f(x) dresses in Ao Dai for Miss Saigon pageant

f(x) recently visited Vietnam for the next episode of their variety show, MBC every1 ‘f(x) Koala’.

In order to fully experience the essence of Vietnam, the members dressed up in the traditional Ao Dai dresses to participate in the Miss Saigon pageant.

During the short time they had on stage, the members showed their personal talents and enthusiasm to the audience. In particular, Sulli, who was sulking for not having a personal talent, ended up doing an improvised gag that even made the native Vietnamese citizens fall into laughter.

As the episode is to be broadcast on New Year’s Day, the members also cooked rice cake soup for the Koreans living in Vietnam to celebrate the New Year.

Nichkhun & Victoria exchange Christmas gifts

2PM’s Nichkhun and f(x)’s Victoria spent their first Christmas together for MBC’s “We Got Married.”

The two will be exchanging small, but meaningful gifts in celebration of the holiday. Last week, Nichkhun had prepared a ‘blockbuster-level’ event for his wife that included the help of his fellow 2PM members. Unfortunately, the large-scale event didn’t get much out of a response from Victoria, leading him to go a different route this time.

He opted instead for a CD with a recording of a song he sang, expressed his genuine thoughts of her on it. Victoria showed a bigger response for this second gift, and expressed how touched she was by giving him a surprise ‘gift’ of her own in return.

The ‘gift’ that made Nichkhun’s heart flutter can be seen on the episode to air on January 1st, 2011.

B2ST’s Dongwoon clarifies on his ‘improper greeting’ to T-ara

B2ST’s Dong Woon posted an explanation in response to a flurry of criticisms, alleging that he had improperly greeted the T-ara members.

On the December 28th broadcast of MBC’s ‘Happy Day‘, footage of Dong Woon tilting his head to the T-ara members caused some T-ara fans to believe that he was being impolite. Some commented, “T-ara is still his senior, so isn’t he being too careless?” and “It looks like he’s ignoring them.”

On December 31st, Dong Woon responded to the criticisms via Twitter. He started, ”There were some talks due to my greeting.

What was caught on camera was a situation in which I had already greeted my seniors [T-ara], and because they were in the middle of filming, I just slightly bowed my head to greet them. Please don’t hate me too much.

When fans showered him with worried comments and consolation, Dong Woon replied, “I believe there must always be a clarification for comments regarding manners and character. I think you guys know the reason. I don’t get hurt that easily, so don’t worry ^^“.

More accommodating fans teasingly welcomed this seemingly stiff and unfriendly interaction, as they commented, “The beautiful (?) relationship between male and female idols!” and “All relationships between male and female idol groups should be like this“.

It appears that the scandal barely colored the relations between B2ST and T-ara, as the two groups collaborated together for SBS’s “2010 Gayo Daejun” on December 29th.
