A Beautiful Debut for KARA, f(x), miss A & Sistar in "K-POP Girls In Love Live in Hong Kong 2011" at Asia World Arena
(August 23, 2011, Hong Kong) – K-POP Girls in Love LIVE in Hong Kong 2011 was successfully held at AsiaWorld-Arena at 8PM on August 23, 2011 (Tuesday). The 4 girl bands including KARA, f(x), miss A and SISTAR gathered for the first time for this first and largest ever K-POP concert in Hong Kong, and performed their hit songs and hot dances in full effort to show their sweetness, sexiness and charm to their fans in the two-hour long concert!
miss A arrived on August 22 (Monday), together with KARA, f(x), SISTAR as well as Kwanghee and Dongjun of ZE:A, who will be the emcees of the 2 nights “K-POP Girls in Love and Boys in Power LIVE in Hong Kong 2011”, landed on August 23 (Tuesday). They then settled down in the hotel and headed to the venue to rehearse for the great show – “K-POP Girls in Love LIVE in Hong Kong 2011”!
Even though the concert was going to start at 8 PM, the fervent fans lined up outside the concert hall starting from the afternoon! Also, many celebrities and artists were lured by the appealing looks and hot performances of the girl bands. They all became a little fan for a night and indulge in the massive Hallyu!
“K-POP Girls in Love LIVE in Hong Kong 2011” kicked off with miss A’s “Goodbye Baby”! “Goodbye Baby” was the recent comeback song of miss A. Accredited to its catchy hook, “Goodbye Baby” swept through all music charts on the 1st day of its release. The sexy dance in their live performance was exactly what the fans were longing for. The two Chinese members of miss A, Fei and Jia, greeted fans in both Cantonese and Chinese! The sexy band then performed their hit song “Breath” and “Love Alone”. miss A promised that they would have a special stage for Hong Kong earlier and they fulfilled it with Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face”! All fans were surprised as soon as the familiar beats of the song came up! miss A finally wrapped up their performances with their most popular song “Bad Girl Good Girl”. Every fan knew the dance of the song and imitated the steps throughout the whole song, turning the concert hall into a huge disco for a moment!
The best upcoming band Sistar was the next to show up. They first sang their most popular song “How Dare You” which excited all the fans! They then performed “Push Push” and “Shady Girl” with its energetic dance and songs. The four members then performed their sub-unit Sistar 19’s hit song “Ma Boy” altogether for the first time exclusively for Hong Kong fans! Finally, all members of Sistar returned on stage to perform their recent comeback song “So Cool”. “So Cool” won No.1 in Gaon Digital Singles Chart in the second week of August and is the most popular song in Korea recently! “So Cool” MV has attracted over 1.7 million views on Youtube in just one week! Led by the influential vocal of Hyolin and the sexy dances from all members, all audiences were quickly heated up!

f(x) is the iconic girl bands in the new era. They showed up right after Sistar to keep up the atmosphere! They started their performance with their sensational debut song “La chA TA” to warm up with the fans. They also performed their hit song “Chu~”, “Danger” and “NU ABO”, with Amber, the main rapper in the band, showed her amazing rapping skills. They didn’t miss out their recent hit “Hot Summer”, which was a perfect match in this overheated summer in Hong Kong! Victoria, the leader, main dancer and vocal of f(x), was also a Chinese too. She greeted the fans in Chinese which generated overwhelming responses from the audience. The fans just can’t stop dancing and chanting along with the beats! f(x) definitely turned AsiaWorld Arena into a large dancing pool! Some fans even followed f(x) fashionable and stylish dressing style in the concert to show the support to their idols!
