Baek Ji Young,"My boyfriend doesn't care that I filmed a bed scene"

Singer Baek Ji Young revealed that her boyfriend, actor Jung Suk Won didn't care about her filming a bed scene.

On the broadcast of SBS's "Strong Heart" on January 22nd, Baek Ji Young said,"Jung Suk Won didn't care that I filmed a bed scene",then she added,"But when I was working with 2PM's Taecyeon for my song 'My Ear's Candy', he was very upset about it. I think it was a warning" caused everyone burst into laughter.

She also said,"I think it's very convenient for me that he makes it clear what he likes and dislikes. If he says he doesn't like something then I will not do it"

Super Junior K.R.Y’s “Promise You” debuts #2 on Oricon

Super Junior K.R.Y’s first Japanese single has debuted at number two on the Oricon chart.

According to Oricon’s latest chart ranking on January 24, Super Junior K.R.Y’s first Japanese single “Promise You” ranked #2 on the Oricon Daily Singles Chart. Released on the 23rd, the single has sold a total of 40,635 copies on the first day after its release.

The Super Junior ballad unit is made up of members Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung. The group recently held its first concert in Japan and received an enthusiastic response, leading to add another concert at the Budokan on January 24.

Super Junior-M performs in Chinese New Year Special Concert

Super Junior-M, a unit of the popular idol group Super Junior, will feature in the New Year Festival special program of the Chinese Liaoning Satellite TV. 

A representative of SM Entertainment, the group’s agency, said, “Super Junior-M took part in recording of the New Year’s Eve Gala held at the Liaoning Grand Theater on January 17 and sang the title song of their second full-length album ‘Break Down’ and another hit, ‘Perfection’.”

Other entertainment celebrities including American popular group Backstreet Boys and the Chinese actress Cecilia Cheung also took part in the recording, along with Super Junior M. The program will be broadcast live across China at 7 p.m. (local time) on Febuary 8.

New Year Evening Gala is broadcast every year on Lunar New Year Day. The program is so popular that it has ranked as the most viewed program in that time slot for the last 10 years.

LEATHER - Leather jackets create a sense of playfulness through the effect of their colors.

Onew and Minho made appearances for the third volume. These two are the dependable members who lead SHINee together. What is the heartwarming episode that they share?

Even in leather, girls who give out a tender feeling are lovely.

Onew: We wore leather at today's photoshoot. Usually, I don't wear leather often so I don't own any, but I'm thinking about trying it out from now on.

Minho: I wear it often once winter comes. So I don't feel like it's tight or anything. When I wear leather, I pay attention to the shoes or pants since I don't want to be too flashy. Wearing gaudy shoes and pants together with leather makes me end up feeling like I look standoffish.

Onew: Since you usually dress like this, you're particular about it. I wear it for photoshoots and on stage, but I think I'm a bit reluctant to make it part of my casual wear. Even so, I'm leaning towards leather lately.

Minho: Which style would you like to try?

Onew: I prefer simple styles. Also warm and flexible clothes. The number one requirement when I pick out clothes myself is whether the clothes are flexible. That's why I want clothes that are comfortable.

Minho: Since leather is a tough material, girls look really strong wearing it, dont they? So I think girls who can coordinate leather into their outfit to make it look tender are lovely.

Onew: Definitely. I think it'd be cute if they wear feminine dresses and hang the tough leather over their shoulders.[/size][/size]

We are similar in hating to lose.

Minho: It's only natural. We're like real brothers, aren't we?

Onew: That being said, I'm the older one and yet I feel like there are a lot of times where you're the one who looks after me... (laughs)

Minho: Nah, you make up for my shortcomings all the time. You've always been doing that for me, you know? We were in charge of being MCs for a music show in Korea, right? Didn't we help each other out a lot that time?

Onew: That's right. We talked about a lot of things and made the program lively. The two of us really tried hard. We are similar in hating to lose, right? There will rarely be times when my competitive side emerges, but you are always concerned with competing and don't compromise. I think that's what makes you manly and cool. But there are times when I also think, "Isn't he being too passionate?" (laughs). I want to go along with that side of yours. In the end, we're probably just the same.

Minho: Maybe. I think the part that I'm still lacking in is your funny side.

Onew: I'm a comedian after all (laughs).

Minho: Hahaha (laughs). There is a wild side to you, but then you'd suddenly become serious. I guess it is your earthly charm to have different sides like that.

Onew: You're making me embarrassed here... If you're talking about that, then I must say I'm still far from being as considerate as you are. Thank you for covering me with the blanket the other day. You thought that I was sleeping back when you did that, didn't you?

Minho: Yeah. So you weren't sleeping then?

Onew: Actually, I wasn't. I pretended to be asleep so that when you got closer, I'd open my eyes and surprise you, but then you covered me with the blanket. I was so touched by your kindness that I couldn't even trick you (laughs). I thought that you are a really kind person.

Minho: It's not like I intentionally went to you just to put the blanket on. I got back late that day and was thinking to myself, "I wonder what Onew is doing right now?" so I went to see what you were doing. I saw you sleeping with thin clothes on and I thought that if I let you sleep like that then you might catch a cold. It was very chilly that day after all.

Onew: You are always concerned about other members like that, huh?

Minho: Yup. Somehow, I'm just concerned about everyone. But all of them don't like it (laughs).

Onew: Not me though.

Minho: Maybe not you, but everyone else seems like they don't like it...

Onew: I don't think that's true... Fine then. The next time we have free time in Japan, let's go for ramen, just the two of us!

What are your favorite drinks and snacks? 

Onew: Water and potato chips.

Jonghyun: Milk tea and all kinds of nuts.

Key: Beer, tea, coffee and sweet things.

Minho: Sports drinks, no snacks in particular.

Taemin: Jelly and juice.

KARA's popularity leaning on each member

For a music group that want to last long without any big discord or disbanding,  it's good to have a popularity that not excessively depend on 1 member only. A group that only depend on the popularity of 1 member, he/she can maintain the group but it also possible to became a minus.

 

A member that relatively got less spotlight can feel deprivation and the member with high popularity can think "I'm the one who fed and make this group live". Even one of the way to prevent a war between nations is the balance of power. Even one particular nation get more military power the war risk will become bigger.

 

The fact that all 5 members of girl group KARA getting an equal popularity can be felt during the recent Tokyo Dome Concert. This is important because KARA was once facing the danger of disbanding, and the time left of their contract with their company was less than 1 year.

 

Han Seungyeon have great contribution to prevent KARA from getting disbanded after their failure in KARA's 1st album and even revived after that. She is the one who wandered around on making appearance in cable TV and making people know the existence of KARA. However as time goes by both Nicole and Goo Hara also getting lots of popularity while making appearance in various variety program overrunning Han Seungyeon's popularity. Especially  to the extent that some producer want to make 'Ant waist' Goo Hara doing solo.

 

People also thought that Goo Hara has exceptionally high popularity in Japan. But it's not as much as expected. On the day of Tokyo Dome concert, among the merchandise that being sold, the fan that have picture of each members on it are sold out. Instead, Japanese fans  that holding fan with Han Seungyeon's pictures can be seen a lot.

 

On the concert, Han Seungyeon said in Japanese "I had a nightmare that there are no one who came to the concert but i'm really thankful that a lot of people have come today" and be moved to tears while getting great responds from the fans.  On the other side, Goo Hara and Nicole confidently showed their existence through powerful choreography.

 

Park Gyuri showed her singing ability with her solo part which stands out the most between 5 members. However the response for 'cheerful girl' Kang Jiyoung's stage are bigger. They showed responses to each of Jiyoung's words.

 

Kang Jiyoung who wore pink sailor uniform and sang Japanese sports cheering song title "School of Heaven" said "everyone and us are like the two wheels of a bicycle that need both to be able to move forward. I hope everyone and us can keep on become a pair of wheel that running forward." The audience greeted her words with thundering applause.

 

The fact that KARA's members, 5 people gaining even popularity and receiving spotlight equally, it shows the promising future that this group will be able to last long.
