f(x)’s Sulli proves her natural beauty with an old photo

f(x)’s Sulli proved her natural beauty with just one old photo. Well, she’s proved her beauty many times before with many past photos, but here’s another one to add to the list.

The photo is a screenshot from the 2008 movie, “Fool/BA:BO“, which starred Sulli as well as actress Ha Ji Won. Sulli was actually playing the younger version of Ha Ji Won in the movie.

The movie was made only three years ago, but Sulli looks exactly the same (albeit a little younger). Fans wrote, “She didn’t change at all”, “Natural beauty”, “So cute”, “I need to see the movie again”, and“Keep growing like this.”

Will KARA’s lawsuit impact the Hallyu wave?

Ever since KARA’s dispute broke out earlier this year, the music industry has been focusing on the possible negative effects it might have on the Hallyu wave.

Fortunately, the majority of industry representatives have assured that the issue has not in any way directly impacted their personal success, nor has it affected the Hallyu wave overseas.

OSEN spoke with an anonymous representative who had recently interviewed Japanese reporters and revealed, “The Japanese staff and reporters do not directly ask about uncomfortable situations. The same goes for the KARA controversy. The reporters did not directly ask about it, but did show interest when the issue was mentioned amidst general discussions on agencies.”

Another representative who recently returned from visiting Japan added, “Nothing has changed regarding the direction of the girls’ promotions, as well as their contractual relationships. The KARA controversy gained a bigger response than predicted, but that won’t change or get in the way of other artists advancing into Japan.”

Despite the positive assurances, some did express that the controversy would inevitably lead to side effects. A representative working with artists preparing for Japanese advancement commented,“Regardless, it’s definite that this controversy gave some new material for those who have been trying to bring down the Hallyu wave. Negative news reports about KARA were aired on TV daily, and I’m sure there were many people who were exposed to KARA only through such news, and not through their music.”

Korean celebrities such as Won Bin (and more recently, SNSD at their “E-ma press conference) also received questions from the Japanese media about their thoughts on the KARA controversy. One Hallyu representative commented, “For now, KARA has been working as five members, so the interest from the Japanese about this issue has been settled somewhat. I don’t predict any further issues arising, and they will not be asking about KARA anymore.”

Could Eunjung be ‘K’?

There has been much debate over which student from “Dream High“ will grow to become the world star ‘K’, especially because of a particular line from Ham Eun Jung.

The February 21st episode saw ‘Go Hyemi’ (Bae Suzy), ‘Song Sam Dong’ (Kim Soo Hyun), ‘Jin Guk’ (Ok Taecyeon), ‘Kim Pil Sook’ (IU), ‘Jason’ (Jang Wooyoung), and ‘Yoon Baek Hee’ (Ham Eun Jung) audition for the worldwide music label, ‘EMG’.

Pushing past the strict rules and regulations that discouraged other tryouts, the six strove to make it into the finals. ‘Kang Oh Hyuk’ (Uhm Ki Joon) said, “Don’t show me your future, but your past. Show me how much you’ve changed in a year and those watching you will know to anticipate how you’ll change a year from now.

Showing both their singing and dancing skills, as well as footage from their past, the six contestants aimed to do just what ‘Kang Oh Hyuk’ desired. But Yoon Baek Hee stood out with her introduction, in which she declared herself to be the singer ‘K’. She also asserted, “I don’t think my image was good due to a scandalous incident. That is why I have to work more intensely than anyone else. This could be seen as my advantage.

She continued, “Right now, the title of ‘finalist K’ is something golden to me, and I will work hard to become that K which represents all of Korea. Look forward to what I can do.

Judging from these lines, netizens have started to conclude that Yoon Baek Hee will become the world star ‘K’.

Dream High’s Baek-Hee Reveals about Being Molested, Rescues a Troubled Jin-Gook: “I don’t want to go against the rules anymore!”

Seoul, Korea – Baek-Hee (played by Eun-Jung) reveals that she was sexually molested and also comes to the rescue of Jin-Gook (played by Taek-Yeon).

On KBS2’s broadcast on the 21st of this month of weekday series Dream High, Jin-Gook assaults the head of a media agency and gets into trouble because of it.

In the episode, the whole story of Jin-Gook getting caught up in a fight is revealed. Baek-Hee is sexually assaulted when she visits the agency head, which Jin-Gook witnesses, causing him to get involved in an altercation while trying to save her. In order to protect Baek-Hee, Jin-Gook decides to keep his mouth shut about the incident, and even prevents his politician father’s ambition to reveal everything.

As Baek-Hee feels tormented about other people pointing their fingers at Jin-Gook, she eventually reveals all to her friend Hye-Mi. However, Hye-Mi advises her not to tell anyone. She says that even Jin-Gook will understand her actions. Feeling acutely aware of how her friends and teachers love her, she ultimately comes to a decision. She decides that she must show courage in order to help Jin-Gook, who has helped her many times in the past.

She ultimately decides to ignore Hye-Mi’s dissuasion and reports her sexual harassment to the police. Thanks to her decision, she is able to somewhat restore Jin-Gook’s reputation when she explains the reasons why Jin-Gook got into the altercation.

When asked why she revealed everything to the police by Jin-Gook, Baek-Hee says she did it because he was always there for her and she wanted to thank him. The scene of two friends reaffirming their friendship during hard times was very touching for viewers.

The incident confirmed the fact that Jin-Gook’s father, who is a politician, does in fact love his son. For a father who always seemed to look at his wayward son with disdain, the episode showed Jin-Gook’s father rooting for and trusting his son in spite of the tough circumstances, even going as far as proclaiming that his son would never engage in mindless violence, as well as revealing his identity as Jin-Gook’s father. Jin-Gook is touched by his father’s affection and devotion, especially as he sees that his father has chosen to proclaim his love for him, rather than keeping his political identity safe.

Meanwhile, with Baek-Hee’s determination “to never cheat again,” and returning to pursuing her dream, viewers are left wondering who will be the next star “K.”
