it backwards. T-ara revealed their "Cry Cry" music video and will release the audio for download on music sites over the weekend.

The second part to the "Cry Cry" music video drama with their title track "lovey-dovey" will be revealed a month later. They chose to do this to avoid confusion because the styles of the songs are a 180-degree difference.

T-ara revealing a new edit version of "Cry Cry" music video!

After revealing their new music for "Cry Cry" yesterday on the 9th, T-ara took the top spot on various music sites including GomTV with over two million hits all in all.

Because of the promise made to fans, an unfinished video with an audio problem was released yesterday because of a computer error that suddenly happened, but the correct version will be revealed with the editing revisions today at 12:00 KST.

T-ara's "Roly Poly" being made into a musical!

T-ara's agency Core Contents Media have announced plans to create a new musical, "Our Youth Roly-Poly".

The musical is inspired by T-ara's "Roly-Poly" music video and will be a musical that'll be able to give the older generations nostalgia by bringing back memories, music and settings of the past.

The music video of TRAX’s title song ‘Blind (창문)’ will be released on the 10th (today).

The music video will be released through the official website (http://trax.smtown.com), YouTube SMTOWN channel (http://www.youtube.com/smtown) and facebook SMTOWN page (http://www.facebook.com/smtown). Hong, Wonki directed the music video and it was filmed at the set in Ilsan and studio in Sinsa-dong.

Especially, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and f(x)’s Victoria appeared in the music video. Since they emotionally expressed the wound and pain of love by presenting sorrowful acting of crying, it is expected to receive more positive response from music fans.

Also, the music video was filmed with high speed camera to add fancy and dynamic atmosphere. Jay’s captivating voice and Jungmo’s strong guitar playing will double the attractions of rock ballad song ‘Blind (창문).’

College or No? High School Stars' Ideas About College

Every year when November comes to a close, high school senior (3^rd year in high school) stars debate whether or not they should apply for scheduled or unscheduled admissions to school. The 2012 College Admission Exam will take place in two days, and among the student pool are stars who are opting out of it.

Everyone has a different view on whether or not stars should go to college after high school. Some netizens commented, “It would look better to see them try when they actually can and want to rather than going with the crowd on this matter,” “The attitude towards the mock test is changing, it seems,” and more.

Yoo Seung Ho and IU put off the Mock Test and unscheduled (rolling) admission to school, delaying going to college for a bit. As they are very popular, rumors went around saying that they will be going to college. However the two busy young stars decided they wanted to focus on their careers, Yoo Seung Ho with acting and IU with singing.

T-ara’s Ji Yeon and Five Dolls’ Hyo Young also revealed that they will not be taking the mock test.SHINee’s Tae Min’s final decision was not to take the mock test either. His party has claimed, “Tae Min won’t be taking the College Entrance Exam because we decided that he wasn’t ready to take it.”

f(x)’s member Luna and actor Lee Poong Woon were admitted to Joong Ang University through rolling admission.Teen Top’s Chun Ji has applied to a school on rolling admission as well. If he is admitted to that school, he will be a college student without even taking the mock test in the upcoming year of 2012. According to Joong Ang University, Lee Poong Woon and Luna passed the art department audition. However, Lee Poong Woon was not able to audition with Luna for the first audition because he got into an accident the day of. He gave up on auditioning for the first audition but passed the second audition.

Lee Hyun Woo, who well appealed to the audience with his cuteness on the KBS drama “God of Study,” was accepted into Dong Gook University’s theater department. The contracting party said, “After turning in the documents and interviewing, he was accepted. Because he was accepted into the department he always wanted to be part of, he was and is very happy about it.”

High school seniors face different decisions in their lives regarding schools. The new trend or bold decisions, however, are definitely catching the attention of fans and audiences.
