Jung Suk Won promised to make his future bride Baek Ji Young happy.

After news of their upcoming marriage in June hit headlines, the actor commented in an interview: “I feel about the same as when our dating was first reported. When the scandal broke out, we were being careful, and we were surprised that it was reported before our official announcement. We told ourselves that we’d just enjoy ourselves as we’d always done. But right now is similar to back then. I’m thankful because we’re getting so many congratulations.”

He added, “After our announcement, I called Baek Ji Young, and we laughed. I think it’s because we remembered how it was when our scandal broke out.”

When asked about why he decided to marry her, he answered, “I’ve dated her for 3 years, and we match well. Also, my love for my girlfriend never changed in the past 3 years, and we have trust in each other. We argued once over something small, and during that time, I wanted to see her more and I realized how precious she was. I thought she was fate, and I decided because I thought we’d be happy from now on as well.”

He continued, “I grew up in a warm family. I want to make that kind of family. We’re both busy, so we haven’t made detailed plans, but I don’t want to miss this love. I want to make a happy family.”

The singer also showed that she can be both hipster chic and elegant at the same time with her graphic tee, motorcycle jacket, and black ruched top. A staff member commented, “Fitting with her title as ‘Asia’s star’, she consistently showed her unique charisma throughout the photo shoot.”

On April 17, Ryeowook celebrated his 500th day anniversary as DJ of KBS Cool FM’s ‘Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio’. During the broadcast, he said, “I’m going to have a free hug event with those who visited open studio.”

At the end of the day’s recording, Ryeowook kept his words and gave free hugs to every listeners who came to broadcast station to watch ‘Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio’ at the open studio. It is said that about 50 fans waited for the idol until the broadcast ended.

4minute releases video teaser featuring ‘Gag Concert’ comedians

4minute has returned to reveal more teasers for upcoming comeback, and this time, a new video clip starring the comedians of ‘Gag Concert’.

On April 19, Cube Entertainment uploaded new video starring the comedians of ‘Gag Concert’, in which they’re asked “What’s Your Name?”, hinting at the title of the group’s upcoming album.

For its upcoming album, 4minute will be working with Brave Brothers for the first time ever. Its upcoming promotional single titled “What’s Your Name?” will be in the “fantasy hip-hop” genre. 

The album is set to be released on April 25.

SHINee to releases music video teaser on April 22

SHINee will be promoting its next single to follow “Dream Girl”, titled “Why So Serious”.

“Why So Serious” is the group’s next promotional single off of the second part to their third album, ‘Why So Serious? – The Misconceptions of Me’. The album will be released online on April 26th, while the offline album will be available on the 29th.

A teaser for the music video of the single will also be released on April 22nd, through SHINee’s official webpage, the SMTOWN YouTube channel, and official LINE account. The song is said to be a strong rock/dance track that will be accompanied by SHINee’s charms.

Meanwhile, SM Entertainment announced that Jonghyun, who recently underwear surgery to fix his fractured nose, will be sitting out on album promotions.

After spelling out their names through the recent set of comeback photos and leaving us all curious with their tweet, “What’s Your Name?“, Cube Entertainment has confirmed that those words are actually the name of the 4minute‘s title track!

The latest set of name-spelling photos was apparently Sohyun‘s clever idea to hint at their title track, showcasing her creativity and lending a personal touch to the group’s much anticipated return.

“What’s Your Name” is the work of none other than Brave Brothers, and its genre is described to be ‘Fantasy Hip Hop’, which will apparently go along perfectly with the girl’s powerful and charismatic image they’ll be showcasing.

According to Cube, the song is an electronic hip hop song with a unique sound and the repeating lines “What’s Your Name?” will be hard to forget once you hear it.

In addition, a video clip has been released starring the comedians of ‘Gag Concert‘, in which they’re asked “What’s Your Name?” and they offer their responses, further piquing the curiosity of this comeback.

KARA picks up the Most Popular International Group Award at the ’17th China Music Awards’

KARA recently went on a selca spree in Macau as they prepared to attend the ‘17th China Music Awards‘, and ended up picking up an award for the category of Most Popular International Group!

The group went against some tough rivals like 2NE1, Big Bang, and One Direction, but KARA came out on top to walk away with the trophy. KARA shared, “It is an honor to be here today. We will definitely come again to meet our Chinese fans.”

In addition, the ladies also put on a performance of “Step” (which you can check out below) in front of the audience filled with various international stars.

SHINee to release album online on 26th + “Why So Serious?” MV teaser on 22nd

You’ll be getting your dose of SHINee sooner than expected as the online album release and MV teaser dates have been announced!

The group’s third album’s second half, which is titled ‘Why So Serious? – The Misconceptions of Me‘, will be released online on the 26th, rather than the previously mentioned date of the 29th! The offline release will actually be taking place on the 29th.

But if that still feels too far away for you, you’re in luck as the boys will be unveiling their MV teaser for the title track, “Why So Serious?” on April 22nd. The song is said to be a dance track that will be accompanied by a powerful performance that will show you a bit of a different side to the group than “Dream Girl” stages.

As mentioned before, the boys will promote as four members in the beginning due to Jonghyun’s injury, and it’s said he’ll be joining them after his treatments have been completed.

The ‘nation’s MC’ Yoo Jae Suk opened up about his first impression of ‘Running Man‘s ace and actress Song Ji Hyo.

On the April 18 episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3‘, Yoo Jae Suk shared what his first meetup with Song Ji Hyo was like as he stated, “I first met Song Ji Hyo when she featured as a guest on ‘Family Outing‘ in the past.”

“The filming begins in the morning and the traveling time is long so many female guests are exhausted by the time they arrive. That is why when they arrive at the filming location, we tell the female actresses to rest a bit and come back. For the most part, the female actresses will go rest for a while and come back. So at the time, we advised Song Ji Hyo to rest up a bit and come back. But upon hearing this, Song Ji Hyo didn’t even respond and just immediately fell asleep”, bringing laughter with Song Ji Hyo’s stern look.

With news of Baek Ji Young and Jung Suk Won‘s sudden marriage in June, some had wondered if the marriage was a shotgun marriage.

However, Baek Ji Young’s close friend confirmed, “Baek Ji Young is currently researching the various parts of marriage. She’s anticipating her marriage, and she’s very happy. I asked her myself, and she’s not pregnant. They didn’t confirm a wedding date, but they’ll be announcing it as soon as they confirm one.”

Both of their labels had made an official statement about the pair’s marriage in June. According to their labels, they had met with both sets of parents, and have decided to get married in June. Once they decide on the date, they’ll also be looking for a wedding hall.

The girls headed to Macau sans Seungyeon for the ‘17th China Music Awards‘. Seungyeon unfortunately had her MC duties for ‘Animal Farm‘, and could not go with the rest of the girls.

Jiyoung snapped a photo of all four girls heading over to the event and wrote, “Seungyeon unni, we’re having fun. Lala in Macau!“.

Gyuri retweeted the photo and wrote, “It’s the concept of unnis keke“. She also provided two selca shots of herself, writing, “It’s cool to have stage makeup on for the first time in a while“, and “A last shot before erasing the makeup…. Bye ㅜㅜ“.

Hara also provided a few photos of herself. She took a solo shot first, taking a photo of her reflection and writing, “I’m done preparing~~ Now I’m waiting…“. She took photos with Jiyoung and Nicole later on and wrote “Yo with feeling“.

Super Junior’s Sungmin to star in ‘Jack the Ripper’ for 3 years in a row

Super Junior’s Sungmin will be starring in the musical ‘Jack the Ripper’ for three years in a row.

According to SM Entertainment, Sungmin will be casting in the musical once again which will premiere on May 29th at Sungnam Arts Center. He will appear as Daniel, who begins a risky deal for the woman he loves. He has been playing the role since 2011.

‘Jack the Ripper’ is the hit musical that is first presented in Korea in 2009. The piece is based on an unidentified serial killer of female prostitutes in London during the late 19th century.

Sungmin is currently casting in musical ‘Summer Snow’, which is now being presented in Japan, and he is receiving much compliments for his great work and performance.

Girl group KARA won ‘The Most Popular CMA International Group Award’ at the recent 17th China Music Awards. 

‘China Music Awards’ is the biggest music awards show in China, at which Asia’s top stars gather together, celebrating and appreciating their works. 

It became one of the hottest issues that KARA beat such powerful candidates as Big Bang, 2NE1 and famous British idol group One Direction for the award. KARA shared, “It is an honor to be here today. We will definitely come again to meet our Chinese fans.”

KARA also expresssed their thanks through LINE account saying, ‘We got the award for Best International Group at ‘The 17th China Music Awards’ at Macau~~ it's all thanks to the fans who always supports us. Thank you >_<”.

Han Seungyeon is starring in SBS 'Jang Ok Jung' and PD Bu Seongcheol talked about her acting skills. During the press conference for the said drama, the PD revealed that he didn't know about Seungyeon at all. He continued "There were 2 new actresses I was considering for the role. When Seungyeon came to my office, I didn't know that she is a member of KARA but she has the image of the character I was thinking. I think underestimating her skills is not right just because she is an idol." praising Seungyeon's acting skills.

He then concluded the topic about Seungyeon with "We will be showing Seungyeon's acting skills that will surely amaze you."

Belittling their acting skills just because they are idols is not good, they also have the talent to be enhanced.

SHINee to Comeback with New Re-titled Album!

Idol group SHINee will be coming back with a new album after "Dream Girl: Chapter 2 - The Misconceptions of Me".

SHINe will be returning with 'Why So Serious?: The Misconceptions of Me' on the 29th of April after their promotion of 'Dream Girl'. unfortunately, member Jonghyun will not be able to join their comeback stage as he was just discharged from the hospital because of the car accident and is undergoing a nasal surgery.
