Various stars recently attended and celebrated the opening of “Vaira“, a hair and beauty salon run by famous star hair designer, Minsang.
Celebrities who attended the event include actors Lee Seun Hyun, Kwon Oh Joong, Jo Yeon Woo, Jangmi Inae, Ryu Seung Soo, Wang Ji Hye, Park Joon Geum, singers f(x), Wheesung, Hwayobi, Park Hye Kyung, and magician Choi Hyun Woo.
Some highlights of the event included Minsang personally taking photos of the celebrities there, as well as a display of a beauty photo collection from famous photographer/writer Lee Jin Soo.
Although the dispute between members of KARA and DSP Media is attracting unusual attention, KARA’s Park Gyuri will still appear on KBS 2TV’s “100 Points Out of 100” on January 29th.
Except for the Japanese drama recording, all of KARA’s domestic schedules have been canceled, and as a result, Gyuri’s appearance on the 29th is expected to attract much interest.
According to the producers, Gyuri recorded the contents of the episode before KARA’s dispute with the agency was publicized, so controversial material will likely not be found.
During the recording of “100 Points out of 100″, Gyuri truthfully revealed secrets she wanted to keep hidden.
In this episode, the theme was “raising endurance”, and guests had to share moments in their lives where they had to show endurance. Gyuri revealed an experience where she endured through terrible pain in her foot because she had to wear height insoles.
She stated, “I wore height insoles because I thought, as an unnie (older sister), I had to look more mature and taller than maknae (youngest) Jiyoung. Even though my feet felt like they were about to explode because of the high height insoles, I still had to endure and perform on stage.”

On January 27, Coca-Cola held it's annual Sports Award for the 16th year running. The event was filled with athletes that have made a mark in the sports scene. But the performers in the event, T-ara, seemed to have made a mark worthy of praise from everyone. In the event, T-ara came to entertain the atheletes there. They performed their hit songs like 'Bo Peep Bo Peep' and 'Why Are You Like This?'. They came with 2-less members asHyomin and Jiyeonwere out for their own schedules. But what really got the attention of the people was not the missing members, but the wardrobe malfunctions that the members faced. In the video(by TV Report) of their performance, T-ara were constantly seen handling their dresses that seem to be falling off. Without proper handling, this would have been an easy target for netizens to make fun of. Yet, the girls seemed calm and professional, exactly knowing what to do. Though evident, their actions went well with the dance, by putting their hands on top of their chest, slowly pulling up the outfits. LeaderBorameven consciously zipped her jacket up to protect from further accidents. New additionHwayoungalso experienced it, as she was swiftly pulling her dress up.Eunjung's outfit was constantly falling off of her aswell, but she was making sure that nothing extreme will happen. T-ara’s Eunjung revealed herself to be a hardcore fan of the famous band ‘Jang Giha and Faces‘ by leaving a heartwarming series of fan tweets, as well as a personal letter towards the band.
On January 27th, she tweeted, “Jang Giha and Faces, if for just one day I cannot listen to their songs, I lose strength. How do I phrase this… their music is like a book for your mind and soul. A book that is like a strong pillar of support that helps you stand your ground.”
She continued, “Their characteristic beats don’t have a set rhythm and raise my fun gauge so well. I bought the songs ‘I Left Something Important in the Room of the one I Broke Up With,’ ‘An Alien Will Abduct Me,’ and ‘Space Behind Your Mom‘ for my mini-homepage.”
Eunjung then left a letter to Jang Giha by writing, “To Jang Giha oppa. I’m not writing this in promotion, for real. For just once, wear what you usually wear, your jeans and converse, a hoodie… and perform. You look 15.4x younger and more handsome. They say your album has sold out, but could I not buy any that are in your office?… How about an autograph?”
Jang Giha personally responded to her message by tweeting back, “Thank you. I’ll give you one next time. With our first and second album together. In March, we’re even releasing our third album.”Eunjung replied, “That’s great. But like promised, please let me listen to your second album. Otherwise I’ll sit in front of your office wearing a mask.”

The body measurements of female girl group idols that were always avoided have finally been revealed.
During a recent recording of MBC’s “Idol Star 7080 Best Singer”, the idol singers were able to truthfully confess their body measurements and head sizes during the show’s “Idol Guinness Dol.Dol.Dol” corner.
4minute’s HyunA, who was always known to have one of the skinniest waists in the entertainment industry, was measured directly on set and confirmed her slim 23 inch ant-sized waist. Challenging her waist measurement was miss A’s Fei, who marginally lost by 2 inches with 25 inches.
Out of the male celebrity idols, F.T Island’s Song Seung Hyun gave a measurement of 26 inches, shocking the set with an ant-sized waist comparable to that of females.
In addition, the corner filmed battles between T-ara’s Jiyeon, SISTAR’s Hyorin, and MBLAQ’sThunder for the smallest sized head.
