BoA brings happy virus to the set of ‘Expect Dating’

Female soloist BoA showed off her free spirit charms at the filming set of the upcoming KBS drama, ‘Expect Dating’.

The production team of BoA’s debut drama recently revealed stills of BoA showing off her lovely charms on the filming set. In the photos, the star is shown wearing a raincoat while making silly poses and big smiles.

Despite the long hours of shooting, BoA kept her enthusiasm and smile, and also spread her ‘happy virus’ to everyone at the film set. 

‘Expect Dating’ will be created as a special drama to be aired by the KBS. BoA will play the role of Joo Yeon Ae, a woman clumsy in love and always ends up dating a bad guy. She will be working with Choi Daniel and ZE:A’s Siwan.

Super Junior mesmerizes Taiwan with ‘Super Show 5’

Idol group Super Junior landed in Taiwan and mesmerized 30,000 fans with their successful ‘Super Show 5’ concert.

From August 10-12, the Super Junior World Tour ‘Super Show 5 in Taipei’ was held at the Taipei Arena before 30,000 fans. The members performed 27 songs including their hits “Mr. Simple”, “Sorry, Sorry”, “Bonamana”, “Sexy, Free & Single” and more along with special unit performances.

Super Junior is one of the most popular K-pop stars in Taiwan. They previously ranked 1st on the Taiwanese music chart KKBOX for 121 weeks straight, establishing the longest first rank throughout the history of this chart. The group’s concert also achieved the biggest number of audiences of foreign singer and the shortest sold-out throughout the history of Taiwan.

Meanwhile, Super Junior will continue their world tour at Shanghai, China at Mercedes Benz Arena.

KARA to cross-dress for comeback showcase

Girl group KARA will transform into charming gentlemen for their comeback showcase.

KARA will hold the showcase for their upcoming fourth studio album at the UNIQLO-AX in Seoul on September 2. Dubbed as ‘KARA’s cross-dressing play’, the showcase will incorporate their boyish concept which was first hinted at their previous teaser.

During the comeback showcase, the girls will unveil the first performance of the new album. It will also be streamed live through Korean portal website, Naver.

Henry teams up with f(x)’s Amber for follow-up song “1-4-3(I Love You)”

Following the successful run of promotions for “Trap”, Super Junior-M’s Henry will resume his activity next week with his self-written track, “1-4-3(I Love You)”.

“1-4-3(I Love You)” is included in Henry’s debut mini-album ‘Trap’, but will be released as a digital single on August 23. The song is an electronic pop number composed and written by Henry and his composer team NoizeBank, and features labelmate f(x)’s Amber.

The song expresses the love story of a boy who is not fluent in Korean but fall in love with a Korean girl despite the language barrier and cultural difference.

Henry releases MV for Chinese “Trap”

SM Entertainment released the music video for the Chinese version of Henry’s solo debut track, “Trap”.

“Trap” is decribed as an urban dance pop number with a unique blend of strong drum beats, piano and strings. The song is accompanied by two SM artists, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun and SHINee’s Taemin.
