A photo of Shin So Yul, Han Ji Woo, and T-ara‘s Jiyeon in school uniforms is receiving a lot of attention.

An online community board recently uploaded a photo with the title, ‘Han Ji Woo, Jiyeon, Shin So Yul, The Three Musketeers of high school girls‘.

Despite their age differences, all three of them could pass as high school friends with their youthful look.

Netizens, who saw the three lovely ladies in uniform, commented, “They look like best friends in high school,” “Uniforms really are the best,” and “They are uniform maniacs.”

Actress Han Ji Woo was recently chosen as an endorsement model alongside Rain for a famous Chinese cosmetic brand, and Jiyeon is preparing for a comeback with T-ara’s upcoming subunit.

Noh Hong Chul, SHINee’s Minho, and Kim So Hyun named the new hosts of ‘Music Core’

Noh Hong Chul, SHINee‘s Minho, and Kim So Hyun have been cast as the new ‘Music Core‘ MCs!

According to a broadcast insider, the new trio will fill in the empty spots of the former MCs, Taeyeon,Tiffany, and Seohyun of Girls’ Generation, and begin their activities on the upcoming April 20th broadcast. ‘Music Core’ will also be unveiling their new ranking system for the first time on the same show.

As mentioned previously, TaeTiSeo will be leaving their MC positions this week after one year hosting the music program, and ‘Music Core’ will begin implementing their new ranking system. The new system will determine the top 4 weekly candidates by calculating the numbers of views on the artist’s music video on their official YouTube channel (1 view per IP address per day), 1500 votes from people ranging in age from 20 to 40, and album as well as digital sale scores. During the live broadcast, text message votes will also be added to the score to determine the final winner.

Baek Ji Young and Jung Suk Won deny rumors of breakup

Singer Baek Ji Young and her actor boyfriend Jung Suk Won have both denied rumors of a breakup.

Baek Ji Young’s label said, “We think that rumors of their breakup came up after certain parts of the ‘Thank You‘ episode that Baek Ji Young was a guest on. This is because of exaggeration. They’re still dating fine.”

Jung Suk Won’s agency also commented, “We think the rumors that they broke up have come up after the ‘Thank You’ broadcast. However, they haven’t changed at all from the beginning, and they’re still dating.”

The pair have been dating since 2011, but her recent statement on a variety show, “I don’t have any plans [to get married]. The direction he looks at and the direction I look at are slightly different. I can’t wait forever, but right now, I don’t have any plans,” fueled breakup rumors.

BoA confirms more solo concerts in Korea and Taiwan

BoA is continuing on her solo concert series ‘BoA Special Live 2013 ~Here I am~‘ with additional dates in Korea and Taiwan!

The singer will be holding her solo concert at the National Taiwan University Sports Center on May 18th. The veteran singer will then be returning to Korea to continue her concert series in Daegu’s EXCO on May 25th and Busan’s KBS Busan Hall on June 1st.

BoA previously held her first solo concert since her debut in Korea at Seoul back in January, which sold out, so anticipation is definitely on the rise for her newly confirmed dates.

The tickets for her Daegu concert will go on sale on the 18th and for the Busan concert on the 25th at 8PM through G Market. Judging by the success of her previous solo concert, lucky fans in Daegu and Busan will have to hurry to buy their tickets before it’s gone!

KARA spotted promoting “Bye Bye Happy Days” in the streets of Japan

The lovely ladies of KARA were spotted promoting in the streets of Japan.

In the photos, the girls were dressed in shorts and short dresses to match the warm Spring weather. The girls are dressed casually, with their hair either let down naturally or pulled up into a simple ponytail, but they looked like they were ready to go for a photoshoot.

Naturally, fans crowded around the girls at every location they were seen filming. The girls are currently promoting “Bye Bye Happy Days” in Japan. The single peaked at #2 on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart and sold 65,588 copies in its first week.

Song Ji Hyo is the new endorsement model for "Mr.Pizza"

 "Mr.Pizza" chose Song Ji Hyo as their new model and some still cuts from the CF filming were revealed.

Song Ji Hyo went for a retro concept this time. In the photos, she is dressed  in a red polka dot dress while  wearing a red headband, she looks like a princess from fairy tale.

When "Mr. Pizza" was asked about the reason why they chose Song Ji Hyo as their new endorsement model, they said,"Song Ji Hyo is loved and popular by all men, women and children in our country, and her image fits with the concept of our new product"

They also added,"Song Ji Hyo also showed her extremely love for pizza. Eventhough the shooting was taken in a long time but she didn't show any tireness, and she ate more than 4 pizza for the whole filming process"

TVXQ’s Changmin becomes next ‘variety-dol’ in his new program

TVXQ’s Changmin attracted audiences’ hearts by becoming next ‘variety-dol’ in his new KBS 2TV variety program, ‘Our Neighborhood’s Masters of Variety and Sports’.

Changmin has been chosen as one of the MCs for KBS’ new variety show called ‘Our Neighborhood’s Masters of Variety and Sports’ and displayed his talent as an entertainer again like he did at his first MC work on ‘Moonlight Prince’.

Although his original career is being an idol, he threw away those idol characters and harmonized with other comedian MCs. In the first broadcast of the show which aired on April 9, Changmin put on funny makeup, played the spy for his team with his clumsy disguise, and showed his cute and clumsy character in a table tennis match.

Meanwhile, ‘Our Neighborhood’s Masters of Variety and Sports’ will prepare an epic battle between viewers and the MCs every week. Every new competition will include a new sports category, celebrity team and viewers team.

T-ara's Hyomin Spotted Shopping in Japan!

T-ara's Hyomin spotted shopping in various places in Japan.

After confirming T-ara's first formal unit's comeback which is on May 1 with a hip-hop concept, one of the members of the unit, Hyomin with a stylist caught shopping  in Japan which is said to be used for their comeback. She was seen busy choosing what to buy in downtown Tokyo. She was spotted in Omotesando, Harajuku and Shibuya. 

Hyomin and the stylist bought colorful necklaces, wide-brimmed hats and many more items that suit their new concept. Seems Hyomin is the one who is in charge of buying items that needed for their comeback as she is the fashionista of the group as seen when they were operating a shopping mall.

SHINee's "1000 nen, Zutto Soba ni Ite" concept imitated by a Serbian pop group.

On the 7th, the Serbianpop group Tropico band released the music video for "U Lkubav Verujem" and caught netizens attention as the music video is really the same as SHINee's Japanese song "1000 nen, Zutto Soba ni Ite" music video.

TVXQ’s ‘TIME’ ranks #1 on Oricon Monthly Chart

TVXQ has done it again!

The duo had set a new personal record in Japan for first day studio album sales as their sixth Japanese studio album ‘TIME‘ sold 160,719 copies on the first day.

The boys carried on their sales throughout the month as their sixth Japanese album ranked #1 for the month of March by selling 277,426 copies. The album, which includes 12 tracks and 2 bonus tracks, had been released in four versions: a CD version, 2 CD+DVD versions, and a special BigEast version.

Will Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung quit being a singer after getting married?

It looks like fans and Davichi‘s Haeri can breathe a sigh of relief because Kang Min Kyung has says she doesn’t plan on quitting the music industry after marriage.

The singer appeared on the April 9th episode of KBS2‘s ‘1 vs 100‘ where she spoke up about the topic. MC Han Suk Joon asked Kang Min Kyung, “Would you continue your career as a singer after getting married?”

Kang Min Kyung replied, “Even after I get married, if the public is okay with it, I would like to continue my career as a singer. Even Haeri unni said the same thing.”
