2NE1 Global Tour 2012 in Malaysia- New Evolution Cancelled

15 Nov 2012 – The 2NE1 Global Tour 2012 in Malaysia – New Evolution, initially to be held 8 Dec 2012 at Stadium Malawati, will unfortunately be cancelled due to unresolved technical issues encountered while producing the show.

This decision was made by Running Into The Sun after intense deliberation; and in order not to compromise on the production and safety of running the show and to make the fairest decision for fans, concert organizer Running Into The Sun is greatly saddened to have to make this decision. 

Running Into The Sun is extremely sorry about the inconvenience and disappointment caused to all fans, members of the media and other parties involved in or affected by this; and seeks your kind understanding in this matter.  Running Into The Sun also apologizes to the artist 2NE1 as well as YG for the inconvenience caused.

Luna reveals she’s a ‘triplet’?

f(x)‘s Luna shared photos with her closest friends from childhood.

On the 13th, Luna posted the above photo onto her me2day and wrote, “Triplets ‘Jin Sun Hee’. They’re my family and my beautiful halves who have been with me since I was young. I suddenly miss my elementary school days today.”

The photos show Luna posing with her twin sister, Park Jin Young, who is widely known by her fans, but her post also caused some confusion. “Jin Sun Hee” seems to be referring to her sister’s name, Park Jin Young, and Luna’s birth name, Park Sun Young, and fans are guessing that the third “triplet” is Park Hee Young.

G.O shows his support for Lisa with a cake

MBLAQ‘s G.O decided to surprise sunbae singer and musical actress, Lisa, with a cake recently!

Lisa, who recently revealed her single “Woman“, wrote on her twitter, “Currently in Osaka for ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata‘ performance. G.O came to congratulate me on my new release by giving me yummy cake. So touched. Thank you. G.O.”

2PM reveals audio previews of Jun.K, Chansung & Nichkhun’s solo tracks

After releasing the previews of Wooyoung, Junho and Taecyeon’s solo tracks, 2PM is back with more audio teasers for Jun.K, Chansung and Nichkhun’s solo tracks for upcoming “What Time Is It?” live tour.

Released on the group’s official Youtube channel, the videos were 1-minute previews of the members’ solo stages. Jun.K will be performing his solo track “Alive”, Chansung will perform “Love You Down”, while Nichkhun, who has been in hiatus for a while, will perform “Let It Rain”.

Leeteuk reveals more texts from his friends on ‘Strong Heart’

Leeteuk revealed more text messages that he received from his friends on ‘Strong Heart‘.

The show had only revealed half of the replies last week. He had sent 100 celebrity fans a text that read “I’ll miss you“, and ‘Strong Heart’ revealed the rest of the replies this week. Some replies included SM Entertainment‘s Lee Soo Man, and Oh In Hye, whose reply caused Boom to imply Leeteuk had been on a date with her.

Actor Han Jung Soo replied, “Sorry. I understand your feelings, but you’re not my type. Meet a nice man“, showing off his goofy charm. Park Min Ha, a child actress, wrote, “Teuk-oppa, should Min Ha follow you to the army?“. Sung Si Kyung said, “Me? If you want to drink during your break, call me.”Brown Eyed Girls‘ Narsha replied, “I’ll wait for you. I love you, Jungsu.”

KARA’s 3rd Japanese album ‘Girls Forever’ places 2nd on Oricon, KARA & INFINITE’s DVD place 1st & 2nd on DVD chart

KARA unveiled their 3rd Japanese studio album, ‘Girls Forever‘, on the 14th and on the first day it ranked second on the Oricon ‘Daily Album’ chart. It has been revealed that the album sold 28,274 copies on its first day of release.

Additionally, KARA released their DVD ‘KARA 1st JAPAN TOUR KARASIA‘ on the 14th and it placed first on Oricon’s Daily DVD chart. Following them was INFINITE, who released their DVD ‘2012 INFINITE CONCERT [SECOND INVASION] in JAPAN‘ on the same day.

SM Entertainment’s Third Quarter results fall short of analyst expectations

SM Entertainment‘s third quarter results fell short of expectations.

SM Entertainment reported their quarterly report to the Financial Supervisory Service at 2:12 PM KST on the 14th. According to their report, SM Entertainment’s third quarter profit was 11.7 billion KRW (approximately $10.7 million USD). This is a 70% increase compared to the same period last year, but the result was only half of analyst expectations of 20 billion – 23 billion KRW (approximately $18.4 million – $21.1 million USD).

As a result, SM Entertainment stocks fell nearly 15%, and hit its low at 2:25 PM. Analysts at the stock exchange fell into a state of confusion. One analyst said, “I haven’t even seen the report yet, but I don’t even have time to think because people keep calling non-stop. We currently don’t know why this happened.”

SM Entertainment explained that the shortcoming was due to the high production costs for the TVXQand Super Junior arena tours. However, experts have judged that the reasoning was flawed. One analyst said, “There could be some issues internally if we have this much of a difference.” The arena tour was actually one of SM Entertainment’s largest favorable points. Analysts had predicted that the 3rd quarter earnings would see an explosive increase mainly because of the arena tours as their Japanese tours held earlier in the year brought in an audience of nearly 1,000,000 people.

The resulting shock caused SM Entertainment stocks to drop 14.88% to 58,900 KRW (approximately $54 USD) per share. Not only so, but the drop affected other entertainment companies as well. YG Entertainment dropped 13.86% to a stock price of 64,000 KRW (approximately $59 USD) per share, and other entertainment labels dropped 4 to 8% as well.

On November 14th, photos of Eunhyuk at his mother’s fresh new bakery were uploaded onto the store’s official Twitter account with the words “Finally today!! Eunhyuk visited the Tous Les Jours High End branch on the opening day~~ You never know when he’ll appear the next time, so please show a lot of interest from now on ~.~“. The photos showed Eunhyuk, who looked slightly tired and thinner, but greeting fans with a bright smile. 2PM’s “Masquerade” places 2nd on Oricon Chart

2PM‘s latest Japanese single “Masquerade” debuted at #2 on the Oricon Daily Singles Chart.

“Masquerade” was originally scheduled to be released on August 29th but the date was unfortunately postponed and was released on November 14th. The single sold 88,166 units on the first day, which sets a new record for 2PM’s first day singles sales. “Beautiful” held the previous record as it sold 73,529 units on the first day.

Jackal Is Coming’s Kim Jae-Joong & Song Ji-Hyo, million promise full of sense!

Actor Kim Jae-Joong and Song Ji-Hyo made a promise to buy black-bean-sauce noodles and offer free hugs if their movie draws million audiences.

At the press conference for ‘Jackal’s Coming,’ Song Ji-Hyo, Kim Jae-Joong, Oh Dal-Su and Han Sang-Jin participated. The movie is a comedy about a legendary killer kidnapping a famous star ‘Choi Hyun.’ The movie was directed by Bae Hyung-Jun. Change in Song Ji-Hyo’s acting and screen debut of acting idol Kim Jae-Joong, is highly expected.

To the question of asking about the box office, Song Ji-Hyo answered, “If the movie draws over million audiences, I will hug everyone coming from Gangnam.” Kim Jae-Joong answered, “I will buy black-bean-sauce noodles to everyone in the theater,” and Han Sang-Jin answered, “I will buy black-bean-sauce noodles to the first several people Song Ji-Hyo hugs.”

T-ara's sleeps well on the plane

After promoting "SEXY LOVE" in Korea, T-ara has promotional schedules for their single album "SEXY LOVE" in Japan being released on the 14th. Pictures of them exhausted and sleeping have become a hot topic.
