Past photos of T-ara’s Boram reveals a more mature image

Ever wondered what T-ara‘s Boram looked like in her old photos?

Fans got to find out after a netizen dug up an old PSA and shared it online under the title, “T-ara’s Boram in a pre-debut public service commercial video.”

The video, which was shot back in 2006, showed a more sophisticated and mature image to Boram, even though she was only 20 at the time. She played the part of a woman who is looking forward to participating actively in society.

Many felt that Boram looked older back in the day, but some disagreed, saying, “She looks the same as now“, “You can tell it’s her by the cheekbones and chin“, and “Complete style turnaround does wonders“.

Visa problems delay T-ara, Davichi, & Yangpa’s San Francisco concert

A few days ago, we reported that Core Contents Media had delayed their American concert, ‘K-Pop Power and Beauty Concert‘, for reasons unknown.

It’s just been revealed that the delay stems from a visa processing issue from concert organizers.

Though the artists were not at fault, they still felt upset at not being able to meet their foreign fans in person. “T-ara, Davichi, and Yangpa all worked hard for the concert. Unfortunately, due to the concert organizers’ delay in distributing visas, we were forced to postpone the concert until April,” said a representative for Core Contents Media. “We also feel very sorry for all the fans who were waiting for our artists. We promise to perform an even better stage in April.”

If everything had gone according to plan, the concert would have taken place on January 13th, as scheduled.

In lieu of such a hiccup, T-ara will now double back to music program to promote their latest track, “Lovey Dovey“. The girl group is currently scoring four-for-four on the music charts, with a string of

T-ara's near sold out USA concert postponed...Why?

Core Contents Media artists T-ara, Davichi, and Yangpa's first joint family concert together in the USA was postponed due to unavoidable reasons.

T-ara, Davichi, and Yangpa were originally performing in San Fransisco, USA on the 13th (local time) for their first family concert.

The concert, which was the request of local fans, was practically sold out with over 8,000 tickets sold. There was a lot of high expectations and they were supposed to leave Korea via plane today (12th).

According to their agency, Core Contents Media, the are unable to have their concert performance in the USA because they could not receive the visas in time which was needed also by the concert venue and thus created a sticky situation. The agencies revealed that T-ara, Davichi, and Yangpa will get their visas in time and promise to have a concert at a later date. For now, Core Contents Media expressed they and their artists are upset about the April postponement.

Core Contents Media wanted to express it's not the fault of T-ara, Davichi or Yangpa and they are deeply sorry towards the local fans since there was high interest in this USA concert.

A representative said to Star News on the 13th, "T-ara, Davichi, and Yangpa went through a lot of preparations to put on a great concert but because of visa issues, the concert was unavoidably postponed until April. We really hope that T-ara, Davichi, and Yangpa fans can be patient until then. In April, USA fans can expect to see an even better performance."

T-ara is currently promoting their new song "Lovey-Dovey" which has been number one on the charts since it's release on January 2nd.

Goo Hara & Park Gyuri share a “mirror reflection” photo

KARA members Goo Hara and Park Gyuri shared a photo in which they’re striking the same pose while wearing matching outfits.

Goo Hara posted the photo above via her official Twitter page on the 11th and wrote, “Gyuri unni and I wore the exact same outfit to practice. Telepathy!”

In the photo, the two are wearing white baseball shirts with black sleeves, and black sweats to match. They even had their hair done up the same way and struck the same pose, holding their smart phones and looking towards each other. They looked as though they were mirrored reflections of one another, and the photo evoked much laughter from netizens.

Fans who saw the photo left comments such as, “Feel like there’s a mirror in between the two“, “Gyuri gets prettier by the day. They are so cute“, and “Good to see that they are so close. Please post a lot of pictures like these from now on“.

In related news, Goo Hara, Gyuri and the rest of the KARA members will be embarking on their Asia tour starting next month.

KARA shows odd fashion style at 26th Golden Disk Awards

KARA's fashion sense at their stage performance outfits have been raising eye-brows from viewers.

KARA who attended the 26th Golden Disk Awards yesterday in Japan graced the red carpet with four of the five members wearing mini dresses that complimented their figure, however when they changed outfits for their performance at the award shows, their style turned a great 180 degrees.

Park Gyuri who was the female MC along side male MC Leeteuk from Super Junior looked stylish in her long gown however, the outfits of Nicole, Seung-yeon, Jiyeon and Hara were very odd.

Their stage outfits consisted of silver, black and polka-dots not to mention Seung Yeon's very short shorts. It is not the first time that KARA has been pointed out for their odd fashion style for their stage outfits. What do you think?

Super Junior thanks ELF's for their four awards from GDA

Super Junior were the last man standing at the 26th Golden Disk Awards winning 3 minor awards and 1 major award at the prestigious awards show. Super Junior won 4 awards, the "Popularity award", "MSN Japan Award", "Disk Bonsang" and the most prestigious award of the show the Disk Daesang.

The members updated their twitter on the 11th of January with pictures of them celebrating with the 4 trophies they achieved from the show, the members thanked their fan club ELF for their love and support saying, "Thank you so much! We will continue to work hard. Elf's are the best!" 

Netizens who saw the pictures commented, "Congratulations Super Junior!", "Great Job Super Junior, even if I had to go to Japan for the show it was worth it", "Super Junior Fighting!".

Super Junior's Wold Tour in Japan in May is confirmed!

Super Junior's wold Tour "Super Show 4" in Japan to be has been confirmed! Officials have confirmed that Super Junior's world tour will be on May 12 to 13 and will be held at the famous Tokyo Dome in Japan. Last December, Super Junior performed in Osaka, Japan for their Super Show 4 and they had over 80,000 fans and for their concert in Tokyo, Japan they will be expecting about 100,000 fans.

However, Super Junior had their official debut in Japan already but they did not promote that actively in Japan, but despite not having active promotions in Japan, Super Junior is hugely popular there and they will be performing at the famous Tokyo Dome which is a very large venue.

After their concert in Osaka, the anticipation from fans grew and the interest from fans continued and they are looking forward Super Junior's concert in Tokyo.

meanwhile, Super Junior will be stopping by Taipei Arena on February 2nd to 5th and Singapore Indoor stadium on the 18th and 19th of February for their Super Show 4 world tour.

Super Junior thanks fans for winning at the Golden Disk Awards

On January 11th, the 26th annual "Golden Disk Awards", which are being held overseas for the first time, finally kicked off at the Osaka Kyocera Dome in Japan.

During the first day of the event, Super Junior won four awards including "Popularity Award", "MSN Japan Award", "Disk Bonsang" and "Disk Daesang". Proud members showed their happiness and expressed their gratitude toward their fans.

Super Junior's Sungmin updated his blog earlier and wrote, "Many of our fans came to Golden Disk as well~~!!!^^ We really have many good memories in Kyocera Dome to think about~thank you~!^^ We will keep the promise we said during concert~ Our fans must keep their promise too~~~!^^"

Siwon uploaded a screen cap showing Twitter's trending topic [Congratulation SUPER JUNIOR] and wrote, "always proud of you all. and always love you all. thank you for everything. cheers!"

Donghae and Yesung also thanked ELFs and shared some photos showing Super Junior's four trophies.
