Will T-ara promote as units?

T-ara, who have recently become an 8 member group shared their thoughts regarding promoting as units.

During the press conference for their fanclub inauguration ceremony on July 14th the members said, “A lot of people ask us about whether or not T-ara will form unit groups and promote.  Currently there are no plans for that.”

A lot of girl group members have been doing some solo work or breaking into units and T-ara’s memberSoyeon said, “We know that a lot of our peers in the girl groups are going solo or doing some unit work, but T-ara is too busy promoting all together,” with a smile.

She continued, “That is why we do not have any plans to promote as a unit.  As we are now an 8 member group and have a fresh new concept, we need to adapt to that and plan to show what we can do together.”

On this day, T-ara, who have already debuted three years ago, had their inauguration ceremony for their fanclub ‘QUEEN’S‘ and greeted their fans.

T-ara released a new mini album on July 3rd after nine months titled ‘Day by Day‘ and showed that they grew and matured a bit and with their performances. They are once again receiving a lot of attention from their fans.

Jay Park & KARA perform at MTV World Stage in Malaysia along with Justin Bieber

As reported back in May, Jay Park and KARA performed at MTV‘s World Stage Live 2012 on July 14th.

The special event took place at “Surf Beach @ Sunway Lagoon” in Malaysia and thousands of fans came out to show their support. Other performers at the event included famous pop star Justin Bieberalong with Malaysia’s very own Mizz Nina.

Lee Jang Woo confesses he developed feelings for another woman on ‘We Got Married’

Lee Jang Woo admitted that he had developed innocent feelings for another woman while he andEunjung were apart.

On the July 14th episode of MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘, Eunjung was apologetic about not being able to prepare anything special for Jang Woo’s birthday this past June.

It seemed as though Jang Woo was trying to console Eunjung saying, “It’s okay, my co-host UEEremembered my birthday.”

After School‘s UEE and Lee Jang Woo currently co-host KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank‘ together.

But Jang Woo further upset Eunjung as he added, “There is such a thing as an affair. Receiving a gift like that while we were apart made me feel like it’s possible for your heart to wander.”

Super Junior hosts ‘SNL Korea’

The July 14th episode of SNL Korea featured the members of Super Junior.

In one of the skits, members Leeteuk, Shindong, Eunhyuk and Kyuhyun played villainous type characters where they would talk bad of a member when they left the room to use the restroom. When Shindong excuses himself from the room, they call him a pig and ask themselves what does he eat to get that large? They quickly change their attitude and act friendly when he returns. When Leeteuk excuses himself from the room they call him an old grandpa and says what kind of leader is he? When he returns, they act so friendly to the leader. Before Eunhyuk goes to the restroom they butter him up and say he’s so handsome and can dance so well, the ace! When he excuses himself they call him a pervert and says he doesn’t even change his underwear. They also butter up Kyuhyun by saying he’s great on Radio Star and is great looking but he refuses to go to the restroom and pees on himself.

Dasom shows close friendship with Sulli

SISTAR’s Dasom and f(x) member Sulli revealed a proof-shot of their friendship.

On July 14th, Dasom posted on SISTAR’s official Twitter, “[Dasom] Sulli and Dasom >3< My alter ego peach Sulli, is so cute. Keke”, and attached the above photo.

In the photo, Dasom and Sulli are posing adorably for the camera. The two idols who are a year apart, both wearing pink, looking like cute peaches.

Top Six K-Pop Representatives To Conquer Sapporo, Japan.

Sapporo Dome, located in the city of Sapporo, Hokkaido Japan is a familiar place for Koreans as the Korea vs. Japan soccer tournament was held there in 2002. Sapporo Dome is a historic stage as world-renowned artists including Bon Jovi, Eagles, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones, Bill Joel, and Simon and Garfunkel have performed there as well as top Japanese artists SMAP, GLAY, KinKi Kids, and Arashi.Top six Korean artists Kara, BEAST, MBLAQ, 4Minute, Rainbow, and BTOB will dazzle the stage of Sapporo Dome on August 1st for the event titled, “K-Pop Nonstop Live 2012 In Sapporo.”

The concert, which is an extension to a large festival in Sapporo, came together with the support of Hokkaido Shimbun Press, the leading newspaper publication in Hokkaido, and local promoters. The concert is expected to be the grand finale of Sapporo’s annual festival, “YOSAKOI.”

The local staff member stated, “We hope the ‘K-Pop Nonstop Live concert’ receives a great response so it can grow as a festival that could contribute to the cultural development between Korea and Japan. We are highly anticipating the passionate and superb performances of the K-Pop stars.”

“K-Pop Nonstop Live 2012 In Sapporo” will kick off at the Sapporo Dome on August 1st, at 630PM. The advertising company Mediacom is hosting the show with the support of Doshin Play Guide (Doshin Newspaper), which is an affiliated company of Hokkaido newspaper. KARA enjoys an outdoor pool in Singapore

KARA’s Kang Jiyoung recently shared a photo of KARA members enjoying an outdoor pool in Singapore.

On July 14th, through her personal Twitter account, the maknae posted a photo of KARA members swimming at the pool with a short caption, “〜♪”.

In the photo, Jiyoung, Hara and Nicole are giving their big smiles for the camera while holding up their V-sign happily.

KARA held their fragrance launching event in Singapore on July 8th.
