Sulli participates in a solo photoshoot for ‘High Cut’

f(x)‘s Sulli was featured in the November issue of fashion magazine ‘High Cut‘.

In the photoshoot, Sulli lounged about on the couch and bed as the concept was about a girl enjoying a sunny day while indoors. Her girlish looks were emphasized with bright lighting, loose clothing, and a mix of neutral and bright colors. To fit with the concept, the makeup was kept natural and her hair was left down in loose tousled waves.

‘The Lord of the Drama’ releases trailer video

SBS‘s new drama, ‘The Lord of the Drama‘ (former title: King of Drama), has been highly anticipated because it features actors such as Super Junior‘s Siwon, Jung Ryeo Won, and Kim Myung Min.

The drama has now released a trailer video before its first episode on November 5th, featuring a teaser that flips back and forth between seriousness and humor. It is also loaded with references to the movie ‘The Lord of the Rings‘, which is also reflective in the title. Kim Myung Min’s character has a ring while he is called ‘The Lord of the Drama’, but his life goes quite literally down the drain when he loses his ring.

SHINee to release new Japanese single + live DVD & Blu-ray

South Korean boy group SHINee has announced that they will simultaneously release a new Japanese single along with a live DVD & Blu-ray on December 12th.

This will be SHINee’s second original Japanese single and will be titled “1000-nen, Zutto Soba ni Ite…“. The single will be released in both limited and regular editions. Meanwhile, the live DVD & Blu-ray will feature footage from SHINee’s first arena tour ‘SHINee WORLD 2012‘.

G.O praised SES Eugene’s natural beauty

Episode 12 of cable channel’s MBC every1′s “Idol Manager” will air on this coming 2nd of November. In order to be a successful all-round entertainer, time for special acting training were spent.

That day, G.O selected and praised Eugene when they were discussing about first generation representative Idol singers, who had veered to the acting career. “Eugene is the prettiest among the celebrities that I’ve seen so far”.

Towards G.O’s selection, Park Kyung Lim states that “Eugene is very beautiful to the point that she was even nicknamed as Olivia Hussey”

Furthermore, MBLAQ also mentioned Baby V.O.X‘s Yoon Eun Hye, Fin.K.L‘s Sung Yuri, and Shinhwa‘s Eric, etc, who are currently actively participating in their acting career and did some analysis.

On the other hand, analysis on idols’ acting and musical acting academy with guidance together from musical actor, Jeon Su Kyeong, will be revealed this coming November 2nd on MBC every1′s “Idol Manager” at 6 p.m.

In a situation of chaos at the Hong Kong Etude event, SHINee still manages to keep their smiles

5-membered Korean group SHINee recently attended a cosmetic brand event, and 11 lucky fans were chosen to attend that event with them. However, some [uninvited] fans managed to pretend to be reporters. They entered the venue of the event, causing the venue to turn out to be very packed. The "fake reporters" even competed with actual reporters for strategic spots in the crowd, causing chaos. Because of this, the event had to be postponed for 30 minutes before it started. SHINee, who arrived at the venue early, were forced to wait backstage.

During the event, SHINee (who were in black and white outfits) gave gift boxes containing their signed album to the other 2 female guests who attended. After SHINee appeared for less than 5 minutes, the Korean staff requested for SHINee to return backstage on account of the absence of a Korean translator at the event. This caused dissatisfaction among reporters who attended. The SHINee members left with shocked expressions.

After that, the five members appeared once again for an interview session with the reporters. SHINee mentioned that they went for a celebration meal after the concert, and planned to have another concert in Hong Kong in the future. Reporters asked about the incident where Hong Kong reporters wanted to interview Onew and Key when they were shopping at Causeway Bay and were treated rudely by Korean staff, having their cameras hand-blocked by the staff. The Korean translator did not want to translate that question and changed the question, asking about what SHINee's impression is of the Hong Kong media. Minho said that the Hong Kong reporters are very friendly and they are very grateful because of that. After that, the reporters asked them once again about their thoughts on the Hong Kong media. SHINee's manager answered the question for them, saying that they didn't know anything about the incident. Because some "fake reporters" kept disturbing the interview, the interview session ended after 3 questions were asked. SHINee were once again shocked, but voluntarily requested to introduce themselves and thank the media for their concerns about them. SHINee also said that they hope to meet the media again next time, and asked the media to keep on supporting them.

Meanwhile, the 11 lucky fans who were promised a chance to take a picture with SHINee cried when they were told that the photo session was canceled. The organizer promised to give them presents signed by SHINee to compensate them. After that, when SHINee heard that their fans were sad, they requested to take a photo with the fans before leaving.

The "White Music Festival" is the first event that encourages the spread of fashion, trendiness, and pop-style music in China. This event will featureSHINee as part of a lineup of the greatest stars in Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, such as Wei Chen, Zhang Xuan, HEBE, Sammi Cheng, Rainie, Joanna Wang, and Lin Yoga. It is a large outdoor music event in which the main purpose is the expression of fashion and music. The festival is divided into 3 large areas (pop stage, personal performance stage, DJ stage) and 18 small areas (the most important areas are Rock, Fashion, Entertainment, Playing, and Enjoyment). The purpose of the event is to listen to good music, enjoy the fun festival, and watch your idols perform.
