2PM draws in 96,000 fans for their ‘High Touch’ events in Japan

2PM‘s Japanese ‘High Touch‘ events have proven to be a success, drawing in a total of 96,000 fans.
To promote their new single ‘Beautiful‘, which was released on June 6th, 2PM held ‘High Touch’ events in two cities. The group held an enjoyable and memorable event in Osaka on June 9th and Makuhari Messe on June 16th.
Their new single “Beautiful” has gained much interest since it was first revealed in a commercial forSempio Black Vinegar and 140,000 copies of their album were sold in a week. The album ranked first on Tower Record‘s weekly chart and second on the Oricon Weekly Chart, making this one of 2PM’s most successful albums in Japan.
It rained at the Osaka ‘High Touch’ event on June 9th, but 26,000 fans showed up despite the unfavorable weather.
70,000 fans were present for six and a half hours at the June 16th ‘High Touch’ event in Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture. It’s reported that the boys were moved and surprised by their fans’ warm support.
From both the Osaka and Makuhari Messe events, a total of 96,000 fans gathered for 2PM’s ‘High Touch’ meetings, making this the biggest ‘High Touch’ promotion for 2PM so far. Sadly, Taecyeoncould not participate in all of the ‘High Touch’ events due to an arm injury. Instead, the staff gave Taecyeon’s trademark ‘Ock Cat’ stickers as gifts as a way for Taecyeon to send his greetings to fans.

Preview of Super Junior M Zhou Mi & Victoria's Taiwanese drama


Back in January, we reported the f(x)’s Victoria would be making her acting debut in a Taiwanese drama alongside Super Junior-M’s Zhou Mi.

Titled ‘When Love Walked In’, the drama started filming on January 8th and set to air its pilot episode later in August. Victoria will play the role of an orphaned girl who will be at the top of a love triangle between Taiwanese boy band Fahrenheit’s Calvin Chen and Super Junior-M's Zhou Mi.

f(x) weekly album digital charts 1st place all kill with "electric shock"!



Group f(x) is currently in the midst of a surge in popularity as they swept every weekly music chart with their new mini album Electric Shock.

This album, which was released on the 13th, rose to the top of the weekly charts (June 11th-17th) on aggregate album sales sites including Hanteo Chart and Hottracks.

And as expected, title track "Electric Shock" dominated the 1st place position on the weekly chart of every nationwide music site such as MelOn, Genie, and Soribada, and with album sales being a matter of course and digital sales receiving a explosive reaction as expected, f(x)'s hot popularity is being confirmed.

The "Electric Shock" music video, which was released via Youtube on the 12th, has currently recorded 9,870,000 views and foreshadows surpassing the 10,000,000 mark.

Meanwhile f(x), who presented their comeback stages through various weekend music programs, is carrying out lively activities as they catch the eyes of music fans with new music and stages that highlight sophisticated performances.

f(x)'s "Electric Shock" MV hits over 10 million views


The YouTube hits of f(x)’s “Electric Shock” music video have exceeded 10 million.

The music video of “Electric Shock”, which was released on the 12th through YouTube, received over 10 million views in 6 days of its release. Also, f(x) caught the viewer’s eyes with their new music and distinctive dance at the comeback stages last weekend. 

Especially, the choreography for the title song “Electric Shock” was done by Jillian Meyers, who has worked with world-renowned pop stars such as Janet Jackson, Celine Marie Claudette Dion, Kylie Minogue, etc. 

Moreover, “Electric Shock” dominated the weekly chart of various music websites including Melon, Genie, Soribada as well as Hanteo Chart and Hot Tracks, the count charts for album sales.

The music video of f(x)’s new song ‘Electric Shock’ has been receiving a tremendous popularity from global music fans. 

The music video ranked at 1st on this week’s ‘Most Viewed Videos’ and ‘Most Liked’ of YouTube worldwide chart. 

Also, the music video received over 6,000,000 views on YouTube in only three days of its release.

In addition, on June 13th, the new mini album took the 1st place on the daily chart of ‘Hot Tracks,’ a count chart for album sales. 

Moreover, f(x) successfully presented their comeback stage on Mnet ‘MCountdown’ yesterday and will appear on KBS ‘Music Bank’ today, MBC ‘Show! Music Core’ on the 16th and SBS ‘Inkigayo’ on the 17th. 

Victoria wins MVP on SBS "100 Million Quiz Show"!


SM Entertainment proves its girls not only got a pretty face, they got everything it takes!

On the June 15th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘100 Million Quiz Show‘, f(x)'s Victoria claimed the MVP title after answering correctly the questions presented, and beating the other contestants (that included her fellow member Luna).

This is not the first time an SM idol wins the show. On the May 18th broadcast, Girls' Generation Seohyun also won the final prize, not only giving the right answers, but also accompanying her responses with thorough explanations.

f(x) is currently promoting the single for their 2nd mini-album "Electrick Shock".
