'Sports Seoul' writes: "T-ara's agency who even tries to coach us on the direction of our articles 'a shame'"

If you recall, a few days back T-ara N4 held a press conference with their return to Korea after establishing connections with American hip hop artists. Several media outlets and their reporters were present at the event to ask questions and write about what was discussed.

One of those was 'Sports Seoul', who is now firing back at Core Contents Media for trying to intimidate the media outlet into modifying articles that the agency did not like. 

With the title "T-ara's agency who even tries to coach us on the direction of our articles 'a shame'", 'Sports Seoul' has released an editorial criticizing the agency's response to one of their articles, in which they insist they only mentioned the truth.

According to them, out of the 6 articles the media outlet released on the press conference, 5 were up to CCM's standards, while the 6th one, which was labeled 'T-ara's U.S. venture press conference that was not met with applause', had the agency responding in fury.

'Sports Seoul' states that in reality, this press conference was really not met with the hype that other artists' press conferences are met with. They mention that some outlets even just completely skipped out on covering the event.

After seeing the 6th article in question, the agency reps apparently contacted 'Sports Seoul', stating, "The CEO is not pleased,"  listing reasons as to why the media outlet should change their article.

'Sports Seoul' goes on to point out that this agency is the one who insists on promoting T-ara when the public still views the group negatively, and yet they get worked up about an article they think sheds negative light on them.

"The agency is expressing discontent because a reporter's subjective opinion was written down instead of repeating their contents like a parrot," the media outlet wrote.

CCM reps took things even further when they actually showed up at 'Sports Seoul's office the next day and cursed at the reporters. The media outlet wrote in conclusion, "Even if their power in the entertainment field has grown, this has gone too far... If they have this much of a high-handed attitude in front of the press, we worry about the kind of attitude they put on when they deal with othercompany reps or fans."

T-ara to reunite for Japan concert tour

Girl group T-ara, who’s currently separated in two sub-units; T-ara N4 and QBS, will be coming back as a whole group through Japanese concert tour this coming July starting with a two-day concert in Budokan Stadium in Tokyo.

T-ara became the very first K-pop girl group to perform on the stage of Budokan Stadium last year, and made headlines for selling out two shows even on weekdays. The group booked the stadium again for their second concert on July 12th and 13th, expecting a global audience of about 20,000.

The Budokan concerts will be included in T-ara’s Japanese tour, which will have a total of 11 performances in different cities of Japan. T-ara will perform various hits and greet their fans at their concerts in Japan.

Meanwhile, T-ara is planning for a come back in Korea after promotions in the United States and Japan.

Baek Ji Young to release new single prior to her wedding

Singer Baek Ji Young, who is currently in her early stage of pregnancy, will be releasing a new dance single, “Reminded of You”.

“Reminded of You” is a disco pop number that features a lyrical piano line, electronic beats and disco style melodies. The song is a collaboration between Baek Ji Young and producer Brave Brothers and will feature Electro Boyz’s Mabus as a rapper.

It is revealed that the dance song is Baek Ji Young’s summer gift for the fans prior to getting married. The singer doesn’t have plan on promoting the song for the time being as she is currently preparing her wedding this June.

f(x) to air a special preview episode of 'Amazing f(x)' prior to its premiere

Ahead of the actual premiere of their upcoming reality show 'Amazing f(x)', f(x) will be giving their devoted fans a preview look at their trip to New Zealand through a special episode!

The one-hour long preview special will show the girls getting ready for their adventure as they write down their own bucket lists. Sulli, who revealed that she had a fear of water since childhood, bravely wrote down, "scuba diving", on her list to push herself to overcome her fear.

The special will air on the 24th at 7 PM KST on MBC Music and 1:15 AM KST on MBC. Can Sulli finally overcome her fear of water? Find out through the show's actual premiere on the 28th!

4minute reveals making of “What’s Your Name” MV

After making quite a buzz with the release of their new track “What’s Your Name”, 4minute is back with the making-of film for its music video.

On May 23, Cube Entertainment released new video via Youtube channel, featuring the behind-the-scenes footage from the filming process of 4minute’s music video for “What’s Your Name”. The video also shows some cute and hilarious cuts of the members.

Qri will promote in Japan soon as a member of T-ara's subunit T-ara QBS, the girls will begin activities with title track "Like A Wind".

T-ara N4 to head to the United States on May 23 for Chris Brown and Wiz Khalifa concerts

T-ara N4 are going forward with their promotions in America this week. 

Agency Core Contents Media announced that the girls' schedule in the States has been moved up. They'll be heading to the United States on the 23rd, and will arrive in Los Angeles on the 25th just ahead of Chris Brown's concert in Las Vegas the following day. 

T-ara N4 have been invited as special guest performers at the American singer's event, where they'll be working with his choreography team Flii Stylz. They're also slated to perform at hip hop star Wiz Khalifa's concert on the 24th. Wiz Khalifa himself will be collaborating with T-ara N4 on stage as well.

Ahead of the concerts, T-ara N4 commented, "As it's the first reveal of our song 'Countryside Life' in America, we're very nervous and excited, and we still can't believe it's happening."
