“Victoria-sshi, you’re always fighting~ Whenever you’re disturbed, contact me~”

What a caring husband Nichkhun is. Maybe Victoria can return the favor when f(x) releases their new album!

[News] Mischievous Kiss Special edition on Mid November

MBC drama [Playful Kiss] that will be ending in the upcoming 21st will be meeting with fans again with its first ever attempt at an online spin-off special edition.

[Playful Kiss] production company Group Eight will be dwelving into the shooting for the special edition simultaneously as [Playful Kiss] will end its TV broadcast in the upcoming 21st October, and is expected to be shown through Youtube in the middle of November.

All through this while, dramas like [War of Money] and a few others had been attempting special spin-off editions that were broadcasted through cable TV, though so, it will be the first case for special editions to be broadcasted through the internet like this.

Group Eight’s related personnel has said, “After our last signing on of partnership agreement for this time’s collaboration in last September, our first step forward will be to release a special online edition through Youtube. Even the opening of a Youtube account is the first ever attempt”.

This special edition that will have a total of 9 episodes will consist of approximately 10 minutes per episode and will portray the after marriage life — after the TV drama ends — of male and female protagonists Baek Seung-jo (Kim Hyun-joong) and Oh Ha-ni (Jung So-min).

Group Eight personnel adds, “We will not stray too far off from the original and Taiwan version, yet we will still emphasize on the unique traits that only our Korea version could possess”.

On the other hand, [Playful Kiss] will be pulling in its curtains with its total 16 episodes this coming 21st (October).

[News] SISTAR on their training and newfound fame

If you asked a random person on the street what date SISTAR debuted on, they’d most likely tell you that they don’t know. What if you asked them when they started to become interested in SISTAR? They’d most likely tell you that it was after watching MBC’s “Idol Star Athletics Championships” for this year’s Chuseok festivities.

Bora won the gold medal for women’s 100m race, 100m hurdles, and 4×100m relay, skyrocketing SISTAR to fame, and earning the group the nickname, “Track Idols”. Probably no one ever thought of an idol group rising to fame through such unique circumstances, but SISTAR has managed to do just that amongst the fierce competition of girl groups in today’s industry.

However, they didn’t become idols by just sheer luck. The members averaged at least two years in training experience, along with an intense training period of two months, before their “Push Push” debut in June. Hyorin stated, “We’d go out at 10 AM and receive individual lessons. Then we’d eat chicken breast for dinner at about 5 or 6 PM and start rehearsal again until the next morning.”

Bora continued, “We always practice wearing high heels, so our feet our constantly swollen and bruised. Whenever we have to put them back on the next day, I want to just run away from the situation.” Maknae Dasom revealed a situation where she wanted to run away as well, stating, “We’d rehearse all night and return to our dorms when everyone else is going for work. I’d lay in bed and think about having to wake up again in a few hours, which made me afraid of getting up again (laughter).”

The girls also revealed themselves to be perfectionists. Hyorin claimed she was still upset over losing onSBS’s “Challenge 1,000 Songs“, while Soyou felt worried over not being able to satisfy the adults that attended their events since they sing pop songs over trot.

Bora also reminisced over her “Athletics Championships” wins by commenting, “At first, I just entered the competition not thinking much, but after passing the preliminaries, I started thinking that I wanted to do my best and get SISTAR’s name known since our company is small and only has us to rely on.”

[News] KBS 2TV Drama ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ Got Another Slight Rise in Rating

On the 19th, viewership rating agency AGB Nielsen Media Research reported rating result of ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ episode that was aired on the 18th evening, the drama recorded 13.1% on nationwide rating.

This record is a rise by 2.2 points from 10.9% rating that was gained by the previous episode on the 12th.

The reason of this rise on viewership is identified due to MBC popular drama ‘Dong Yi’ which had bid for goodbye thus increased more audiences interests on ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’. In this episode, Lee Seon Jun (Park Yoochun) confessed to Yeon Hee (Park Min Young), “As a man, you’re really good.”

At the drama bulletin, comments were left such as “Park Yoochun’s acting is beyond expectations”, “Altough the story is quite different than in the book, but both are still interesting.” “Frankly it’s a heavy burden, as this is a really good historical drama,” showing how attention of audiences rises.

Meanwhile, the concurrent time line broadcast dramas SBS ‘Giant’ recorded 28.9% and MBC ‘Queen of Reversals’ recorded 10.4%.

Super Junior’s Twitter king strikes again, he has uploaded yet another hilarious photo. It isn’t just your usual crazy Heechul photo, when you actually click on the link, it takes you to a photo of f(x)’s maknae Sulli…or is it?

It looks like Heechul has transformed himself into Sulli! In all the three photos he has his slender hands covering over his face slightly revealing Sulli’s many cute hairstyles and poses.

[News] 4Minute Release MV OST for Anime ‘Rolling Stars’

The 4minute girls have been really busy this year with lots of recordings for soundtracks to dramas such as Lee MinHo and Son YeJin’s Personal Taste, and The Fugitive:Plan B’s OST, now the girls have recorded for the soundtrack to an anime called ‘Rolling Stars’.

The music video contains footage from the anime as well as the girls recording the song although it looks like the footage was recorded some time ago, due to some of the girls’ hair colours.

The track is called “Home Run”, it is a very catchy song indeed, check it out below.

Group BEAST member Lee Kikwang confirms that he is a girl group two-timer?

Lee Kikwang appeared on KBS 2TV entertainment program "Happy Birthday" on the 18th and revealed "I like Miss A and f(x)" which caused some interest.

On this day, Yong Junhyung from BEAST appeared as a guest and replied to the question "Doesn't BEAST vote for the most popular girl group?" with "All they have to do is lie down. We like Miss A recently" causing laughter.
