Baek Ji Young announces hiatus to focus on being a mother

Baek Ji Young has announced that she will not conduct any activities for the time being to focus on her pregnancy.

Her agency revealed, "She is regularly visiting a prenatal care facility in Seoul. Since she is going to deliver a child at a late age, to take care of her condition, she is not making any new activities. She is also not going on a honeymoon to avoid long distance trips."

Baek Ji Young recently wrapped up her activities with 'Voice Korea 2' following its live finale on the 31st. Other than her schedule to sing a congratulatory song on the 14th, she is planning to go on hiatus for the time being. She also recently released her dance track, "Reminded of You", but it has been revealed that she rejected all of the requests from music shows and variety shows to focus on her pregnancy. 

The couple will tie the knot at the Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel on June 2. The wedding ceremony will be hosted by 'I Am A Singer's PD Kim Young Hee and actor Kim Sung Soo. The congratulatory songs will be sung by Sung Shi Kyung and Leessang, while the reception will be hosted by Kim Chang Ryul with performances by Moon Myung Jin and Kim Bum Soo.

tvN visits 2NE1 forest in Sudan

tvN went all the way to the far country of Sudan in Africa. They visited the mango trees that were donated by the kind heart of 2NE1 and Blackjacks.

The Tree Planet Korea’s ‘Star Forest Project’ is responded by KPop idols and one of those is 2NE1. Blackjacks worldwide donated 1,210 mango trees to the village of Tonj that provide food, shade, home for wildlife and jobs. 

Super Junior's Yesung posts a photo of him from his military life

It's nearing to a month since Yesung left the life of being a Super Junior as he rendered the mandatory military service for the male Koreans.

He bid goodbye last May 6. But last Friday, Yesung posted on his twitter a photo of him. 

He's wearing a newly-shaven hairstyle, and he posted, "ELF, are you fine~ I'm watching over you^^ I'm sorry for May 6, so I'm giving you a present!".

His basic military training is over. However, ELF should wait for 23 long months.

On the June 1st broadcast of MBC's 'Music Core', Minho was introducing B1A4 followingShinhwa's performance when his microphone suddenly stopped working, leaving fans wondering what he was saying. However, even through this accident, Minho didn't seem fazed as he continued on with a big smile, repeating what he originally said as if nothing happened.

In the end, it was Shinhwa who continued on their winning streak by winning the #1 trophy on the June 1st broadcast.

T-ara's Hyomin leaves a 'reflection message' on twitter after a year

T-ara Hyomin finally tweeted after almost a year. If you can still account what happened, Hyomin has been quiet after the controversy back in 2012 and hasn't tweeted until today.

She left a very meaningful and self-reflection message on her twitter.

"Today is the 'Countryside Life's' last broadcast... Every stage has been very precious and even though I am worried and scared, after having experienced it, I realized the importance and dedication for work that I wasn't aware before. In that case... I will do better with a more honest mind. Honestly, I would like to thank everyone who listened and supported our song. Also, to our SPEED dongsaengs, choreography team and to all the staff members, whom I'm thankful for, you've work hard."
