f(x)’s Krystal talks about bruises, Kim Yuna, and “Kiss & Cry”

Having been cast for SBS’s figure skating variety show, “Kim Yuna’s Kiss & Cry“, f(x)’s Krystalrecently sat down for an interview with Asia Today and shared her experiences.

“I fell so many times while rehearsing that I now have bruises on my knees. It’s still really fun and I’m totally charmed by the entire sport of figure-skating,” she began.

Moving onto the topic of working with Kim Yuna, she commented, “It was hard for me to regard her as anyone other than a world star, but she’s extremely caring and tries to make everyone comfortable. She shares fun stories with me and we’ve gotten a lot closer by talking to each other more. When would I ever get a chance to be close to a national hero like this?”

When asked about how her first recording went, she replied, “Getting on the ice made me really nervous and I didn’t have a lot of time so I wasn’t able to rehearse as much. The day before the recording, my choreography was changed up so I had to memorize it just a few hours before I was to go in. I am a bit disappointed with that.”

Krystal also gave a thumbs up for the atmosphere on set. “It’s tiring physically, but spending time with the other nine members of the show is fun. Park Jun Geum and Lee Ah Hyun are both older than I, but I don’t feel the age difference at all and they treat me comfortably.”

“Kiss & Cry” will premiere on May 22nd.

4minute talks about their close relationship with B2ST

4minute recently opened up about their relationship with sibling group B2ST.

As B2ST were making their comeback on KBS’s “Music Bank“, 4minute was approached about their labelmates. The girls confessed, “They’re not like our siblings (brothers and sisters), they are like our brothers (treated like brothers instead of sisters).”

During a recent interview, 4minute said, “As B2ST is getting more popular, their female fans seem to be worried that they will get into scandals with other girl groups. However, the problem is that even B2ST’s fans don’t see us as a girl group, but rather as B2ST’s sibling group. We were shocked to hear their fans say, ‘If you are going to get in a scandal, get in one with the 4minute unnis’.”

Both 4minute and B2ST are groups under Cube Entertainment, and fans have known about their close relationship since their respective debuts.

4minute continued, “B2ST’s fans even take us easy. Our fans even pressured that if we are to have joint stages for year-end festivals, that we don’t do them with any other team besides B2ST.”

Currently, 4minute is promoting their follow-up track “Heart To Heart” and are passing the baton to B2ST, who are making their comeback this week with their title track “Fiction“.

f(x) wins Music Bank K-Chart again + other performances

Music Bank is back with a fun and exciting show that was chock full of amazing performances!

Besides the usual stages, there were comebacks from B2ST, Jewelry, and Baek Ji Young. Elsewhere, CNBLUE and U-Kiss said goodbye.

f(x) faced off against Heo Young Saeng for this week’s K-Chart. But in the end, it was the former who clinched their 2nd K-Chart win, having last won it on April 29th.

Congratulations to f(x) on the win!

Other performers included Lim Jeong Hee, Eru, U-Kiss, SISTAR19, INFINITE, Turtles, December, Untouchable, 5dolls, Norazo, Rania, Suh Young Eun, X-5, and SpinEL.

T-ara exclusive interview with Taiwan's Channel V 'Plans of a new Hallyu-doll'

Taiwan star TV, Channel V's special interview with girl group T-ara took place at TV Daily.

On the 20th at 3:30PM, T-ara's interview with Channel V took place at Seoul Gangnam District Nonhyundong at the office of TV Daily. Due to Channel V's request to hold the interview, leading reporter Ken personally traveled to Korea in order to make this interview possible.

On this day T-ara said, "We still haven't had the chance to greet our Taiwanese fans, but there are a number of ways we can communicate with them, such as twitter. We're aware that we have a fanclub there, which we were really happy about. We will come meet with you soon", passing on their greetings to their overseas fans. They then talked about their dorm life and the acting activities of the members.

Despite the fact that T-ara has yet to promote overseas, reporter Ken was able to feel the popularity of T-ara and the Hallyu wave, being well aware of their status in Korea, including Eunjung's appearances in MBC's 'We Got Married' and the horror movie 'White: Curse of the Melody'. Soyeon also gave a simple greeting message in Chinese, not forgetting about fan service.

Meanwhile, T-ara is currently preparing for their new album as well as studying foreign languages for advancements into China, Taiwan, and Japan. *
