KARA’s Gyuri turns into cartoon character Pororo

KARA’s charismatic leader, Park Gyuri, recently turned into cartoon character Pororo.

On the official Twitter account of MBC FM’s “Shindong, Park Gyuri’s Shim Shim Ta Pa“, a picture of Gyuri was uploaded with the descripton, “Yes, she is… Pororo. Our Gyul. Please call her President Gyul from now on.”

In the picture, Gyuri is seen wearing a handmade pair of glasses and a black helmet, resembling the real Pororo.

Pororo is a popular cartoon character in Korea, and even has the nickname of ‘President Po’ for being the ‘president’ of all kids, young and old.

Netizens commented, “Gyuri Pororo is the best. She’s really cute”, “Did you make the glasses out of cookies?”, and “Gyuri DJ fell for Pororo’s charms as well.”

f(x)’s Amber says good morning from Paris

f(x)’s Amber touched down in Paris recently, and she must be feeling the heat because she can’t seem to get ‘Hot Summer’ off her mind.

On June 10th, Amber wrote on her me2Day,

“Paris morning greeting, good morning! How are you all doing? We’re going to be meeting you all again next week with ‘Hot Summer‘. You’re going to cheer us on a lot right?

I will return after working hard at the SM Town concert! See you then! How’s the picture?“

Fans cracked up after seeing Amber pose with her Pringles duck-bill, and left comments like: “I hope that you complete the Paris concert safely“, “Cute Amber“, and “I think you are getting more and more cute“.

f(x) is currently in France preparing for the “SM Town Live in Paris” concerts that will be held on June 10th and 11th at the Le Zenith de Paris.

HyunA tweets about her first “Dancing with the Stars” experience

4minute’s HyunA recently undertook her first recording for MBC’s “Dancing with the Stars“, and she intrigued fans with her reflective tweets.

On June 9th, HyunA tweeted, “Thank you so, so much to all the fans who cheered me on. There are many things I regret from today, but I will smile and do well, thank you!”

Fans showed their strong support as they commented, “I am looking forward to HyunA’s dance the most” and “I think because she’s a singer, her dancing will be different from the others.”

“Dancing with the Stars” had its first recording at the MBC Dream Center on June 9th. The pilot episode will air on June 10th.

f(x) prepares to release teaser video for ‘Hot Summer’

Girl group f(x) has excited fans with news of an upcoming teaser video!

f(x) will be revealing the teaser video for their follow-up track “Hot Summer” through both their official homepage and SM Entertainment’s YouTube channel on June 13th.

“Hot Summer” is described to be a dance pop track with an intense synthesized sound and beat. It tells the story of girls who find romance in the days of summer.

f(x) will drop their repackaged album through both online and offline stores on June 14th. It will include the original 10 tracks from their first album, as well as four new songs: “Hot Summer”, “Can I Like You” from the ‘Paradise Ranch‘ OST, ‘La Cha Ta‘, and ‘Chu~♡’.

HyunA is thankful of the fans’ support for “Dancing with the Stars”

It was recently announced that 4minute’s HyunA would be participating in the Korean adaptation of popular reality TV show, “Dancing with the Stars“, where celebrities are paired up with dance specialists for various dance battles.

After the initial announcement, some backstage photos of the recording were tweeted by 4minute’s manager Hong Jin Taek. He wrote, “The cast and staff members thoroughly enjoyed the food that you have sent. Because HyunA is busy preparing for the broadcast, I uploaded these photos for her. HyunA was so thankful that she teared up… she’s so happy now that her stomach is full^^” Two pictures were uploaded along with the tweet, where HyunA’s cute and sexy charms are clearly evident.

On the other hand, HyunA will be joining actor Kim Young Chul, model Jessica Gomes, weather-caster Park Eun Ji, professional baduk player Lee Seul Ah, actress Kim Gyuri, singer Kim Jang Hoon, singer Moon Hee Jun, vocalist Kim Dong Gyu, marathoner Lee Bong Joo, and announcerOh Sang Jin as part of the 11-member cast for the Korean version of “Dancing with the Stars”.

The show will broadcast its first episode on June 10th.

The follow-up song "Hot Summer" has powerful synthesizer sounds and their impressing beats invite you to dance to this electronic pop song.
