EXO's 'Overdose' MV surpasses 1 million views on YouTube in 10 hours + mini album receives almost 660,000 pre-orders

EXO's "Overdose" MV made surpassing one million views on YouTube a piece of cake by achieving it in ten hours since its release! That wasn't all that the boys had to celebrate about as their agency has revealed that the their new mini albums had received almost 660,000 pre-orders!

As of the 7th KST, EXO-K's "Overdose" MV has garnered over 1.1 million views on YouTube and counting. In addition, SM Entertainment announced on the 7th that EXO's new mini-album 'Overdose' sold a total of 658,710 copies in pre-orders alone (Korean edition: 372,160, Chinese edition: 286,550), which is said to be a new record for most pre-orders placed for a mini-album.

The boys also also already achieved an all-kill within just a few hours since its release, unfazed by their previous comeback delay.

Before kicking off her promotions, songstress Baek Ji Young has pre-released a song called "Fervor"!

She has also released a music video that actually contains footage from Hyun Bin's new starring movie 'The King's Wrath', leaving fans nostalgic for the 'Secret Garden' days when she sang the OST for the actor's starring drama.

Baek Ji Young will follow up with her other song "Still Hot" on the 19th and kick off her official promotional activities!

Henry is a lovable goofball for 'Dazed and Confused'

Super Junior-M's Henry was just being the lovable goofball that he is for 'Dazed and Confused's May issue!

Henry became the energizer on set with his goofy antics and expressions while playing with his snacks. He looked like he was ready to go watch a sports game in his sporty outfits from 'Lacoste L!VE'.

A Lacoste L!VE rep commented, "Henry, who is free-spirited and full of energy, is the most positive artist. Henry fit well with 'Dazed and Confused' and 'Lacoste L!VE's unique and artistic project for 'Dazed and Confused's sixth anniversary... Tao garners over 200,000 followers as the next EXO member to join Instagram

EXO's Tao has created his own Instagram account today, following in the footsteps of his other members, Sehun, Chanyeol, and more!  Within an incredibly short amount of time, he has already garnered over 200,000 followers despite having just one picture uploaded.

In the picture, he makes a double heart with his arms and his fingers as the sunset throws his figure into silhouette.  At the top, the message says, "I love my family, my friends, and my life ~LA."  The caption says, "Hope everyone'll like our new album! Thanks^^."

EXO dominate music charts and achieve an all-kill

Within just a few hours of its release, EXO's mini-album 'Overdose' has dominated the major music sites in South Korea and achieved an all-kill!

"Overdose" is #1 on the real-time charts of Melon, Mnet, Bugs, olleh, Soribada, Genie, Naver, Daum, and Monkey3. That's right, the title track has topped all the major charts sans Cyworld (Note: Cyworld doesn't offer downloads for SM Entertainment songs). The other songs in both EXO-K and EXO-M's mini-albums are snugly lining up in the top ten rankings as well, proving the boys' great popularity!

EXO's mini album 'Overdose' breaks the record with the highest pre-orders number

Fans just can't resist the "overdose" effect from EXO. 

On May 7th, it was reported that the pre-orders for EXO's mini album "Overdose" is 658,710 (372,160 for Korean ver, 286,550 for Chinese ver) and it breaks the record as the the album to have the highest number of pre-orders in the history. 

Moreover, the title track "Overdose" immediately climbed to the #1 position in real-time on many online music charts such as MelOn, Bugs, Naver Music, Daum Music, Soribada, Mnet and more. The Korean ver for the MV also surpassed 1 million viewers on Youtube in just 10 hours. 

In addition, EXO will make their 1st comeback stage on "M!Countdown" on May 8th.

EXO members lurking on instagram, Xiumin joins!

EXO members are literally one by one creating instagram accounts these past few days. Who are the latest? They are none other than Tao and Baekhyun.

In light of their album promotions and releases today, more members are interacting with their fans through SNS. Therefore we have Tao and Baehyun's instagram created today.

Tao's first post, "Hope everyone'll like our new album!Thanks^ ^". He attached a photo with him looking at the sea facing his back at the camera with words written on the picture 'I love my family my friends and my life ~ LA'.

A little later, Baekhyun follows with a photo of EXO's logo and captioned it, "#overdose #baekhyun ready?".

'Real Men' with Henry, Hyungsik, K.Will, Park GunHyung and more depart for the Philippines

According to various broadcast insiders on 7th, Real Men's Kim Soro, Seo Kyung Seok, Sam Hammington, Park HyungSik, Park Gun Hyung, Chun Jeong Myung, K.Will, Henry and more from the active troops departed for the Philippines on May 5. They have set up plans with the local troops for 5 days and 6 nights.

Since last year, 'Real Men' and the Department of Defense have discussed which location the first foreign troops can be taken to and now it has come to an end. In fact, 'Real Men' foreign troops have also nominated Lebanon, but taking in consideration the local situation, humanitarian support and activities engaging citizen, they've decided to come to the Philippines.

Caused by the Sewol tragedy, the visit was postponed and 'Real Men' decided to cancel filming due to mourning but they were already tipping the locals and carefully departed. The foreign troops are helping the victims of super tyhphoon Haiyan (Yolanda) in the Philippines. Engineer troops and medical units are helping people for disaster recovery and assisting in humanitarian activities.

The Araw troops are helping along with other troops from other countries. Araw (in the Philippines) means 'Sun' which symbolizes hope.
