4minute’s Gayoon displays her birthday presents from fans

4minute’s Sohyun caught netizens’ attention by revealing the birthday gifts that fellow memberGayoon received from fans. Gayoon turns 22 years old in Korea on May 18th.

On May 17th, Sohyun uploaded the picture and tweeted, “Proof shot supporting our Gayoon unni’s birthday. Because Gayoon unni doesn’t have a Twitter, she is unable to upload a proof shot, so I am uploading it instead. Gayoon unni says thank you. No matter what anyone says, 4nia are awesome!”

In the picture, Gayoon is found sitting in front of the birthday packages she received from fans. With her chin in her hands, it almost looks like she feels overwhelmed by the love they’re showing her.

Netizens cheered, “Heo Gayoon, happy birthday” and “So many presents, I wonder what’s inside.”

Celebrity friends show up to ‘Kim Yuna’s Kiss & Cry’ to support cast

Earlier today, we reported that TVXQ’s Yunho received a standing ovation for his ice dancing performance on ‘Kim Yuna’s Kiss & Cry’.

Well, according to recent pictures, many of the contestants’ friends stopped by to watch the first taping and show their support, including Yunho’s bandmate, Changmin.

After two months of honing their skills for the show, contestants were eager to show off their routines in front of their beloved friends. Changmin and SHINee’s Minho stopped by to cheer on Yunho, while comedians Ryu Dam and Noh Woo Jin came to support Lee Byung Mahn.

In addition, Dalmatian’s Daniel, f(x)’s Sulli and Amber came for Krystal, T-ara’s Jiyeon and Yoo In Na cheered on IU, and actor Bae Soo Bin came for Son Dambi.

It was also reported that the stars’ family members were also present for the recording, as Lee Kyu Hyuk’s mother was seen in the audience.

“White” reveals another promotional poster + teaser clip

Another promotional poster for the movie “White” has just been revealed!

The horror movie, “White: Melody of Curse”, will be released on June 9th and it tells the story of the hidden secrets behind the flashy life of idols. In the released poster, ‘Eun Ju‘ (Ham Eunjung) is seen with her back against the spotlights, but with blood and a scary expression on her face.

Standing behind ‘Eun Ju’ are three silhouettes, foreshadowing the story of the competition between idol hopefuls for the top spot. To top it off, the poster holds the caption, “If you disappear, then I will become the main”, expressing once again the jealousy and madness between the members of girl groups in their bid to become the main star.

The production crew also dropped a teaser for the movie. ‘Soon Yeh’ (Hwang Woo Seul Hye) is heard saying, “Singers are just a seasonal business. Especially idols are…”. Following that is a performance of the owner-less song called “White” by the popular idol group, “Pink Dolls”.

Following that are the words, “The gruesome passion to shine”, and the teaser dramatically shows a shift in atmosphere by revealing the members’ secrets. The movies boast of a cast including Ham Eunjung, May Doni, Choi Ara, Jin Se Yeon.

T-ara’s Hyomin has some fun with a microphone stand

T-ara’s Hyomin was recently seen being very playful with a microphone stand.

On May 17th, Hyomin wrote on her Twitter, “Since the streets are dangerous at night, I will fly to the practice room” and uploaded various funny photos of herself.

In the first picture, Hyomin is seen looking calm while walking in the dark dangerous streets and sipping on a drink. However, in the following pictures, Hyomin grabs a microphone stand and à la the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz, she pretends as if she flew to the practice room using the stand (instead of a broom stick).

Netizens who saw this picture commented, “Hyomin is a professional at these kind of pictures”, “The night streets are dangerous for a beauty” and “I think she is becoming more beautiful.”

Goo Hara, Lee Se Young appointed as ambassador​s for Sungshin Women’s University

On May 18th, KARA’s Goo Hara and actress Lee Se Young were appointed as ambassadors forSungshin Women’s University.

A representative from Sungshin Women’s University revealed,

“The two students have been appointed as student ambassadors for Sungshin Women’s University due to their exemplary student life and active entertainment industry activities.

The two will be involved in publicity activities and will be featured in the school’s pamphlets and videos in order to raise the status of their school until they graduate.”

Goo Hara has already received much attention for being spotted at her school on multiple occasionsover the past few weeks.

Meanwhile, fans expressed their concern over the bandages spotted on Goo Hara’s foot. It seems that her feet received some damage because of KARA’s killer heels and overwhelming schedules.

Netizens commented, “I wish they would wear tennis shoes instead of killer heels” “I wish she would be careful not to get hurt” and “It’s great to see that you are always so hardworking.”

KARA talks about meeting Matsumoto Jun on “Strong Heart”

On May 17th, KARA guested on SBS’s “Strong Heart” and talked about an experience they shared with Arashi member, Matsumoto Jun.

Seungyeon revealed, “We once guested on a Christmas special with a lot of other popular artists. It was cool for us to see stars that we had only heard names of.”

The program Seungyeon mentioned is Asahi TV’s “Music Station“, a four-hour live program that featured Japanese artists like Arashi, SMAP, News, Koda Kumi, and Hamasaki Ayumi.

Kang Ho Dong then butted in to comment, “So for example, it’d be like Won Bin, Jang Dong Gun, and Rain in one show.”

After much laughter at his witty comparison, Seungyeon continued, “After completing our stage, we saw Matsumoto Jun in the elevator. We’re all such avid fans that we weren’t able to hide our excitement. Goo Hara began talking to him first, and Nicole told him that Jiyoung was his fan.”

Jiyoung revealed, “I like him the most, but unfortunately I wasn’t there. In Japan, minors can’t work past 9 PM. After hearing that the unnis met him, I felt really regretful about my age.”

Seungyeon concluded, “We later saw him doing our ‘butt dance’ for ‘Mister‘ on a TV show. It earned a lot of headlines, so we were so thankful for that.”
