The ‘Master Chef Korea Celebrity‘ contestants revealed what they’d do if they won the competition!

Henry, Son Ho Young, and Shin Eun Jung all promised to donate their winnings to those in need. Son Ho Young added on that he wanted to make egg rolls to eat with his fans, and Shin Eun Jung said she wanted to go visit children in hospitals and cook for them.

Fei had her own unique promise, saying that she would wear the miss A stage outfits if she won. Shin Bong Sun promised to dress up as Chef Kim So Hee, one of the judges, and Hwayobi didn’t lose in the 4-D department, as she said she’ll cook while dressing up in a dog costume.

So far in the season, Fei has won the Mystery Box contest twice, and Henry along with actor Kim Sung Soo won the latest episode together. The next episode preview shows Henry playing his violin as the others confess they were nervous and scared, making viewers wonder what would happen. Check out the preview below!

On the final episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Moonlight Prince‘ that aired on the 12th, the guests and the panel talked about the dating manual ‘How to Use My Man‘. One of the members of the panel that came out to quiz the celebrities on the book said, “If a man cheated once, doesn’t he have the possibility to do it again?”

Changmin thought about the question, and answered, “When I was in a relationship before, there was a time when I involuntarily had feelings for someone else. Of course, I didn’t cheat on my girlfriend and I ended my relationship with her. In any case, anyone can be swayed, and I don’t think your inner conflicts can be counted as cheating.”

TVXQ sets a new record in Japan with ‘TIME’

The duo of TVXQ has set another record in Japan!

TVXQ has managed to top Japan’s Oricon Weekly Album Chart with their latest album ‘TIME’. The album managed to sell over 244,000 copies in its first week, setting a new record for the boys.

This marks the third time that TVXQ has managed to top the weekly album chart, following its compilation album ‘Best Selection 2010’ released in February 2010, and its studio album ‘TONE’ in September 2011. It also smashed TVXQ’s personal record for the biggest first week sales.

According to Oricon News, it’s the first time a foreign artist sold over 200,000 copies for 2 consecutive albums since Avril Lavigne achieved the feat five years and 11 months ago with ‘Every Damn Thing’. For a foreign group, the only other time this occurred was 12 years and 10 months ago when Bon Jovi achieved it with ‘Crush’.

f(x) is ready to rock at ‘SXSW’ in Texas

f(x) expressed their excitement of representing K-Pop at one of the biggest American music festivals, ‘SXSW South By Southwest’!

On March 13, Amber posted a photo on her Instagram with the captions, “Just rehearsed for sxsw!! f(x) is gunna rock tonight!”

‘SXSW South By Southwest’ is an annual music conference and festival that takes place in Texas, gathering music and film lovers from all across the country. f(x) will be performing at the event as the representative K-pop artist.

TVXQ sets a new record in Japan with ‘TIME’

TVXQ has set another record in Japan!

Their album ‘TIME‘ had ranked #1 on the Oricon Daily Chart, and now it took the top spot on theOricon Weekly Chart.

This is their third album to top the weekly chart, and this album sold 244,000 copies in the first week, setting a new record for the boys for the first-week sales. It’s also the 2nd consecutive time that their album sold over 200,000 copies in the first week, since they sold over 200,000 with ‘TONE‘ as well.

Oricon announced, “It’s the first time since Avril Lavigne‘s ‘Every Damn Thing‘ that a foreign artist sold more than 200,000 copies for two consecutive albums in the first week, this last occurred 5 years and 11 months ago. For a foreign group, the only other time this occurred was 12 years and 10 months ago when Bon Jovi achieved it with ‘Crush‘.”

Super Junior Eunhyuk’s Twitter account gets hacked!

Attention all ELF! Super Junior Eunhyuk‘s Twitter account has been hacked!

Eunhyuk confirmed the hacking on his Twitter, sharing, “My account got hacked. No wonder last time a mention I didn’t write got posted and deleted… And communicating with Heechul, who doesn’t even have Twitter? Who’s doing was that? That is really impressive.”

MBC radio show ‘Shimshimtapa‘s Son Han Suh PD also found Eunhyuk’s Twitter to be acting funny. He posted, “Eunhyuk’s Twitter also came on and off my Twitter… Come visit ‘Shimshimtapa’.” Eunhyuk replied, “I did that?? I haven’t gone on Twitter for two weeks. What did I do? This, this is serious.”

This isn’t the first time that a celebrity’s Twitter account has been hacked. Hopefully, everything gets resolved soon!

SHINee’s Key thinks Minho is too nice for his own good

Minho is known for his chic and charismatic image, but fellow SHINee member Key reveals there is more to Minho than meets the eye.

On the upcoming episode of ‘SHINee’s Wonderful Day‘, fans will get to see what Minho and Key are really like as they go on their vacation in London together.

During the trip, Minho especially caught the eyes of women with his model-like looks, tall height, and good manners. He also succumbed to Key’s wishes of going skating together, showing how nice Minho really is.

Key shared, “If you get to know Minho, he is a really easy guy. Since he’s not good at rejecting requests, he buys everything people ask him to get for them and spends money wastefully,” making fans wish Minho was their friend.

Davichi overcome fierce competition from 2AM and Lee Hi on music charts

As spring draws near, a handful of talented vocalists have been making their comebacks. Even with the fierce competition, Davichi have managed to maintain their #1 spot on music charts with their new single “Turtle“.

Davichi came out on top on Soribada‘s weekly music chart for the first week of March. Meanwhile,2AM‘s “One Spring Day” trailed behind in 2nd place and Lee Hi‘s “It’s Over” came in 3rd.

A ‘Soribada’ representative shared, “Davichi’s single ‘Turtle’ is currently maintaining its top spot among competition from 2AM who recently released an album as well as the most recently released songs from Lee Hi.”

Davichi shared, “Although the music chart rankings are important, we like it more when we hear reviews from a lot of people saying that ‘Turtle’ is a musical masterpiece.”

Davichi’s main title track from the second part of their new album will be released on the 18th.

KARA’s Seungyeon confesses she lost sleep over ‘Jang Ok Jung, Living in Love’

KARA‘s Seungyeon revealed how nervous she was for her role in ‘Jang Ok Jung, Living in Love‘.

The drama held its first press conference on the 11th at the Gyeonggido Ilsan SBS Production Center, where Seungyeon commented, “It’s my first time acting in a historical drama, and I play the evil role. I had my first filming today. I really come out in the latter half, but today I filmed a small part for the first episode. I’ve been waiting to film since I decided to join the cast, but to be honest, it was really difficult. I recorded it with my camera, but I haven’t been able to check it because I was so nervous. I’m going to check it at home and practice and prepare. I was nervous about the smallest things like walking, but I’m a little more relieved because I didn’t get scolded during the first filming.”

On her role, she said, “I thought hard about starring on ‘Jang Ok Jung, Living in Love’, and I couldn’t even sleep. But since I started, I’m going to work hard to become an actress who people can be at ease watching. In this drama, Suk Bin and Queen In Hyun become the antagonists, which is different than normal. I think it’ll be fun to see a new side. I’m going to believe in my sunbaenims and go along with them.”

She also agreed with many viewers’ worries that her image was not the best suited for a historical drama, saying, “Even I think that if KARA’s Seungyeon’s face comes out on a historical drama, it’d be weird. I know viewers feel that way too. But I’m going to work hard, so even if I am lacking, I will be prepared.”

BoA compliments Yunho on his acting

BoA is usually seen giving words of praise and encouragement to contestants on ‘K-pop Star 2‘. But she also had some supportive words as of recent for labelmate and same-age friend Yunho!

SBS drama ‘Queen of Ambition‘ has been picking up speed lately and entertaining its viewers, one of which is BoA!
