Super Junior members count down to ‘Super Show 5′

Super Junior are just a few days away from kicking off their world tour ‘Super Show 5‘ on March 23rd and 24th in Seoul!

Ryeowook, Donghae, Siwon, and Yesung shared their excitement for the tour by counting down to the start date with their fans on Twitter.

Donghae tweeted: “Finished practicing for the concert~~~ Rehearsal and practice again in 2 hours. ELF… wait for SJ!! Goodnight!!”

Yesung tweeted: “SS5 D-2… Donghae & Yesung during rehearsal ^^.”

But don’t worry international ELFs because ‘Super Show 5‘ will also be heading to a town near you in China, Japan, South America, and Europe!

Over 3,000 Vietnamese fans welcome T-ara at the airport for ‘Dream Team 2′

It’s been a while since fans have seen T-ara on Korean variety shows, so they were more than excited to hear that T-ara will be the next guests to show their athleticism on KBS 2TV ‘Dream Team 2‘s Vietnam special!

Immediately upon their arrival in Vietnam on the 20th, T-ara was welcomed by over 3,000 fans at the Vietnam Noi Bai International Airport. Thousands of QUEENs showed their support by holding up placards and posters with animations of T-ara’s new single, “Bunny Style!“.

The girls will be filming the show for the next three days and will return to Korea on the 23rd KST.

TVXQ makes cameo appearance on Japanese show ‘Saki’

TVXQ has made their Japanese drama debut through a cameo appearance on the Fuji TV drama ‘Saki‘!

Both members are active in the Korean drama scene, but while Changmin had acted in a Japanese movie, he had never participated in a Japanese drama. The pair received the offer to cameo in the drama after the director of ‘Saki’ requested it on the spot when Changmin and Yunho visited the filming set.

They played the role of two men eating cake in a cafe. Because of the sudden request, they weren’t given any lines and they impressed with their impromptu performance. They have a very small role, but it’s still nice to see them! Also as a bonus, the cafe plays their “Keep Your Head Down” as the background music.

The latest victory was celebrated on the show’s Twitter, where they wrote, “Which song was the Champion Song for the March 20th episode of ‘Show Champion’? It was the shining SHINee ^^. SHINee won the Champion Song trophy 4 times in a row for the first time on ‘Show Champion’ and for the first time for ‘Dream Girl‘! They asked if they can really take it ^^. 照片当时候的情况据悉是 SHINee 温流 在广播节目正式开始之前，向成员们开玩笑的时候比出了中指的不雅举动被拍下了。照片公开后难免引起了网友们的热烈讨论和指责。

为此SM Ent说道“在节目开始之前，成员们之间在开玩笑的场景被拍下来了，温流本人也感到很非常的抱歉。并且表示不会重犯次错误。”

Returning with another sad ballad, Davichi released their 2nd studio album ‘Mystic Ballad 1990’ featuring the title track “Just the Two of Us”. Starting their official promotions, the duo kick off their first comeback stage on ‘M! Countdown’.

“Just the Two of Us” is an acoustic ballad number that expresses the pain and sorrow of breaking up. The song which features Vibe’s Ryu Jaehyun’s style of music instantly swept various major music charts in Korea upon its release.

BoA becomes first Korean singer to model for Benetton

Singer BoA has recently been selected as the new model for the fashion brand, Benetton. 

On March 20, BoA attended the fashion brand Benetton’s event dubbed “The Face of Colors” in Yeoksam, southern Seou, where she was announced to be the 10th model chosen for the brand. The singer also became the first Korean singer to model for United Colors of Benetton.

During the event, each model was given a color to represent their unique charms and backgrounds. BoA’s color is silver, to which she commented, “It’s a futuristic and flashy color.”

TVXQ’s ‘TIME’ Sells Over 200,000 Copies in A Week!

TVXQ proves popularity in Japan.

On March 6th, TVXQ's latest Japanese album 'Time' was released. When the album was released, it topped Oricon daily album charts and another achievement as it topped the weekly charts. This is the 3rd album of TVXQ that topped the weekly album charts following ‘Best Selection 2010′ in February, 2010 and ‘TONE’ in November, 2011.

The album has sold 244,00 copies in its first week, becoming their first Japanese album to have such number of copies sold.

SHINee's Onew involves in another controversy

SHINee's Onew "middle finger" controversy hasn't ended yet and now he's involved in another one.

The first controversy happened on March 18th, and it was during Younha's "Starry Night" radio when Onew was spotted flicking before the streaming started. It has become a hot topic and received mix reactions from netizens. SM later released a statement that Onew was just joking around with his member and he didn't know that it was captured on screen, he was deeply self-reflecting and promised that it won't happen in the future.

But later today another controversy was spreading. It was three days before the first incident happened, when SHINee was at Incheon airport to Thailand for 'MBC Korean Music Wave in Bangkok', and the thing that captured netizen was Onew's hat. It was the hat with the caption 'WELCOME MOTHERF ★ CKER", and netizesn realized that it was the same hat Girl' Generation Sunny and Seohyun wore in 'I Got A Boy' MV.

There have been many reactions towards the issue this time from netizens,"This hat causes so much trouble","It seems that SM artists love this hat","No one talked when he wore it. just because of the previous incident now they're digging it up","There are many idols who have worn clothes that have sensitive stuff why Onew is the only one who get all the bashful comments"

T-ara’s Japanese single album ‘Bunny Style’ released

T-ara has released their new Japanese single “Bunny Style“!

For this new single, the girls have released 10 versions, with each version containing “Bunny Style” as well as a different sub-unit’s song. Soyeon-Ahreum sing “Sign“, while Qri-Boram sing “Soap Bubbles“, and Jiyeon -Eunjung-Hyomin sing “Dangerous Love“. The other versions also vary with solo tracks of each members.
