KARA reveals their current ideal types



KARA members talked about their ideal types.

Recently, the group appeared as guests on Nihon’s ‘Blue Laughter for Anyone’ to promote their latest Japanese single, “Bye Bye Happy Days”. During the show, the members talked about their ideal type.

Seungyeon shared, “I like guys who would always help me on house chores, and look after the baby. I would also like a guy with bright skin tone.” Goo Hara said, “I like guys with mid-low voice tone.”

Nicole chose, “I like sophisticated guys who pay attention to detail and can remember what I say.” Leader Gyuri chose a “mature and thoughtful guy” while the maknae Jiyoung likes “humorous guy”.

Meanwhile, KARA released their 8th Japanese single “Bye Bye Happy Days” on March 28th in Japan.

TVXQ’s Changmin wins another rookie award in Japan



TVXQ’s Max Changmin scored another rookie award in Japan!

On April 10, the Japan Movie Critics Awards announced the schedule of the ceremony as well as the list of award nominees and winners. According to it, Changmin won Rookie of the Year Award for playing Momo at the 2012 movie ‘Fly With Gold’.

This is his second time winning a rookie award in Japan for his acting career. Changmin also received the best rookie award from the ‘36th Japanese Academy Awards’ last March for the same movie. 

Meanwhile, the Japan Movie Critics Awards will be held on May 2nd in Tokyo, Japan.

Super Junior’s Siwon becomes Asia model of ‘LINE’



Super Junior’s Choi Siwon has added one more project to the list of his CF gigs!

According to SM Entertainment on April 12th, Super Junior’s Siwon has became the newest model of mobile messenger ‘LINE’ in Hongkong, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore and other Southeast Asia countries.

A representative from ‘LINE’ stated, “We thought that Siwon’s sharp and classy image would fit the brand image very well, and we decided to invite him to be the advertisement model of us.”

On April 11th, Siwon attended a press conference of ‘LINE’ in Hong Kong, and released TV CF of the brand for the first time. He will then head to Malaysia on the 12th for more promotional activities.

TVXQ’s Changmin wins the rookie award for the ‘Japan Film Critics Award’


TVXQ‘s Changmin has not only racked up achievements as a singer in Japan, but also as a rising actor by being honored with a rookie award for the ‘Japan Film Critics Award‘.
Changmin previously made his acting debut in Japan through the film, ‘Fly With the Gold‘ which premiered last year. The idol-turned-actor previously picked up the rookie actor award at the Japan Academy Awards back in March, and following his latest achievement, it has been revealed that Changmin will bring home another rookie award at the ‘Japan Film Critic Award’, for which the ceremony will be held in Tokyo on May 2nd.
Meanwhile back in Korea, Changmin is currently the MC of new KBS 2TV variety show ‘Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education‘.

SHINee’s Jonghyun lends his voice for ‘The Great King’s Dream’ OST


SHINee‘s Jonghyun is another artist from SM who has lent his efforts for the historical drama, ‘The Great King’s Dream‘.
Stepping aside from SHINee’s usual flavor, Jonghyun croons a ballad this time around with his track “1 Out of 100“. The song sings of unchanging love, and refusing to say goodbye as he hasn’t even said ’1 out of 100′ things he wants to say to his lover.
Before Jonghyun, Jessica also sang for the drama with the song “Heart Road“, which you can check out here.
