Donghae celebrates Super Junior’s Golden Disk with a kiss!

As allkpop reported earlier, Super Junior added another record on their list of accomplishments by hitting the 500,000 mark for sales of their 5th album, ‘Mr. Simple‘. As fans around the world congratulated the group on the achievement, member Donghae joined in on the celebrations as well.

On April 13th, he uploaded the above photo on his Twitter account with a caption that read, “Golden Disk kiss! 500,000 copies celebration! From Japan to Shanghai, it’s Lee Donghae!”

In the photo, Donghae is seen happily kissing the prestigious Golden Disk. Fans posted comments such as, “This simple kiss looks like something out of a magazine,” “I am jealous of the Golden Disk,” and “Congratulations on 500,000 copies!”

The April 12th release of the Gaon Album Chart indicated that Super Junior’s ‘Mr.Simple’ album sold a cumulative 502,830 copies since its release last August 3rd.

Hyomin and Jiyeon want you to name CCM’s upcoming girl group

T-ara‘s Jiyeon and Hyomin have announced a special naming contest for Core Content Media‘s upcoming seven member girl group!

On April 12th, Hyomin announced on her Twitter, “Our seven-member unnis don’t have a name yet. What do you think will be a good name for them? Let’s have a contest.”

Jiyeon also added, “Our seven member group does not have a name yet. Please give them a pretty name.”

The girls updated with a series of new photos of themselves enjoying their trip in Italy with the upcoming girl group.

Netizens responded, “Latex! It leaves a lasting impression,” “Queen? Seven Princesses? Either way, everyone is so pretty,” and “T-ara’s so lovely, I hope everyone does well!”

G-Market to open T-ara's Star Stop!

Popular girl group T-ara revealed today that beginning on the 16th, G-Market will open a Star Shop for T-ara until the end of next month.

G-Market's Star Shop will introduce spring fashion items that T-ara put their personality into. There will also be videos to watch of T-ara wearing products to influence purchases.

G-Market's marketing chief said, "Girl groups in Korea are represented as fashionistas, and with the newly updated Star Shop, T-ara will be able to appeal to young women in their 20's to 30's. We believe there will be a great response from customers."

G-Market will also be giving away prizes to customers who buy from T-ara's Star Shop including signed CD's and iRiver headphones.

On the 12th, Donghae uploaded the photo above on his personal Twitter account and labeled it with "Japan schedule has ended!! Well done and thanks for the work!!^^ Oppa Oppa!!".

These oppas went to Japan for their fan meeting and it seems they are going back to Korea since their schedule in Japan has ended.

In the picture he shared, Donghae and Eunhyuk are standing and their hands in their pockets and close their eyes. It looks like oppas are giving you a kiss to thank you for the love and support you have given to them. They look so sweet in the photo.

On the 12th of April, another photo has been shared by Eunhyuk. A photo of himself with Donghae. He wrote "Japan schedule has ended!! Please give oppa oppa a lot of love!!" as the caption of the image and attached the photo.

Eunhyuk and Donghae went to Japan for their fan meeting for their 'Oppa Oppa'. The Japanese version of 'Oppa Oppa' is doing well in Japan.

In the picture, both of them look fresh maybe because of the simple shirts they are wearing and less make-up. They showed plain facial expression and Eunhyuk posed with V sign. Their milky skins can also be seen in the photo.

T-ara's SoYeon also shares her own set of selca's to her fans. On the 12th of April, SoYeon updated her twitter account and said, "20120412 Milan: The Duomo square. I gave my thanks for the sunny weather". It looks like the girls visited the famous Duomo Square and she started the day with a nice drink and enjoyed the sunny weather.

In her polaroids, it shows off a luxurious vintage atmosphere with her fashion style and the background. Netizens commented, "She looks so beautiful! Have fun in Italy", "She should eat more", "The background is beautiful, she is also beautiful".

KARA is back in the Oricon Charts with special edition of Super Girl

Girl group KARA is still going strong in Japan as they released a special edition of their album in Japan. KARA released a "Super Girl: Kara Japan Tour Special Edition" repacked album and on the Oricon Daily Charts, their album quickly rose to the 3rd spot receiving huge response from locals fans.

Also, their Japanese album Super Girl is already nearing the 1 million mark as it has sold over 800,000 copies and with the sales of the special edition, the cumulative sales of the Super Girl album is expected to reach the 1 million mark in no time especially with the girls touring the major cities in Japan for their concert Tour.

Super Junior sells half-million copies of "Mr. Simple"

The album sales for Super Junior’s fifth album, “Mr. Simple” have reached 500,000 sales mark.

According to Gaon Chart released on April 12th, “Mr. Simple” that was released August 3 of last year sold a total of 502,830 copies by the end of March, hereby marking Super Junior to keep their position as ‘Album King’ for three years in a row.

Super Junior followed the record track set by Kim Gun Mo’s 8th studio album “Hestory” in 2003 and TVXQ’s 4th studio album “Mirotic”, released in 2008, marking the group to be the third artist to have achieved this album sales record.

“Mr. Simple” has topped all of Korean music charts as well as on various charts overseas including Taiwan, Thailand, and the Philippines. After setting a new record by being in the number one spot for 63 weeks in a row on Taiwanese KKBOX chart with “Bonamana”, the group continued their parade with “Mr. Simple” which has currently been number one for 34 weeks in a row. 

Meanwhile, Super Junior was the first Korean group to hold a successful concert in Paris with 7,000 fans at Le Zenith de Paris on April 6. The group will continue their world tour to Shanghai on April 14 and Jakarta on April 28 and 29.

Chansung is feeling under the weather

2PM member Chansung seems to have caught the flu and is not feeling well. On the 11th of April, Chansung updated his twitter account saying, "Ah, I should take care of myself better next time. I caught a cold after a schedule here in Japan. Dont worry its only a minor cold" and he shared a selca.

On his selca he can be seen wearing a simple V-neck red shirt lying down in the bed with a warm smile despite his cold. You can tell Chansung is feeling under the weather with his puffy eyes and red nose. Meanwhile, Netizens commented, "Please be careful", "Eat a lot of nutritious foods so that you will recover quickly", "Too bad, He looks sick, hope he gets well soon".

Hyomin and Eunjung take turns on being the photographer for their trip to Europe

Previously, We shared the story about T-ara members Eunjung and Hyomin showing interest in photography and directing and the girls themselves asked for their official photographer which is a professional and their director to teach them how to use the high tech camera's.

As the girls of T-ara flew to their 8 nights and 9 days trip to Europe, Hyomin and Eunjung took turns being the photographer for the trip photo's of the two bringing camera's were revealed. The two seems to have a huge interest in photography and given the opportunity the girls took it and with the lovely view of Europe tries out the new skill they learned. What do you think? Could their future career be being a director or a photographer?

Hyomin mistaken for a Girls’ Generation member in Europe

As many of you know already, the ladies of T-ara are currently enjoying a 9 day trip in Europe.

Member Hyomin is participating as a member of the staff for the photoshoot and the music video filming of an upcoming new girl group. While taking her camera and doing some sight seeing, Hyomin was approached by some K-pop fans who instantly recognized her. Unfortunately, they didn’t know that she was in the group T-ara.

On April 12th, Hyomin shared the above photo via Twitter and wrote, “They recognized me saying ‘Oh~ Hyomin!!’ So I ecstatically took a picture with them, but when I left they said, ‘Bye bye, Girls’ Generation‘s Hyomin~’ K-Pop is receiving a lot of love across the world, but it seems as though a lot of people are still confused over some things. Must work harder ^^“.

Leeteuk expresses his opposition to ‘We Got Married’ cancellation

Super Junior‘s Leeteuk expressed his thoughts on MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘ being cancelled.

A media outlet announced that ‘We Got Married’ would be taken off the air altogether due to MBC’s on-going labor strike, and on April 12th, Leeteuk displayed his opposition to the cancellation by writing via his official Twitter page, “No, no this can’t be~ we only saw each other a few times…”

Ahead of this tweet, on April 10th, ‘We Got Married’ wrote on their official homepage, “The program will be cancelled on Saturday April 14th, due to the ‘Music & Lyrics‘ broadcast.”

As soon as netizens read the update, rumors began to spread regarding the cancellation of ‘We Got Married’, and viewers began to voice their opinions, stating that they could not understand why the program would be coming to an end.

“We are willing to wait, watching the ‘special’ re-runs, but what do you mean cancellation?”, as well as, “What are the reasons for this cancellation? Please take it back!”, and more, trying to prevent the show from being taken off the air.

‘We Got Married’ has aired a few re-runs in February due to the labor strike, and aired a few new episodes in March, but the show once again became pre-empted starting on April 7th.
