4minute makes a comeback on Music Bank

After a long hiatus, the 4minute girls are back to become a hot issue on KBS’s Music Bank.

Whether it’s the light and flirty song, “Heart to Heart“, or the powerful and unique feel of “Mirror Mirror“, the girls are definitely showing an upgraded twist to their charismatic color.

“Heart To Heart” blends the members of 4minute’s individual tastes into one energetic track that captivates listeners with the energy of spring, while “Mirror Mirror” shows the mature transformation of the girls as they head into their 20s with their unique sound and an energetic beat.

4Minute makes Comeback on Music Bank with Heart To Heart

Cube Entertainment's 4Minute returns to the Korean Music Scene with 'Heart to Heart', a recently released track. The Music Video for this features Jungshin of CN Blue, and has a very cute storyline, be sure to watch it if you have not?

For this track, the girls of 4Minute have also switched concepts, from the feminist concept the girly one. Although this switch has received both good and bad responses, these girls still give their very best to their fans and the audience!

Jiyeon, "Eunjung has started to take care of her virtual husband, Lee Jangwoo"

A member of T-ara called Eunjung appeared in MBC 'We Got Married' as a subsequent of Jung Yonghwa-Seohyun couple. He's doing the program with Lee Jangwoo who's currently starring in KBS 1TV weekdays drama 'Smile, Donghae'.

On 4th April before the premiere of animation movie 'Gnomeo and Juliet', we get to interview Jiyeon. We asked her, "Aren't you jealous about Eunjung joining WGM?" She answered, "I just think that it must be fun (to join the program)" and laughed.

Then she revealed, "Eunjung-unnie has been calling him 'husband'. So more than my greediness, it's just good to see her cute image. I haven't met her husband (Lee Jangwoo) yet. But I searched for him through internet already."

Jiyeon revealed that she's satisfied with the holiday. Because for 2 years, she's only working without rest. Now is the time to rest. Lee Joon proved her words by saying, "Jiyeon is the busiest person I ever knew."

Meanwhile, Jiyeon and Lee Joon challenge on dubbing for the first time for the movie 'Gnomeo and Juliet'.

Jiyeon showed a fresh and active side of Juliet through her performance. She revealed her opinion about her first dubbing, "It was harder than I thought. Because it's my first time, I was nervous. I was also panicked because we have to speak in-sync with their lips (that were speaking in English)."

She confessed some complains regarding the recording. "I was sick (cold) at that time, until sounds are coming from my nose. My voice is kinda husky, so it become more husky thanks to the cold. The others were worried because my voice could go lower than Lee Joon's. But after we finished, everyone praised me for being so good in my first recording."

But unlike her, Lee Joon said another thing, "I was nervous at the first time but interested at the same time. I used to read comics / watch animation since young, so I practiced a little. I thought that my voice is good, since they chose me to dub it."

He also revealed his opinion about his first dubbing, " Actually when I was recording, it was my busiest days. I went overseas twice so I have to practice even inside the airplane. It's a shame that I couldn't practice much. But I did well because of the coach in the venue."

Lee Joon showed a comic-acting without shame to show the character of Gnomeo, and got an OK sign from the director in one-take. Jiyeon also perfectly recreated the character of Juliet. The movie 'Gnomeo and Juliet' will open on 14th April.

>Hyunah : In 'Heart to Heart', we're meeting fans in a new way with a girlish fresh and bubbly image different from the strong image 4minute has shown. It seems that many people found it changing and liked it. Before making our comeback, because they have sent us a lot of love, we are also excited and bearing anticipation ahead of our first performance.

>Sohyun : Even if it feels like 'Heart to Heart' and 'Mirror, Mirror' are poles apart for their concept, in this album, overall, the strongest particularity is that, for the first time, we picked a song talking about love as a title track. It's about time that 4minute, who has experienced love, makes you listen to a song about a love story.

>Jihyun : While we were preparing this album, except Sohyun, we all ushered in our 20s. And I think that we'll get to show you a more mature image with our emotional side and music-wise.

>Gayoon : We have improved in order to prepare a music that will enable us to get closer to our many fans; it's also about living up to the expectations of the fans who have loved our music and performances. It is known that 4minute's promotion activities are progressively turning out to be successful, how does it feel?

>Sohyun : We had our first concert in Japan. A lot of fans came to our second concert and filled the venue whereas it happened not a long time after our debut; I then realized our popularity. It was on stage that I realized it the most.

>Jiyoon : Sometimes, when we were walking on the streets in Japan, we were recognized and it felt great. Also, not long ago, at the Japanese Billboard Awards ceremony, we received a good award. Back then, because many people cheered on us and encouraged us, we gained a lot of strength!

If one says 4minute, we think of their powerful performances ! How about the members' anecdotes from the preparations?

>Gayoon : Since our debut, when we blended music and visuals together, I think that we could truly display our color. A lot of fans also said the same. So, in order to play with music that will entertain your eyes and your ears, we put a lot more of energy into it. We also longed to change our looks a lot and tried out many things.

>Jihyun : Because it is 4minute's first full-length album and that we had to show an even more enhanced image of us in response to the expectations of many people for our songs and dance routines, we found enough time and practiced hard individually on our own. Because I think that our album and performances will come off as perfect as the members have strived for on their own, we are also anticipating it a lot.


Is there an aspect that can make you say confidently "4minute is different than the other girl groups !"?

>Sohyun : It's teamwork !

>Jihyun : Above all, our teamwork is good : I think that it has become our very mainspring; it enables the members to be engaged in the activities in the best condition and with the best mindset possible. Because we know each other very well and because we understand each other, whenever we want to show our best image we help each other, consequently it's paying off on stage.

> Hyunah : That's right, teamwork ! Also, 4minute is said to be 'powerful' if we consider the 4minute with its strong performances. Isn't our strong color the thing that differentiates 4minute from the other girl groups and 4minute's very own charm? Haha

Introduce the 4minute song you want to make the Cyworld users listen to.

>Sohyun : 'Calmly and Naturally'. It's 4minute's first ballad and a song that shows another image of us, and many people liked it. It played many times on radio stations too. And whenever we sing it we pay even more attention to our voices and our feelings, I remember this because the fans really liked it.

>Jihyun : There are songs, aside from the popular title tracks like 'Hot Issue', 'Muzik', 'HUH', 'I MY ME MINE', in which we displayed other concepts with minor changes. There's 'What a Girl Wants' that we used as a follow-up track for the first time. It's a song that paints the girlish 4minute's childishness and I think it's a song that suits spring very well.

>Gayoon : For me, it's 'Invitation'. With the other members we liked it so much we wanted to have it as the title track. In particular, while preparing the performances for our Japanese concert, we practiced the dance routine together. When you add the powerful dance routine to the song, it's a song in which you get to feel its high energy even more. I hope the Cyworld fans will listen to it.

What about the songs filled with stories that are special to the members?

>Hyunah : I recommend G.NA unni's 'I Miss You Already'. Lately, while studying lyrics composition, I expressed and wrote a lot of thoughts. It's a song that I like to listen to when I'm alone imagining things. Even if I've always liked G.NA unni, her resonating and tender voice suits very well the sad lyrics.

>Gayoon : I'll also recommend a G.NA's song. I covered it with BEAST's Yoseob. It's a song that suits the season of love, spring. I'll recommend 'The Things I Want to Do Once I Have a Lover (with Rain)'. We, 4minute, also want to brag about the things only lovers can do, like in the lyrics, once we get a lover.

>Jiyoon : It's a song from the latest rising artist Katy Perry. Even though I like all her songs, among the ones I listen the most, there's 'Firework'. I think that her powerful appearance during live stages displays perfectly the energy of this song. It's an artist, among many others, that I want to learn a lot from.

>Sohyun : It's Keyshia Cole's 'Fallin Out'. It's one of the songs I listen to when I'm spending time alone. It's a song in which her sad voice and the charming melody are very beautiful.

>Jihyun : I'll recommend Britney Spears's 'Lucky'. Even if there are times I feel lonely, I always have to feel thankful towards the fans, as 4minute's Jihyun. Also, I feel really lucky to have fans who remained with us and who haven't forgotten 4minute and have kept supporting us while we were away. ^^

T-ara’s Hyomin bemoans her diet

On April 6th, T-ara’s Hyomin tweeted two pictures with the caption, “Raising patience, the most difficult thing in the world. Today, there was the temptation of pizza again. Also have to endure for the summer clothes. Ack… I’ve reached my limit!”

In the first picture, Hyomin is seen reaching out for a few slices of a pizza. The following photo shows Hyomin in summer clothes, baring her mid-riff. Fans gushed over her slender figure, and assured the star that she could still eat a few slices if she really wanted to.

T-ara’s Hyomin joins the We Got Married panel

T-ara Hyomin joins the panel for MBC ‘We Got Married 3.’

According to a ‘We Got Married’ producer, Hyomin has been added to the show’s panel after fellowT-ara member Eunjung was named part of the new couple.

“It’s commonplace for a member from the couple’s same group to participate in the discussion panel,” said a production staff member. He continued, “While there are fixed panel members, including Park Mi Sun, Kim Jung Min and Kim Na Young, there are also special panel members.”

The “We Got Married” panelists participate by filming in a studio, and the panel members watch and discuss the couples during their activities on the show. Hyomin has already began filming as a participant on the panel.

After the shoot, Hyomin tweeted, “Today, I watched ‘We Got Married,’ starring Eunjung. Ha ha ha… yeah …I kept smiling bitterly… why did she bring out the couple-mirror that she received from me! he he”

f(x)’s Krystal unveils comeback teaser photo!

The wait is nearing its end – talented girl group f(x) will soon be making their highly-anticipated comeback!

f(x)’s first studio album is titled “Pinocchio,” and it’s scheduled to drop on April 20th. The release will be followed by full-fledged promotional activities, which will begin promptly after the album gets distributed.

The group’s official website was also updated with a teaser photo featuring member Krystal. From April 7th to the 11th, the official website will be updated every day with a rotating teaser photo of each member.

Fans were also put into a state of relief as it meant that Amber will finally be rejoining f(x) for activities after a long hiatus.

SM Entertainment stated, “Amber will be joining f(x) for their upcoming album release, and will take part in all group activities. She will show off her stylish talent, and is determined to show off a brand new side.”

KARA’s ‘Jet Coaster Love’ debuts on Oricon Chart at #2

On April 6th, girl group KARA unleashed their third Japanese single, “Jet Coaster Love“, after the original release date was pushed back due to the natural disasters that struck Japan early last month.

As soon as it was released onto the music charts, “Jet Coaster Love” instantly rose to #2 on theOricon Chart. The incredible thing was that KARA dominated the chart without the help of promotional activities, thus proving once again their explosive popularity in the country.

All proceeds from the single will be donated to Japan’s natural disaster relief aid.
